Exactly what I have been looking at. Normally Fred shouldn't even be the key player in that CM. But as it stands, injury to him and the CM position is in trouble. Attack is also very thin. Only the CB position has enough personnel

We've have basically done the needful. Theres no way we'll pay 100m for Antony and we all know the issue with FDJ. This is not the board faults it's what the manager wants. You can't force players on him. If he have alternatives we would have gotten them. We've done basically everything possible to get FDJ with all the embarrassment we've encountered. The board is not to be blamed. Rather blame the manager that is hellbent on FDJ or nothing

You know why I would blame the board? If there's a structure, then they should know that its dangerous not to identify alternatives. You should not expect to get all your A targets and if there was a functional DOF, they should have had that discussion with the manager

I don't think this is what I reacted to. You said buying these players is to appease Ronaldo and not for the club. You didn't question if there are 7 quality players we could have gotten. You instead implied that going after those quality players will be because of Ronaldo, and not that the club is in serious need of those players

show me a club that signs 8 players I 1 window.. where are ypu going to get 8 quality players in 1 window, for you to bring in 8 players, you have to sell many players.. You can't do this just to appease a 37 year old.. rebuilding takes time.. in 2 to 4 Windows, the squad will look different..

They owe him money too and it is easier to negotiate when you have an advantage which he currently does. Until they agree in writing about how they'll pay him the 17M or so owed, he does not have to leave. I am pretty sure he tried to buy Ole's house in Manchester which implies that he is considering playing for your team.

He can take Barca to court and win even if he's no more their player. Or is there something in the contract that cancels all outstanding debt if he leaves the club?

The way I see it, there's no or. We need at least one new midfielder and one new winger going into the new season. If not the squad will be too light in the middle and attack. We currently don't have a substitute for Sancho/Rashford. Also if Fred needs to rest, I don't see any senior player that's going to step up

I was impressed with the amount of players we had in the box for that goal. And that has been the case generally this preseason
