Love800:
So you saying FMC(general hospitals) is bad?
Teaching Hospitals are where the fathers and mothers of medicine work, so that should be your first target. The chances are high that doctors, nurses and matrons working there have access to smart and good doctors that are even not working in teachings hospitals anymore, in private practice, work in both (many combine both) or are even ar3 based abroad. That is where research is done.

General hospital are the next in hierarchy. Good doctors may be there also, but you must have a personal relationship with the person so you can be able to get introduced to experts in different field. Don't just visit a new doctor that you don't have a personal relationship with except if the case is an emergency and you need a fast relief.

You can get a very good family doctor in both places, but that doctor will be your gateway to unlocking the best medical care in Nigeria. Just that knowing a good doctor who works or has previously worked in a teaching hospital is a bonus which makes it easy to navigate.
EducationRe: I Gave My SS2 Student A Physics Assignment, She Answered “masturbate” by epainos:
TechToyin:
Hello house,
I just need some advice abeg.

I recently got a teaching job this term — I’m in my early 20s and I teach Physics to SS2 students. I gave them an assignment on Gas Laws last week, and while marking, one of the girls wrote “masturbate” as her answer.

I was honestly speechless. I didn’t even know how to react. The school doesn’t allow flogging or any form of physical punishment, so I can’t just “discipline” her the old way.

I’m trying to maintain professionalism, but that answer really shocked me. I don’t know if she was joking, testing me, or if there’s something else behind it.

Should I call her aside to talk? Or report it to the principal or class teacher?
I don’t want to embarrass her, but I also don’t want to ignore it.

Teachers and educationists in the house, please, how would you handle this kind of situation?
You are in your early 20s and the person will probably be around 13, 14, 15 years. Max, you will senior that person with 10 years and you want to discipline such person.

Power intoxicates especially in Africa. That's how our parents and grandparents behaved. Now, think about it. There are so many people Makinde senior with age. Do you know Makinde? The gov of Oyo state. Even many senior him with over 20 years and they bow, and some even can worship him. Now, there are even successful people who senior him with 10 years age and they must address him "His excellency". Even his own father will address him his excellency at times.

So, this life isn't where you are. Just do your job. Teach them. Take the matter to the principal...simple. if the person is cool headed, just talk to the person politely. Your job description is to teach and not discipline.

You wey dem suppose dey punish wan punish.

You see this Nigeria... mehn!

HealthRe: Lady Shares How A Nigerian Hospital Wrongly Diagnosed Her With Stage 3 Cancer by epainos: 5:23am On Oct 20, 2025
In as much as I do not like many Nigerian doctors because they don't know much again and still they behave like gods, there still remain very rare extremely good doctors. Those kind of doctors are who we identify and go for. When you get one, you have gotten the rest because the one doctor will start showing you good specialists when you need them for yourself or your family members. It's a network you must form.

If you just get up and visit a medical center, you are in trouble. You better have a very good family doctor who you consult every time. If that family doctor is truthful and innthe network of very good doctors, they know how to get themselves.

Another way around it is knowing a very good matron or senior nurse in teaching hospitals. Those matrons and senior nurses know good doctors.

And be ready to pay for private consultancy. When they get the right person you need, they will either recommend you visit them in their private hospital or during their rounds in teaching hospitals. Anywhere you get them, discuss the best way around your request. They may even still send you to their colleagues for another opinion.

This is the way to go about it. Not just visiting one expensive hospital.

If my inner circle doest recommend St Nicholas, wetin a wan go do there? Most times, I meet St Nicholas and Redington doctors first in teaching hospitals. Then they say that...see, if you want the best, come do this surgery or come for better example at this or that private hospital because they have better equipment. At times, I meet them at private hospital and they tell me that, go to LUTH, Ibadan,or even LASU (teaching hospital) and they have a very effective way around it. At times, na the same doctor who attended to you in a private hospital, you will still meet in teaching hospital. The same person will navigate it for you.

But you just wake up and go to a general hospital, na way to six feet below. Our health system is damaged. This is just the truth.

