As someone who's married and divorcing now, see my added nuggets:
1. Avoid girls from broken homes. They come with loads of trauma. I learnt the had way.
2. Avoid girls who hate their fathers, even if the man is irresponsible. You'll soon join their fathers' club.
3. Avoid girls who disrepect you. Treat her minutest disrespect as a bloody red flag.
4. Body count matters. Avoid girls with loads of escapades. Avoid girls with unresolved attachment to their exes. Avoid girls who insist on keeping male besties.
5. Lastly, most people don't improve after marriage. Red flags multiply after marriage.

Interesting. There might be an underlying psychological disorder or syndrome. Although some people commit suicide over seemingly minor events, there is usually an underlying condition triggered by the incident. Sadly, the mental health management system in Nigeria is not far from terrible. May the dead rest wherever he is destined.

This is a great news and long overdue. Kudos to the governor. I just hope that those Ministry workers who benefit from the old paper-based, slow, inefficient and corruption prone system will allow this initiative to work. First seek professional assistance. There are many online and offline psychotherapists and counsellors. You need to address the root of your problem instead of focusing on the symptoms. You may be battling with childhood trauma (separated parents, childhood abuse, neglect, or maltreatment, etc.). You may also have some depressive tendencies. I was in your husband's position, and it is, I must say, a terrible place to be.

Bro, I'm gon' be honest with you, all I'm seeing is a man who is about to add more weight on his weak shoulders to his detriment. The problem is that you, like most men, are inclined to pick girls who are lacking in some fundamental areas and require some "work". These men end up picking a girl that is dysfunctional, volatile, emotionally immature, depressed, lazy, poor, traumatized, temperamental, or mildly retarded, with the hope that after improving her life, you will get more love and her absolute loyalty in exchange.
Then, your contribution to her improvement becomes the leverage you use to induce her submission and dependence. This usually does not work out, especially given that you both dont have the same level of emotional maturity or operating at the same wavelength.
At the end, she may pull you down. Again, you don't get to truly know a partner who you have an advantage over until the advantage is gone.

In the matter of relationship, emotional compromise/attachment is men's greatest undoing. My advice: Don't be the looser "nice guy" that dies rescuing the damsel in distress. Be the real and authentic guy that knows and goes for what he wants.

I have a sibling who's suffering from this too. Please visit a good psychiatric hospital. Truly, the drugs they administer (usually Olanzapine or Risperidone or a few others) usually cause them to sleep and eat a lot. But if you look at it, sleeplessness is usually the first sign whenever that episode begins. So she needs to be sleeping well.

Also, forget about all these people that are talking about one alter or the other. It doesn't really help. Let her be using her drugs and be praying for her with faith instead of taking her from one church to another. We learnt the hard way.

Finally, those with schizophrenia don't like taking their drugs, so you guys should find a means to always ensure she takes her medication as at when due. Sudden withdrawal from the drug has its side effect and the relapse is usually terrible.

There are many prominent people including present and ex governors, ex ministers etc that are living with this illness but using their drugs and living a normal life. I just can't mention names here.

Finally, you guys should avoid anything that will trigger her like yelling at her or making her feel less loved.

OP, read this post again. I have nothing much to add. My wife has a similar challenge (schizo-affective disorder). The earlier you seek a good medical solution, the better. Yes, they don't like taking drugs, and are highly illogical, paranoid, etc. Do not discontinue medication for any reason, even when she starts getting well. Mental issues take long to heal and drug discontinuation is gradual. If not, it'll resurface. Again, whether you take her to the church or not, never stop her medication!! Good luck.

I took mine yesterday with no symptoms, only to wake up this morning with tiredness, minor aches and slight fever. These have subsided now.
I took the jab not because I was afraid of Covid-19 given my age, but to not intermediate and pass it on to the elderly ones around, especially those that have refused to get vaccinated, including my mum.
