Gundogan has 1 assist. He has scored 11 EPL goals (as an AM this season because Pep sees him as one), maybe he is also stat padding. I don't know what the guy is doing sha, It could be the impact of tactics since Pep plays 2 AMs and 1 DM. Anyway, what I know is KDB does more assists and maybe just 10 goals per season.

My point is CMs don't need to post goals and assists. AMs can post assists and some goals while CMs should facilitate play!

Meanwhile, Pep plays 2 AMs and 1 DM, and our manager does almost 3 DMs. That's crazy!

What it means is that if a player is better at getting in positions and delivering the goals, you jump on that. Pep has realized this about Gundogan and he has given him the free role to get in the box even ahead of his attackers. In football these days, you talk about position alongside roles. Players are not limited by positions anymore. If fullbacks are encouraged to get very close to the opposition box, why shouldn't the AM or CM get in there if he has the sense to get in position?

Don't make this a KDB vs Bruno thing. Because nothing stopping us from making it a KDB vs Pogba too

Midfielders (CMs, DMs) are judged by number of passes, the accuracy of passes, interceptions, tackles, overall play, and not goals and assists. The forwards will take care of those. Even AMs should not be scoring lots of goals, but yeah, the game has changed, you see an AM trying to compete with his strikers for goals. Check Liverpool, City, and other top teams in Europe, their midfielders facilitate plays and not drag goals with forwards (also, you wont see proper DMs and CMs dragging assists with AMs and forwards).

Lol guess who City's highest scorer in the epl is? Also guess how many assists he has. Then guess his position on the field

I believe that the combo of Bruno, Pogba and one of McFred would do us a lot of good, if OGS can get his tactics right. We need someone to connect the defence and the attack. MCFred no sabi pass, and Bruno is always competing with strikers, Pogba is the main link.

It is what it is, we need his numbers, but there is every chance that our overall style of play is shit with him (and without a proper CM) even though he is doing double digits in terms of assists and goals.

Many matches with Pogba in the team, we were struggling to create chances. In fact, I'm not sure Pogba has as many assists as goals this season

A coach coaches a group of players. How the players perform and their tactics and results will be used to praise or ciritcize the coach as well as the players. You've joined in criticizing some of our players, and yesterday didn't want Ole given a new contract. So, it's not like you're any different.

Klopp has been criticized in recent times and his players also. Same goes for other coaches. It's not a new thing to ciritcize a coach and/or his players. After all when the players were scoring and winning matches, Ole has been praised and pundits praised how he has stabilized our ream and listed big coaches he has won.

These players can play better than they are playing with a better tactic. No be Ole go see say Martial dey play rubbish but won't eject him from the match and you'd also complain about that? Based on recent style of playing, these players can't challenge City for the title. But I believe we can play better than we're playing now if Ole come up with better style of play.

Besides, that post of mine ended with me talking of poor tactics which points towards Ole. So, I'm basically critizing both Ole and the players.