Bottom line is that you firt must have better money, and then, you use your sense. Take the case of Aketi (ex gov of Ondo)...Betty later said that he was using spirituality (may juju plus pastors or imam) to treat cancer. It was too late before you did the right thing. Having money doesn't equate using your sense. Some na that money go kill them. But when you don't have money, you are already dead.

I hope you know that Ngozi Okonjo you are claiming today was born an indigene of Western Region and had her education from primary to university first degree in Ibadan?? The only bragging right you have on her is her marriage to a South Easterner.
Na waooo. A woman whose father was a king in her town is now the person who isn't Igbo by mentality. Na waoooo. There are many Igbos like that. There are a reasonable number of them in Lagos and Ibadan who have never visited their home state or have only visited it twice or three times. They speak Yoruba better than the Yorubas themselves. But guy....leave that thing. By the time they get to late 20s and they mix with their fellow Igbos even in Lagos, that aggression will start showing. It's in their DNA.

The same way, the good ones aren't good just because they lived in the South West. They are born good. Ngozi Iweala is born good. That woman is naturally intelligent. That's just it.

But I have never said that they are exceptionally intelligent. I only said there are intelligent ones among them. People normally insult them as if they are dull. They aren't. That's my point, but I haven't said they are exceptionally intelligent too. I only recognise some intelligent ones there to counter people who are saying only bad things about them.

All of igbo I did Business with while I was in Nigeria never kept the end of the bargain.. they must give flimsy execuse to cheat
To find a faithful Nigerian in general is too hard, and this had caused an artificial barrier to the success of businesses. Now, people engage in solo managed businesses. Many people I know invest in paper assets they can control and single handedly managed due to this reason. The motto now is "na where man dey work, man dey chop".

Here is the tricky part. I can't say "All Nigerians are not faithful", but I can say that "most Nigerians are not faithful".

What I know is that due to the fact that Igbos are too aggressive, they tend to show their true color more. Other tribes will still pretend to do you good for some time before they strike. But Igbos will knock anybody out instantly with their deception.

This reason is why maintainance businesses and trading are hard to do in Nigeria except the owner is present. Most workers on farms are thieves. Most auto mechanics are demons. Most tailors are chronic liars. Most directors in businesses are thieves. Most directors in Minitries and government departments are thieves. I can boldy say that all Nigerian politicians are thieves (not mostly.....all of them). So what are we talking about here?

I had written about it before that moral instructions should be returned as a subject for our kids. It is just too bad in Nigeria.

Let's forget politics and talk about our daily life. Igbos always behave very smart (of course, there are many intelligent people there...no doubt), but all of them want to dominate. They want to force everything. Even their first borns want to tell pther tribes they are first born adults or children and must be respected. In 2025, dem dey carry age and their culture to dominate others. Even sef dem dance na force. I love their dance....don't get me wrong..but na force force force. It's funny. Compare their dance to Akwa Ibom and Calabar that will whine and tweak slowly, consistently, and at times seductively. But Igbo...na force...go just dey jam everything together. grin

Very annoying people but so lovely at the same time. You see eh...just smile. When they start, I love Yoruba..dem go just dey look them. And gbooss.... gbasss...Yoruba go drop dem flat on the ground. After na to cry like babies say dem marginalise them. Na 1960 story dem go still dey cry on.. see them in this thread. grin What they don't know is that e dey sweet Hausa, Fulani, Efik, Ibom, Uyo, Calabar etc people as dem dey react with aggression everytime. If you wan entertain yourself, just whine igbos...wahala don burst...and.you go laugh tire. grin

As usualy, I like this thread. Let me keep reading their aggressive, mouth-making threats and bullying. Today...where Nnamdi Kanu and Ikpe dey? Na dem saviors be ooo wey dem don cage. The same "fear fear" so called Yoruba people are leading protests for dem Kanu in Abuja. Na Sowore wey be Yoruba man wan go protest. Dem govs no even get mouth. Na noise. But na Yoruba man challenged their fear fear" leaders...still werin dem do? All of them no fit dear am. He challenged them to follow them go Abuja. Where dem dey? Na just to dey shout on top social say Kanu must be free. Make dem come out to protest, where dem dey? But just imagine when MKO was locked up...despite it was the military those Yoruba men faced, they kept pushing via NADECO till Abacha was booted out. But Igbo.....na wao. As if Yoruba never faced the same issue (their strong man locked up). Many times Yoruba men went out to protest and they faced bullets.

