Hello guys, I'm just a normal guy brought up in Christianity but whom during years of growing up started noticing and experiencing things I was made to believe were wrong while I was young in Christianity. Things like double standards, hypocrisy, being judgemental, not to mention but a few. I discovered religious standards are compromised by the same religious people every single day and I had to use moral standards most times to put things in other. Now this is my question.... Giving options to raise your kids by moral or religious standard, which will you choose to raise them by and why? I'lll pick moral standard anyday because I believe it's very specific and can't be manipulated like religious standard. But what will be your choice and why? |
hot n cold: What the hell is Nairaland turning to?You are menstruating, you run to NL,you use the toilet, you run to NL,a guy says Hi on your street, you are here again, your are in a crowd at night,a guy pulls down your pant, parted your bum and insert his d*ck without your knowledge, only for him to cum before you just realised what happened, you still come here to tell us.Dude, consult the dictionary on the meaning of forum then come back to apologize for your ignorance and myopic reasoning. |
And you didn't see any other logo to copy asides PlayStation's logo? I forsee long long years of legal tussle, bankruptcy and jail time cos you won't be able to pay the amount they'll ask for. |
Madam calm down. You already know how nairalanders can be. So far you are not making yourself happy at the expense of someone else's happiness or comfort. Just try not to get addicted. That's the only downside. |
Didn't know that. All I heard was he's a strict muslim and not into that kind of thing. Your story sounds doubtful btw. He's an imam, why would he be giving thanksgiving in church? Any pictures that corroborate this?
Nah... I'm not forcing you to believe me, just stating my point. |
Aregbesola was in a church? He might have found it a strange experience for him.
There's nothing strange there to him, this isn't his first time of being in a church. At least he did his thanksgiving in church after he won his mandate at the court of appeal. |
Taiwo20: You need help. Can't you see that Baba Fash is giving Aregbe his own personal copy while Aregbe is refusing niYou guess and you are concluding based on your guess... now who needs help? |
lynpetra: Abeg, the woman is not telling the truth.Make she go sit down.I hate women who treats other people's kids bad.My mom self hardly shouts and maltreats at our maids when am home,I wud shout back at her, bang d door hard and leave the house vexedHow did you conclude the woman isn't telling the truth? You really don't know how mischievous those helps can be especially when they've been caught in a tight corner and know you have a name to protect. Fan her all through the night? That's just so unbelievable considering even petty traders can afford generators let alone a politician. Even rapists don't get flogged on the di.ck let alone a petty domestic thief. Lets try to be rational and not just conclude the lady is faulty based on precedence of ogas maltreating their maids. |
The rate at which Nigerians are becoming dumb these days is seriously alarming. Now people can read convos through pictures all in the name of being the first to post silly topics. Did you even consider there might be someone behind Aregbesola whom Fashola might be trying to pass the book to and maybe Aregbesola was just waving at someone else? Besides wetin concern you with how dem dey treat theirselves? Abi Aregbe complain give you? Nigerians need to start being more critical and less dumb. No information at all is better than wrong information. |
yung da maz: Am nt judging buh ma gyy u are doomedCan't someone just have his opinion and be respected for it? His damnation/salvation isn't affecting yours so why judge him? Dude, learn to respect the opinions and choices of others. |
Seriously barely over N1000 for a logo is an insult to any and every designer. You would have stood a better chance if you appealed for a free logo. This is demeaning. |
@Chancery... can you kindly combine all your posts to a single thread since they are all talking about the same thing. Thank you. |
hayzed14: idiot photo edited by camera 360 appThank you jare... been trying to remember the name of the app. Christians/Christianity/religions and their propaganda. Below is the picture of the same angel watching law and order with me. Guess I am favored. ![]()

The story sounds somehow. Why didn't she overdose in the car and had to lock herself in the boot? That doesn't sound rational. |
Symphony007: and apparently you are too dull to realize that these image were taken by multiple sources and have reproduced and used by countless platforms that it becomes next to impossible to trace it's origin. That is a big difference from newspapers publishing a story that i originally posted. With the exact heading and the exact three pictures in the same bloody format. It was too easy to find and i once again urge you to find the origin of those photo's or remain an ignorant loud mouth.Obviously what they did was wrong but the reason you gave above for note giving credit to owners of the pictures isn't credible enough. That's why google will direct you to a site where the picture is when you go in search of pictures. Even if you cannot acknowledge the original owners of the pictures because you don't know them, you can provide the link of sites you got the pictures from. I'm not blaming anyone for anything, we are all guilty of these offences but don't try acting like they are bullying you. I believe you should have contacted them in private and if they insist on not doing anything wrong, then you make it public 'only' to prove your point and not by trying to slander them. |
Garri the 1st: If I say I'm surprised then I'm a hypocrite.... Stuffs like this occur in every corner of the country...even in private secondary schools and its been like that for decades....God bless you! |
King of Photoshop? With this crap? Nigerians and their unending appreciation of mediocrity. |
I really didn't see many grammatical errors in the guy's post, he just decided to use the everyday chat format to type and the perfect people won't let him be. I wonder why you are not dangote yet with your impeccable use of English. The arrogance and insensitivity to a fellow man is just sad. I pray people don't use your problems to make jest of you in future. |
Dollarjunkie: Oga seize this your bruhaha for people you can deceive. With all the above you listed, can they be compared to Encarta software?? With how much can that software be developed with? Are you telling me they buy separate software for the 3600 opon imos? I personally can handle the contract of developing the opon imo software with less than half a ten million naira and have it installed in all the opon imo. Aregbe is smart only to some set of people. I don't blame you shaaa cuz you are really getting a good pay to cover these guys online. When you started, I actually thought you were the smart one... Once again, I am disappointed. |
I smell mischief here... Point of correction, the cost of supplying opon-imo by the government of the state of osun isn't N8.6bn... Rather, thats the amount it will be saving the state on the purchase of textbooks. I really don't care about every other thing being said, we are all entitled to our opinions. Just learn to get your facts right before attempting to mislead people on the internet. |
I'm not married or close to doing it any time soon but i think i should be able to add a thing or two. Sometimes its not what people say thats the problem, its how they say it. I'm sure if her husband is being diplomatic about the whole issue, this problem won't arise. If he sat her down and made her understand his reasons for his decision gently, she'll understand and this won't be so much of an issue. She's reacting this way cos she feels her "marriage and human rights" are being trampled upon which in all fairness is true. They gave birth to the kid together and should make joint decisions in the kid's best interest and not their families' or ego's interest. For those saying this is a minor issue and shouldn't cause so much fuss... please ask people who get divorced how it got to that stage, they won't remember cos its from what people term "silly" like this. As much as the OP might want to deny it, this little "silly" issue is giving her big concerns and making her view her hubby in a different light. Now she's gradually having some resentments and she's wishing some things were different. I just wish you guys had hinted at this before marriage but the deed is done. Just try to always be calm and hold nothing in. Discuss whatever makes you uncomfortable with him and you guy should sort it. God will watch your kid and help him grow to be the best he can be. |
