Motorguru, you are doing a great job here. well-done. More fire to ur burner. Pls, I'm aboit to own my first car woth a budget of 700k to 800k. Someone offered Honda EOD to me @800k, but I've heard negative stories about Honda ball joint pull. Looking @ my budget, which cars would u recommend that have minimal issues. Is the EOD 005/004 okay? Thanks bro. |
I need an advice on a good Nigerian used car that a budget of 700k to 800k max could get. I'm in Abuja. |
Sir Gazzuzz, please advise me on a good Nigerian used ride a starter can get for 700 to 800k. I had Honda Accord 2005 in mind but was seriously dissuaded. |

Greene66:My dear, it's not about how you define it or your seeing a married man arrested for whatever reason. The truth is that our penal code, criminal code and other allied laws are very restrictive in their definition of rape. It has nothing to do with our law enforcement authorities. Have you ever seen a man convicted for raping his wife in Nigeria? A man can be convicted for assaulting his wife (sexually or otherwise) and not for raping her. It cannot happen unless the law is repealed. Irrespective of how we both see it, law is what it is until repealed. There are other things about our laws you may argue against, eg. It's not an offence recognised by Nig. laws to sleep with someone's wife/husband. It's not rape when a man is forcefully penetrated anally by another man. It can come under some other offences but not rape. There is a grave difference btwn law as it is and law as it ought to be. |
I thought you wanted to ask a question instead of advancing an argument. For knowledge sake, rape is impossible to occur in marriage, the same way a man is incapable of being raped by Nigerian laws. Except the law changes, what we call rape sometimes could only pass as assault, defilement (for persons under a certain age) etc. |
Bigsteveg:Bonuses, allowances and benefits are all taxable. See section 3 (b) Personal Income Tax Act. |
praxs:Section 3 (b) of Personal Income Tax Act provides that "any salary, wage, fee, allowance or other gain or profit from employment including compensations, bonuses, premiums, benefits..." are taxable. 13th month is taxable but some organizations don't remit taxes on it. |
Section 3 (a) & (b) of Personal Income Tax Act - INCOME CHARGEABLE - "gain or profit from any trade, business, profession or vocation... (b) any salary, wage, fee, allowance or other gain or profit from employment including compensations, bonuses, premiums, benefits..." @OP, I hope the above cited answers your question. 13th month whether a gift, bonus or allowance is taxable. |
Bigsteveg:Bro, it's taxable according to the Nigerian Law (Personal Income Tax Act). However, so many organizations don't pay tax on it. In fact, some organizations don't pay tax on the total salary which is why some of them have two salary accounts; one for upfronts, another for end of the month. They remit only on the end of the month's salary. |
I was in your shoe. My babe (now ex) wanted to get married at all cost. Early this year, she told me that she must get married this year. She knows how much I earn which to me cannot afford the basic type of life I want for me and my family. She was ready to manage, but I knew the pressure would be too much on me. Finally, I had to let her go, and now she is set to marry sm1 else while I am fully in support. Bro, first put yourself in the girl's shoes. Marriage is what she really desires now and evidently you cannot afford same. The juice is not affording the wedding but taking care of your family needs as a man since you ought not to rely on your woman's earnings. There is no such thing as a perfect match. There will always be a better option. Leave the innocent girl to go. Alternatively, you can discuss with the lady putting your fears on the table. If she is willing to deal, then you can devise a way out together. |
Guy you too stingy oo. You no even try post part of the content. I'll click when my mother's virginity status is confirmed positive. |
The unnecessary details makes your story seem more untrue. However, for one in such circumstance, the best approach is to tell your husband and to further report to the police. Any other approach may result to total loss of trust by the husband when the chips are finally down. |
Class of people you associate with says a lot about your worth. |
Lastanza:Is it not better to use percentage of the income left after removing all recurrent expenses like feeding, transport, home running, etc. This is because you pay your rent from what is left after those expenses. Some people's rent could be 10% of their salary and 70% of their take-home after the above is factored. |
My annual rent is 8% of my annual salary net of taxes and statutory contributions, and 24% of my annual salary net of all other recurrent expenses. |
Some dumb sh!t up there. When does producing a president translate to development? Ask the northerners. The only thing the Igbo's need is just a safe clime... safe for business, safe for living, safety against oppression etc. |
emerged01:Nothing above says that taking alcohol is sinful. |
Situation of my country is becoming worrisome |
It appears you still need to go back to school bro |
GTB trying trying to hide under the facade of anonymous staff. Some things don't add up in the above statement. You claim that Innoson was indebted to you, yet he obtained judgement of N4.7 billion against you. Court is not a place where one can just "obtain" judgment without more...matters are decided on merit. More so, I didn't read where you said that the judgement was fraudulently gotten nor did you say that it was honoured by GTB. |
