Passerby2:
Hi everyone, I've been a silent reader here... Pls, I have a question.
I and hubby have started our EE journey, IELTS done and our CRS is about 481. We can't enter the pool yet cos our document evaluation isn't ready although it's being processed to be due around April. Do you think i can get my work reference letter now or do I wait till I get into the pool?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 7:51pm On Feb 18, 2020

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 3:07pm On Feb 18, 2020
My sister you are just right on that, but one thing is, God has a way of taking care of his own, some will have it smooth to canny while some would have it rough. Someone I know very Well had it so rough to canny, he couldn’t go with family because of age and all, got there and God gifted him his dream job (oil and gas)in less than 3 weeks after landing, my nigga is doing fine in Edmonton (Alberta) after 3yrs of hard hustle to Canada.

Family joining soon cox money is not the problem. The morale of this is, just do your part when your time comes you’ll know it. God is never late. As they say it will definitely end in praise.

BlestHanneSSG:
Hmmmmmmm....

This journey though, for some of us, what the eyes have seen, the mouth doesn't even know where or how to start saying it, let alone, saying it all!

It's well..

mine was done like that, my institution sent a copy of degree certificate and transcript to WES and all was fine. all thanks to UI 45days later ECA was ready.

Chukwuemekatehi:
I gave my certificate to the officer that processed my transcript and it was sent along with my transcript in the same envelop. Hope this won't cause any harm or raise a redflag? Has anybody done WES through this medium? Thanks.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 6:01pm On Feb 16, 2020
Answers in blue, help yourself and study page 1, your questions show that you have not been there. all the best.
Joyflexxy:
Goodevening house,
Please I want to know which document I will send to wes, is it my transcript or my Bsc degree certificate for evaluation? Send both
And am I to do course to course evaluation or document by document? Yes to bold
Thanks.

not at all, it only looks convincing enough for VO to accept that the money is actually yours and not borrowed.... this is it, when you get a gift deed from a family member and you invest it, surely the name on investment would be yours which is convincing enough for anyone to know you didnt borrow the POF but rather it was gifted to you.

in other words, for instance your POF was from sales of property, you dont have to invest it to convince a VO of the lump sum in your account, so far you have the right docs of sales of the property to explain the lump sum. it can remain in your acc as raw cash till you get your PPR

SapphireFort:
Is there a law against POF investment for those using a gift deed?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 10:03am On Feb 11, 2020
YES
opeoyek:
Do they accept fixed deposit
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 10:02am On Feb 11, 2020
can you imagine, that POF thing am not investing anything, it will stay raw cash in my account till i get my PPR. though anyone using a gift deed might not want to do that.

ednut1:
those things have casted. FD is about 1 % now. Mutual funds like 6.5 and dropping.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 8:24am On Feb 11, 2020
why not fix the money? or invest in treasury bill

opeoyek:
I will be doing a gift deed, just that I read some people had issues with using money market funds as POF
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 4:13pm On Feb 10, 2020

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 6:13am On Feb 10, 2020
Select all the province... thats the best thing to do. Don’t limit your options.

emeify1:
Can we select more than one province in the EE profile, not ALL, just particular provinces in case of namination. I hear it can be done but I dont know how. Anyone?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Re: Immigrate To Canada Through AIPP Part 1 by Eraytee: 3:42pm On Feb 07, 2020
geosciences job is scarce to see via AIPP, those of you with social sciences experience are more at advantage when it comes to jobs in-demand. we suffer this deficiency up to PNP from other provinces. geologist in the house would understand better. we are so limited to options.

Canadachick:
This is not actually true I must say. AIPP is not sector bias, meaning that an employer can employ from any sector. Also the job must be full time job and not seasonal. Therefore, pay is according to the standards demanded for whatever sector or job the individual is employed.

In my case, I got a managerial job full time

Welcome to the DIY thread grin page 1 is your 2nd spouse for now, and just to put you forward.. that spouse with MSc is better as PA... go and digest page 1 and come back for clarification if any. Welcome

get2udex:
Hello, I just found this page today, and would appreciate if someone can offer me some detailed help.

I was able to make an 8.0 IELTS, Bachelor's degree, 4years working experience, my partner (we are doing this together not married though) has 3years experience in the UK, and a Master's degree, she has siblings in Canada.