Dem say dem be fearless but how many years dem don dey hide for Mondays stay at home in their region? grin See eh...just dey smile when dey dey rake.. grin

How do you marginalise a tribe that is contesting everytime? No one has ever said they cannot contest to be the president of Nigeria. But they are always losing. They don't want to compete. What they are demanding is that they have a right to rule without winning an election because they are one of the major tribes. A major tribe that cannot win an election. grin I always smile. Which kind of marginalisation be that? Dem don talk the story that we naija people sef dey wan doubt ourselves that we are marginalising them? Na only them? What about Efik, Ibibio, Tiv, Ijaws, Itshkiri, etc. Over 300 tribes. All of them don rule? But Igbo wan rule. You contest, you lose. Whose fault oa that? grin

Anyway, a no blame them. Yoruba man don show dem pepper during biafra war so na only noise with no action dem fit produce. Dem no wan take another knockout. cheesy

So, make we read how dem respond well to this whining. You wan laugh just whine Igbo...and you go laugh tire. Same way Israel go soon whine Palestine and Hamas so as to claim more land. Hehehehe. Yoruba get dem "musky" button.

If I had siblings who are of the age to enter university, I would encourage them. For sure.

Illiteracy is a disease. There are still so many young men and women presently in Russia...Moscow, Petersburg, Kursk, Kazan, etc in the Russian Rederation. So many are still there. Also, there are many private students in the nation. And still other Nigerians married to Russians.

Stay here dey talk rubbish. And FYI, I still encourage many people to apply. These kids mostly move from there to other places. Tons of Nigerians medical doctors trained by Russian yearly. But they pick up the UK or the US board exams from there so they don't return here. Lol. Tons of engineers, agric experts. Tons.

Those that return home can't even fit again. So, they save money and move to the UK or the US. And many of them already have the US visa. So that when they land again and meet people like you, they quickly japa back to the US.

Lol.

Very funny comments above.

FYI, Russia has had educational bilateral relationship with Africa and Asia for free education from Bachelor to masters degree. Then if you want, you can return for PhD. These programs have been on before 1970 sef.

So many Africans are there. FG arranges that of Nigeria. There is an entrance exam to qualify for it that students write every year.

Russia gives free tuition and free accomodation, plus a token stipend per month. Nigeria Then gives the students monthly stipends too. As at 2012 that I know they were collecting up to $600 or so per month from the Nigerian govt. I am sure it is more than this today.

Me sef, I fear Reno. I know that there must be a friction between him and Arnold for all these things to come up. That's there cup of tea. But I fear Reno as in ...I really fear him. Why? He is a big time bomb. How can you leave Jonathan and follow Atiku who were opposites at that time. Yet, he would be pretending. He knew Jonathan cannot team up with Atiku who actually was in PDP and left to team up with the opposition. Tinubu and Buhari weren't in pdd then na. But he sweet talk everything. And bommmm....he left Atiku to defend Tinubu again. Chai! What? How he disgraced Tinubu was just too much. Mehn. He called him a drug lord, and many other name. And even use personal hygiene to insult him.

To think of it, I now realise that Reno is over smart. And oversmartness makes one do stupid things. Does he ever think Tinubu will make him a real subordinate? Arnold said Reno wants to be Ribadu's VP. I mean Ribadu will be so non calculative to ever use him. When we know that talks here and there must happen. And Tinubu is definitely choosing the APC candidate after him. Sure, Ribadu is in the game, but we shouldn't forget the influence of other powerful people like Ganduje. Uzor Kalu and Dave Umahi no dey sell pepper for that place cos they too will want the position. Reno that hasn't won any political election wan be the VP. He felt he can have Osibanjo's luck. Lol. Osinbajo is too special. Reno...just attacking everyone. FFK is even still better. But really, Reno and FFK cannot be taken serious again. If you want to kill your inner circle just include either of the two. E go be on you. Na to use and pay them be the way to handle both of them.

