if its with them already there is nothing to do than to wait for your evaluation

tibayo1:
Good evening everyone.
Is it compulsory I send my documents via hello fax? My certificate is with Wes already and they're reviewing it.

Erigo23:
Pls urgent question. If i get Nigeria Pcc before I travel for holidays and submit my application while abroad and return back to Nigeria to update my travel history to cic do I need to provide another nigeria police report? Even though the first one I sent is still valid

it doesn't affect you in any way, after marriage just inform IRCC, they might have to request proof of citizenship from your spouse. nothing would change except your status (Married).

Phoenix1989:
I will be marrying before landing. However, since she is Canadian, does it affect me in any way? Are extra documents going to be requested?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 3:00pm On Jan 29, 2020
if you get married before you land in Canada, definitely you have to tell IRCC, but if you getting married in Canada after landing you don't have to tell them before then because your status would change automatically there in Canada as this will be documented by Canada govt.

Phoenix1989:
Hello Everyone,

I have gotten my COPR; however, I will be getting married in February. My fiancee is Canadian. Do I need to inform IRCC or submit additional documents?

Canny20fam:
Good morning seniors,
I am in the process of the canny journey but I have two queries. Please I will need suggestions on how to go about it.
Firstly, I and hubby only have a wedding certificate from a religious institution , no court certificate, but we have a daughter already. Do we have to go for the court marriage now considering the fact that we have been married for three years now, and if we decide it do it now, will it not raise eyebrows. You don’t need another certificate, the religion wedding certificate is enough

Secondly, my husband's evaluation certificate came with only his surname and first name, his second name was omitted . Do we have to sign an affidavit for that, though he is not the principal applicant. Yes one and same person affidavit is ok

Thank you all

dont worry you'll get it soon, keep tabs with your submitted app by checking your profile, BIL is usually between 30-45 days (it might even be longer depending on individual case) after AOR. you are still within the above stated norms, you should get it after medical pass.

olaniyisal:
Anyone with 2nd Jan as AOR.
I am yet to received BIL request or MEP
This is the email I got from CIC on Thursday.
Anyone with such trend before.

Ok good, what about you just submit your overseas account for POF, if they ask about the lump sum then include the naija acc to explain it, good thing is that the money had been in your overseas acc for more than 3 months. You are good to go. They might not ask you for explanation if you submit 6 months SOA, and if they do just follow the backup plan.

pointmarshal:

Hmmm yes you are right! So here is the history of the funds - money paid into NGN account then I transferred to FX account overseas.

As POF, I plan to submit overseas account statement in that last 6 months and NGN account statement showing how the money moved to overseas account. What about if I explain this is savings transferred from my NGN account to overseas account?

My concern is the lump sum, you are suppose to explain the lump sum because am sure they’ll ask. If you definitely have a way to it now then I think you should put it forward before they ask you for explanation.

pointmarshal:

Yes it is really! I’ve been confused too. But I have other sources of income here and there so I don’t even have to spend it for another 6 months or so. I’m counting on the VO to ask me to show this money is available after submitting my application. Is this reasonable?

Thanks for your response
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 9:16am On Jan 26, 2020
This is a dire situation though, IMO it might raise some eyebrows because the primary aim of that money is not for your immigration process but study purpose, a curious VO might reject this fund as it’s for a different purpose primarily. Others should weigh in their opinions.

pointmarshal:

Hello house,

I could not fix my POF as advised previously by @Eraytee. However, I’m planning to explain that the funds which have been in my account for about 3 months now, was paid to me to support my studies and I plan to use part of it towards my PR application. Is this explanation good enough?

@bold is the word, the game is tough but all we can do is keep our hopes alive!!!

After they expanded their occupation in demand in September 2019 with plenty people in the pool now? I doubt 60 can fetch ITA.. even people on 65 points are worried..

well said bro except @bold is wrong, the minimum score to qualify you for SINP is 60 points, am a candidate in their pool. it will end in praise for us all.

ednut1:

This is just like a case of OND graduates doing jamb instead of direct entry. Its a game of numbers. The federal has over 86k slots per year. Pnp has 67k both oid and ee based. How many people can meet the requirements of pnp. For many you need job offer for some its random selection.
Manitoba- must have relatives there. Sinp- Education must match , your noc must be in demand and also score 69 points or more. How many can meet it For AIpP where do you wanna get job offer . Some people with ppr never see job why should an employer overlook them and come for you in faraway nigeria that maybe use 1 year to get the PR. If you check nairaland you won't find more than 3 people who have been able to crack aipp.

What stage are you presently? If you are post-ITA go ahead and submit your application. When you renew your passport you will inform IRCC via webform.

Collineno:
I have an important question to ask. Can I apply even when my passport is about to expire in 5 months?
What is the minimum passport validity before applying for PPR??

I went through the last 6-8 pages and I can see there is nothing tangible about it, it’s either a fight over page 1 or misleading information. Its so sad that the newbies don’t know the effort and time dedicated to cook up that wonderful page 1.

I won’t be surprised if by the end of this part there won’t be a page 1 anymore because there’s no point putting it up if people find it offensive when directed to it. The thread is loosing its value bit by bit. Well las las we will all be alright. Its better to be passive for now.

PS: if making a personal research via search bar/google is a biggie for you, and you want to relocate to Canada, please change this before you enter that society else, your lagging behind go long like third mainland bridge.

It will end in praise.

so annoying, people are not just open to knowledge, there is a guideline on how to edit a post on page 1, i bet that's the least they would want to find out, pressing issues of life is so difficult for many to even type in the search bar not to talk of editing a PPR post... well we'll all be alright las las