I have experience in Software tech, Business Development and Manufacturing.

Honestly, I don't seem to have a low level understanding about how the process works.

I need some help and explanations, Please.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Re: Immigrate To Canada Through AIPP Part 1 by Eraytee: 8:23pm On Feb 04, 2020
I noticed AIPP is not for professionals with high wages, my NOC is not in demand in any of the provinces in AIPP, this route is not for all...

DAramis:
Thanks for the words of encouragement. It is not like I have given up yet, just wish to explore other streams of the migration obtainable under the country.

My ECA document are still being processed.
It will end in praises.

Its the same account am in a similar situation, I have 2 visas denied back in the day, presently my EE profile is still in same online account on IRCC website. Go ahead and create your profile with your previous account.

oyukuwife:
Hello house. Please I need professional advice from you all. I had applied for masters last year and got denied. Now my eca and Ielts will be ready next week and I want to enter the pool. Do you advice I create another account or I use the previous account I used to apply for a study permit that was refused?

Is it ok to just pay for application fee now and later pay for right of resident permit fees? Has anybody done that before?

Congratulations @puffpuffdrama go and prosper. In other news, we don’t encourage the use of agent here.... they do nothing for you. Anyone who can ace ielts and get ECA done is fit to DIY way. 95% success rate via DIY is more than enough proof.

It will end in praise.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 7:29pm On Feb 02, 2020
thats the answer to your question as replied by @didislash
didislash:
You won't see a place to upload your ECA. When you are asked if you completed your degree in Canada, you select no.. And then you are asked if you have evaluated your degree, once you select yes, it automatically asks for the evaluation body you used and also request you to fill in your ECA number
Collineno:
I have my ECA and I have created my profile but didnt see a place to upload my ECA.

Please how do I upload the ECA from WES??
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 4:12pm On Feb 02, 2020
if you have your ECA create your profile now and be in the pool, register for the next available test date and give it your best.

Collineno:
I am hurt emotionally.

Please I need your advice on this. My IDP MOD, IELTS result is LRSW - 7, 7, 7.5, 7 and with this result, my CSR score will be 408. However, if I had 8 in listening my CSR score will be 472.

Do you advise I remark listening module? Is there a chance it will change to 8? My birthday is coming up in two months time consequently, I will drop by 5 points.

Please advise I need to get ITA before my birthday...

Well LOE is not a must so far she has the necessary documents to proof her spouse PR status.

NaijaGoingMaple:
Thanks for the clarification that she can apply on her own and not necessarily spousal sponsorship.

She would also submit LOE on spouse's residency status since it'll be unaccompanying.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 12:52pm On Feb 02, 2020
Actually if the husband lands before her, she can actually apply, have seen such case, it’s not a must they come through sponsorship, she would even claim points from the spouse in that case. So as you have said, a professional advice is needed. I do understand them because its not that easy to be 4 months post AOR and decline. If all plays out for them, it cannot be termed misrepresentation because it’s never against the law for a spouse whose husband has landed and become PR to apply for her PR without being sponsored.

It is well.

NaijaGoingMaple:
On the face of it, it's legal but that's somewhat gaming the system. If and when the husband gets the PR, I'm not sure she can even apply but rather sponsorship by the husband. The husband is already a PR holder and she may not apply as unaccompanying. Either the husband sponsors her after getting the PR or the current app is declined and they use the PNP.

However, the advice of a professional solicitor is advised here.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 11:49am On Feb 02, 2020
Thanks for the input, actually this is what they plan to do, the husband’s VO is ottawa, the wife is not in haste at all... no plans of even landing this year according to them. Her nomination certificate is valid for 6 months or so not sure. The only thing I don’t like about this is that, her application will deprive another person an ITA, if luckily the husband gets PPR soon, He plans to land asap while the wife is planning to land next year. She said she won’t accept the next ITA probably buying time. She has 2 months to submit or decline so if they get lucky PPR shows for the husband. All might still be fine.

Kekereekun123:
she is unaccompany in her husbands applications which is still processing. Then now having her own application. Ideal thing should be the husband notifies ircc she wants to accompany. They will recompute his scores and if it fall below ita score it gets rejected. She can also wait till he finishes his own application before applying you. They should stop playing with ban