I agree with Peter on this issue. If Awolowo couldnt hold Nigeria tight, then, you can't hold naija. How can you hold Naija people? Naija. Naija people? Nope. Dem betray Abacha sef who tried it and sent him to the life after death sharply. OBJ who tried 3rd time sef had to run his mouth lately to deny it again. The worst that will happen is that Tinubu will hold Aso Rock tight till his death. And baba isn't going to live for another 20 years na. That's even too much. The only reason is that all the ambitious people around him might wait for him to die before taking action. If to say he is young, forget it...the same day he leaves is the day they bury him like how they have buried Jonathan, and gave Buhari a befitting burial too. grin Na naija you wan tame. Never!

Do you know why I am confident? Naija no loyal. grin You no hear how Jonathan's phone refused to ring as soon as Buhari took over? Na Reuben Abati phone's first refused to ring. Guy man was shocked and published an article on one of the daily newspaper how his phone refused to ring. Na so Jonathan confirmed his too. Abati kon say "if oga's phone refused to ring, who am I?" LOL. Una no loyal one bit. Na how to remove the other person. See how Aregbesola behaved like the best loyal follower of Tinubu for almost 2 decades, and as soon as he saw he could pitch himself to Buhari's section, he dumped Tinubu. He felt Tinubu had no more chance in Aso Rock. Lol.

Your close ones are the ones who will betray you. Confirmed. That na Naija. However, I believe Tinubu will win the next election if he is alive, and will even successfully appoint the next northerner who will replace him. After this, e no sure for am. Either he dies, or dem rake am off the way. And dem go bulldoze away all his boys he is installing here and here to chop money. R can't easily hold Nigeria like Lagos.

DNA should be compulsory.

Anyway, I advise every man in such situation to go for it. Whichever of the kids that isn't his can be sorted out, but the first is to separate from the lady and go for divorce straight up. The kids are innocent, so, adopting them legally is the way forward. If their papa now says he wants them by force, cut out of the picture and start afresh. The kids will face the trauma but you have done your best. If the kids grow up and they still want to contact you, just attend to them. And if they also resent you, your new family is your job.

You aren't the cause of their wahala.

Tafawa Balewa had the clearest accent, though, I can still hear his native accent affecting very tiny bit of his words., and the worst was Buhari. Damn! He had a terrible accent affected so much by his native tongue. He pronounced words so wrongly. The worst Yoruba is Sonekan...his egba (oe where was he from) was so thick in his pronunciation. Other northerners with very thick pronunciations are Gowon and Muritala Mohammed. Jonathan's own is a bit better, but guy man doesn't know how to pronounce "th". Lol. Tinubu is so clear. IBB too isn't that clear. IBB is just in the middle. Mehn...that Abacha own worse. Lol....but better than Buhari....that Buhari....that man na the wrongest man. His accent was too poor. Lol.

OneCandleAway:
No one said he didn't attend the college.

What we say is the entry qualifications he used to enter are false. They belong to a dead bola Tinubu who was female.
So, how do you want to prove this when you wrote that "we say"? How many people said it?

The truth is that most Nigerians see "a substance" in the story, but we all know that such cannot be proved. Also, 99.9999999% Nigerians would tell Bola to go ahead if they were consulted then. The story was that a poor smart boy who didn't dream of traveling suddenly had the opportunity when the daughter of his sponsor died suddenly. And as an adopted child, they made papers for him to replace her. If na you...you no go go? And now, how do you want to prove it?

I am not saying the story is true, but the way it is, there is nothing anyone can prove. And all those trying to prosecute him would have advised him to go.

So, the only way they can challenge him is if he did not have the degree, but he did. The 'fullish' mistake the old man made was to use a back door transcript cos he didn't want to go through the right channel because of only what he knew about. Maybe the wahala. "Afterall, dem go see the real thing so why he wan stress himself". I am sure that was his thought. He didn't know that they will expand it for him. And then, the one that nailed him was the drug case. Perhaps something happened and he didn't want the school to even put things together and know something. Not sure. But there is something that made the baba ran it like that. And he had been using it and going scot free until when Late Gani Fawehinmi bursted him. But he couldn't nail him because he actually went to the school. The same way Reno couldn't nail him.

