One of the reasons why I was against fixing the goal keeping department when we had more pressings challenges is because I figured De Gea was only a small part of the problem. We have signed a good ball playing keeper but we won't reap the advantages he offer us because we have way too many players who are uncomfortable receiving the ball under pressure. You don't even need to be very strong but know how to properly guide the football so you can attract fowls when opponents try too hard to get the ball off you.

In the first half, they were instances where Onana had to delay on the ball to allow our players get for from the marker because he doesn't trust them to give them the ball under pressure. The moments he went long, we lost possession not because his pass was erratic by our forwards just can not win headers or simply do not care to try. One too many times I saw our players mosjudging the flight of the ball...


We need a CM who can get on the ball and dictate the tempo of the game as well as a CB...Greenwood should be reinstated because Rashford is just very annoying as a CF. I wouldn't even mind if Martial is back in the team against Spurs because we were terrible with Rashford as our CF...

Replacing DDG was just a very small part of the solution. But peeps here made it seem like that's the single most important part of the solution.

I once said if we're still in contention for the league with 10 matches to go, ETH should be praised. But looks like it's actually worse than I feared.

We have a recruitment problem and ETH owns that area. Then we also have a coaching problem, also owned by ETH. We don't have bad players. Our players are better than Wolves and we played at Old Trafford. ETH has continued to overlook the midfield

He's not the only one actually. Almost all our players are like that. You can push them off the ball without conceding a foul. Newcastle has cracked that code and it's been working marvelously for them

Case is our only senior DM. He should be covering for our main DM, but he is the main DM. As if that's not enough, the only reasonable senior CM we have is Eriksen. Yet, ETH went to dash Chelsea 60m unprovoked. I weep inside

It seems you have made up your mind to miss the point👍🏾

The point is you can't spend big on a player and not have big expectations. If they don't deliver, that's another conversation. But you must expect something huge from a player that commands huge transfer. The club didn't shell out 100m if they don't think you can repay that.

Because of Antony's huge transfer fee, he has to play as long as he is fit, even at the detriment of other players that can do better if tried.

LOL we even paid 80m for Maguire, lets look for just anybody to pay another 80m for. Better still we can just carry lighter and be burning the money anyhow because we already made a couple of mistakes

The club, manager and sponsors have huge roles to play here. They will be the one to determine anything
