McFred n Tom will help in that regard- drift wide and defend while Pogba and Bruno can cover centrally. Or vice versa. There are enough bodies in midfield to deal with that threat.

It worked vs City. We were just stupid enough to concede from a set piece.

Also, unlike against City, Liverpool’s defence is weaker and we can get more chances to score from counters. Rashford, Bruno and Martial will be the runners and should be the ones involved in the counters. Pogba can orchestrate from deep. His long range passes should come in handy.

Also, Rashford should be on the left while Martial (or Cavani ) plays from the right.

A lot of noise about Diallo. It's important he is introduced to the team gradually and protected from the media. I hope the senior players will help him settle and get the numbers he needs to get the media off his back

Actually we played better yesterday than in any of them 3 games that we won. We dominated City over long periods yesterday and we didn't go the ultra defensive route.

Also, you need to consider that to hit teams on counter forward players need to press effectively without expending too much energy. The funny thing is that we pressed City alot yesterday. I still believe in the team but we need to find quick solutions to our defense and how to defend set pieces. We have conceded about 10 goals from set pieces, that is unacceptable!!

We played better but didn't really threaten City. We're not there yet when we can try to match them in keeping the ball, and I don't think we're going to get there. We're more of a counter attacking team, no need to change that to prove a point, especially not in a semi final. We should accept that and use it effectively like we've done in the past when we play big teams. I actually thought we could try to match them but we don't keep the ball enough plus poor off the ball runs. So no need having a change of heart in a semi

They are always going to win the midfield and possession, but we had a way to play them which was successful for us last season.

Our attacking players should be the laziest in the league when it comes to closing down defenders and spaces. I hope Ole does something to increase their work rate

We're creating decent number of chances, among the best in the league, same with goals scored. At the other end, we have been conceding chances and our goals against is not good enough for a team that's challenging for a trophy. RW can't be a priority, not even top 3 positions that needs to be plugged.

Meanwhile the club has invested in some upcoming wingers. I say we nurture them to become a mainstay in the first team by next season. We should forget about Sancho

It is very important we get a fast CM and holding midfielder good on the ball and with tackles as soon as possible.

For now, we have no excuse against the smaller clubs
