Garnacho was a sure bet to miss at least one very good chance every game. Sometimes he played as of he had beef with his teammates. At some point that was corrected. Then we had a striker that is more interested in fighting than keeping the ball and bringing others into play.

Don't forget we loaned out Antony and Rashford without replacement, then Amad got injured. Zirkzee also got injured and we had just one striker, the wrestler, for many games.

I think there are a couple of factors. It will be very lazy of me or anyone to lay all the blame there. Maybe the set up plays a role, maybe not, but we know how angry we got at some players for failing in the most basic things when we watched them last season. Has nothing to do with formation, just basic football skill.

But we need to unanimously agree that we need better players and we must spend money. Maybe when we change coaches 3 more times in the next 1-3 years, we will stop seeing some nonsense talk on this board and elsewhere, and we can all agree that there is no other way.

If Amorim goes into the new season without significantly improving the team and the results don't favor him, he is solely responsible. He could have walked knowing he can't perform magic

I think the issue with the slow activity in the transfer market is that we don't have anything tangible to offer any we want to buy. We don't have European football to offer them this season. Our usual 'prestige' as a 'big club' is not really there. The 'pull' we used to have as a club before, it's not really there right now. Players we're linked to, to get them here, we'll need to cough out outrageous transfer fees and salaries. But looking at the club's finance, we can't offer that. So what happens?

I'm not making excuse for the people at the club. I want and hope they bring in more players, I don't know how they will do that. But this team needs players in key positions. Time will tell. The transfer market is still open for about two months before it closes, although I would have preferred all the players needed have been brought before pre-season starts.

Is the club not able to identify talents in France, south America, Portugal, Spain etc? Must they go after expensive players? Even players in clubs that are not playing European football o. I don't buy this excuse at all. As usual, they don't want to do the hard work of scouting talents.

With the Dire situation of finances, we had the opportunity to make 100m quid to reinvest in the squad but the manager has decided otherwise.

Forfeiting 100m is a lot in this current realities so it's perfectly normal to share the same big hopes the manager has for Bruno in the current setup.

But the management chose to sidestep right? Now that they have, are there other demands that needs to be met? Are there other things to do to make sure that Bruno fits? Or the conversation ends there?

We can't run away from the reality of our finances. We just have to make sales. But nobody is serious about the players that some here wants us to believe are better than what the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle etc have.

We had a very terrible season. One would think there would be some mad urgency in changing a couple of things in the team. Either the manager is sacked, or new players are bought, while some are asked to look for another club. But what do I know

I think the fees are this high because the club is spreading payments across multiple years. I read somewhere Cunha fee will be paid over 5 years. Don't know how true that is

How come we don't hear about the wages of players signed by other clubs except Manchester United?

Why is United website posting "has reached agreement to sign" on the site when the player has not officially signed the contract? Maybe it is the confidence that the deal is sealed, but it used to be "has completed the signing" with a picture of the player and our Manager.

I even another one in mind, against Brentford I think. But it happened too many times. Some players just too lazy or don't think they need to do more to track their runners. These players may go to other clubs to do better but they just don't want to raise their game here anymore. It's best to let them go. They were like this long before Amorim and are still like this. Now, for those who keep asking if there's any player out there who can replace the ones we have, PSG brought in Pacho from Eintracht Frankfurt, Duoe from Rennes, Neves from Benfica, Kvara from Napoli and look how they have gone on to dominate Europe. Save for Kvara, the rest were not so popular...In fact, 80% of the players in their squad were well-scouted, not the biggest names but efficient footballers...

They quickly shifted from going after big names to recruiting technical yet hardworking players...We don't need the big names, just go out there and sign players who are comfortable on the ball and are ready to work hard...It is not that difficult...

See how Dembele, Doue and Kvara were chasing ball at 4-0 up. Rashford, Garnacho and Hojlund would have been moseying about on the pitch like it was a privilege for them to be in a final

A major issue we have is the mentality. Different coaches have tried to improve the mentality but it's not working, that's why I want most of these players gone. They go elsewhere and start running up and down, but fail to do that here. They're too comfortable here.

I remember a goal we conceded last season where instead of the players chasing down an opponent to stop him from crossing and eliminating any danger first, about three of them decided to stop playing and raise their hands, calling for a foul. We conceded from that cross. That's not a technical or formation problem. It's simple mentality
