As a coach, if you're not binning some of these players immediately or after the first few couple of games, you will end up sacked. A coach that does not bin some of these players will rightly get sacked and he has only himself to blame

It's because they saw us get Martinez, Shaw back and then saw us actually start doing something. We had our biggest win all season just 2 games or so after we got Martinez back.

Injuries cannot be an explanation to what has been happening. We're not the only team having a lot of injuries. Currently the major injuries we have are Martinez, Shaw and Rasmus. Just 3 players. We still have Onana, Varane, Dalot, Casemiro, Bruno, Mainoo, Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, Eriksen, McTom. Most smaller teams that play against us like we're the smaller team will wish to have these players in their team.

In Martinez last 10 games in all competitions, we won just 5. Out of these 5, only one was a comfortable win. Go and verify. Its important to note that the only top teams we played were Arsenal and Bayern, that's 2 matches out of 10.

The biggest indictment on Ten Hag is recruitment. That's the reason a few injuries drastically reduces the technical quality on the field. But thank God the whole structure is changing.

No he won't. He was hired to come and clean up the team and make the team play a certain way. Nobody is dumb enough to expect that and also expect us to compete for major trophies in the first two seasons.

Its delusional to think we will make top 4 playing like this. That can only happen if the other teams around us suffer some serious injuries or point deductions.

We’ve always rely on moments to attack. We’re very transitional. Everything outside those moments depends on the whims of the players.

ETH’s job is to improve our football outside those moments irrespective of who is on the pitch. And he’s really struggling at that.

You're spot on. When ETH came in, I expected him to take 1-2 years to correct the mentality first and train the players the basics. He has done neither, and now the team has gone worse.

Not much difference. I remember I started complaining about the way we played from last season, not just this season. We struggled a lot and only came into life when Rashford picked form after the world cup. The goals covered the nonsense we were playing, but some of us knew there was some disaster around the corner. If we manage to pick up more 3 points with our nonsense football this season, many won't complain, but I already know that's not sustainable as its a system strongly reliant on a player or two picking form while the team continue to play rubbish.

I think the emphasis is on how they play and not the result. That they don't get the desired result when they have injuries is a different conversation. This is more about how the team plays when key players get injured
