Uber has treats drivers so unfairly nowadays. I did this trip from Ikoyi to Addo road yesterday. A trip of about 30km as rider asked us to pass through Freedom Way. Behold, Uber calculated less than 20km. I knew the fare was wrong at destination, but since it was Uber I did not complain to riders. Instead of Uber to do the needful and adjust fare rightly, they one time came up with a reduced fare and later added #198. I didn't agree with this and we are still on the matter.
Guys always calculate your fare on Uber as Uber have failed trips too, one should have a particular range of fare one should get once you start a trip.

I prefer to blow empty back home With VIO on the road, one gat to be careful nowadays esp during the day if one doesn't consider the car at all |

FreeMejoor1: Can i still invest in Uber..is the business still striving up to expectations..i want to purchase two corolla for dis Biz.can i go ahead to do so.. chillex8: Let me give you my sincere opinion here. It's too late to invest. But if you must, you have to drive yourself, or you may never recoup your capital.
QED Let him try with one na and have a short to medium time exit plan if it doesn't work out as expected. The real truth is the business isn't as it used to be. It is still okay at the moment but we can't predict the future; what Uber or Taxify will do tomorrow or next year is beyond us. However, like I said, you may start with one and decide on getting more after few months based on your experience and happenings around you. |

dru23: Point it out bro ...are u talking about the Yen ... I was off by $32.00 , the other guy was so off, he was confusing China and Japan ... and funny enough in Japan ,if u want to change your yen to dollars, the best rate u will get is at the Airport in Japan.. Now the rate I use that I was off by $32.00 ,you will never get that rate at all .. So at the end I might be off by maybe $20.00 or so .... I'm now sure you don't understand. Yes, the other person mixed the two currencies but no one is talking about the marginal $32 but rather your initial post where you said dollar & yen are almost equal only for you to later state that a yen is about a hundredth of a dollar. Deedee quoted those posts. |

TheCar: NOPE. POS is not like ATM.
Their are costs involved. Someone bought the POS, someone is paying for telco network and someone is paying for paper roll used.
Although for the cardholder, it is FREE. However, the merchant had to borne some cost for successful transactions done on POS terminal.
So as a Cardholder, you can use any bank POS terminal without charges. Interbank charges only applies to ATM transaction. Nah...I meant the POS holder will be charged if it is interbank (they don't charge ATM card owners irrespective) per transaction. I don't know if they now charge same bank (POS & card) per transaction. I don't know about other monthly or whatever charges tho |

You need to worry about your family instead of you coming at me ...That reality might not sink in now ,but surely it will sink in bro.. I wish you love and happiness.... Peace Really? TheCar: POS charges can't be 10%.
POS transactions are charged at 0.75% with max Charge at 1,200.
Meaning they can never charge you beyond 1,200 per transaction. And I think it is only for interbank. That is, no charges if the ATM & POS are from the same bank |

Its either uber is good or bad ...make up your mind Dru23 doesn't still understand what people are saying. pope191: I'm in sifia pain right now, one stupid rider just cancel away my 900 bonus after doing 5 trips, she cancelled 3 times all because she couldn't reach me the first time, I called her with my other line and yet she said I most call her with my registered number. On the 4th request, she became soft. Ndo...she made you bear the consequence of stupid Taxify conditions (a victim of circumstance). If you told her what her cancelling did to you, she would say the bonus is small na but she no fit let go of #200 balance |