So, like you wrote...he was the one who started the degree, and he finished it there. The rest, no one can prove it.

Now that FBI has refused to release the details of the documents, it means that it's a classified operation. It may even be that he was blackmailed to do the thing and he reported himself, amd those ones shielded him. Perhaps he had actually done before reporting himself. Many things can happen. And my guess above may be wrong.

But FBI no gree release the papers. And baba himself no gree travel to the US again. Something dey there. It is classified.

Wetin we go kon do like this? cheesy

But the funny issue is that in this 2025, Saudi Arabians are welcomed to everywhere. Footballers are even moving down there. Ronaldo has attracted so many footballers there. They Arabians aren't strict with so many things.

Saudi has successfully separated itself from the likes of Talibans, Hamas, ISIS, etc that are too strict with the kind of Islam they practise.

1 Corinthians chapter 9-14
In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.
Galatians 6:6
"Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches".

It's simple the man has a family to feed ,he has children to pay school fees , he has bills to pay ,he needs a house, he needs a car, he needs clothes to wear etc
Matthew 10:8: "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give". This verse instructs disciples to share what they have been given without cost.

1 Corinthians 9:18: "What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may make the gospel of Christ free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel".

2 Corinthians 2:17: "For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ".

If you want to earn money from the gospel, enrol with an organisation as a full staff member and take salary. That's what the Bible say. Stop twisting the bible. The Bible does not tell you to become an pastorpreneur, gospel-business man or woman. The bible does not tell you to collect copyright from gospel songs which are meant to be distributed freely.

Stop twisting the Bible.

Mrfeel:
1 Corinthians chapter 9-14
In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.
Galatians 6:6
"Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches".
Stop quoting the Bible like this. Read below
epainos:
You are mixing things up. Let's discuss it financially since you want to go that route.

Charisteristics of Ministers:

1. Anyone who volunteers their time for the gospel. Can be anyone. Pastor, singers, choristers, deacons, deaconess, bishops, elders, evangelists, apostles, etc. Anyone can be including Tim Godfrey. But is his mistratioms acceptable in God's presence. Thats for God to answer.

2. Those from the tribes of Levi worked full time in a particular synagogue. Part-time workers exist as well, and the majority of them are unpaid. Only Levites are fed and can claim to be paid. But you must be in that synagogue. If you compare it to today, ministers are expected to collect salaries rather than charging for each church they visit. The salary is for feeding them. Take a salary from an organization. Period

3. Singers among them sang Psalms. Authors are: Moses, David, Solomon, Sons of Korah, Aseph, Ezra, etc. Did they collect money from users of their songs, as they would with copyright? Tim Godfrey goes further to stop users on Twitter by asking X to ban the accounts if they don't pay him for using his song. Would you be able to use Psalms if you had to pay copyright?

I could go on and on about how wrong this guy is. And it is not Christlike. Do you see my point, or do you want me to continue? This man for Christ's sake is making millions with his YouTube channels. He wants to be paid by all churches where he goes to minister. That's getting paid for the sake of the gospel as against getting a salary. He isn't contented with his YouTube. Then imagine Tim saying, "Do not use my songs in your Twitter posts." Pay me first. Oh. Before I use his song to minister on Twitter, he needs to collect money. Think about it na. It means you are saying that any minister who preaches must first collect money. It is wrong.

There is a difference between demanding money before ministering and collecting an offering for you after ministering. The two are different. The latter is an effort to assist you with your expenses. If you are a minister and someone does not pay you and you genuinely cannot afford it, simply decline the invitation the next time without explaining why. It's wisdom. But you go ahead and demand that...pay me so and so and so because I need to pay my employees...mehn...that is rubbish. Simply decline the invitation if you know it will put you into debt. But when God tells you to go there, whether you have the money or not, you must go. And this is where he asks you to trust him for divine provision.
So, relate your bible verse again with the issues raised.

Their living = salary. The levites example is a case study.

Do you still consider stopping people from using his songs freely as a means of living?

You people will quote the Bible and mislead others. Mehn! Na waoo
