Amandacanny:
Good day house. Pls I need to edit my profile to "spouse accompanying" . I can't seem to find where to do it from in my EE profile. Anyone that has an idea should kindly point me in the right direction. Thanks

you can do that by following these steps:

A. after login click "check full app status"
B. at the right corner click "View your profile"
C. this takes you to the page where you submitted your profile. click "modify family information"

see attached below.

Twinney:
There's no place to put that info in your EE profile. You can only do that when submitting your application postITA

go ahead because this pandemic of covid-19 virus would pass soon. be proactive by doing your part of the process (IELTS&ECA). ielts had been put on hold in so many European countries for now.

I'm really worried about the future of canada immigration (express entry and others) with this Covid19. I'm about to pay for my transcript...and i dont know if i should go ahead or not. it is well ooo

but is she your sister? if NO you cant claim point.

ProfessorJim:
Hello house, My mum's sister, my aunty, is a Canadian citizen and all her children, my cousins, are all citizens. Can I use this to gain additional points since the CRS tool says, brother or sister? If yes, how do I go about it?

why wait for hard copy wen all you need is just the pdf of your report that is available in your online profile.

Mirian91:
Please I am worried and would appreciate if I am clarified on this issue. My WES report has been ready since 15 November 2019. I was not aware that I need the hard copy report as the mail said that the report has been sent to IRCC, not until last week a friend of mine said that I have to scan it post ITA. I remember I input my house address too in the course of registration. I'm confused, I have sent a mail to WES and have gotten no response yet.

yes of course, spouse just needs to write a letter of consent stating that the fund is available to you and for the purpose of your immigration plan.

emeify1:
Please can POF be in PA's spouse's account and would that be eligible? If not, how can it be resolved please.

money investment certificate must carry the name of the applicant (if single) or in the spouse name if married. they'll question her POF.

My brother congratulations again, you made a valid point, I officially started this race late 2016, we are still here and with great assurance that this very day of announcement (PPR) will come.

Everyone here should never have that thought that Canada is not for you just because you failed ielts or a delay in ECA/POF. I passed my 8th and 9th attempt at ielts. Never give up, hang in there and we’ll celebrate with you.

PS: while waiting/working on the Canada journey make sure you are moving forward in your life. It will definitely end in testimony grin

ednut1:
congrats we have a similar story, multiple ielts . i started in 2017 too when i registered for the wrong ECA with IQAS. sometimes you would feel this waka is not your destiny. for those thinking of giving up please dont. if IELTS is holding you seek help abeg.

Thanks for the clarification, I purposely ignored the post, I referred her to page 1 and she said its not detailed enough(for real lipsrsealed sad) Na to waka pass i have my own hurdle to cross... who no sabi find information for this journey go hear am.

SurveyorD:
Aunty, there is no way you would have read every links on page 1 without knowing what to do, page 1 of all the parts contain basic information on migration to Canada.

Most of the people here are westernised in their thinking (DIY), they will not tell you (or mentor you) on anything that can be easily accessed.

simply digest page 1, you might not even ask any question till you get PPR. its that detailed grin grin

lexyj123:

please i need a mentor. if you cant volunteer, please dont laugh at me.
i can see guys here just completing NYSC (only Bsc) without siblings in canada having about 460 plus CRS how come? even with maximum score in IELTS it should not be possible ordinarily.

i did my self assessment with Msc, and 10 years work experience plus assumed conservative average band of 7.5 in IELTS and got a CRS of 431.

maybe they evaluate Bsc and SSCE to get maximum points, is this the secrete? please somebody should mentor me here. kindly signify here so i can contact you i dont just want to release phone contacts here.

The last time i read about express entry was in 2013 and since then a lot of things have changed. e.g the required/ wining CRS score then was around 350 plus.
i am back now. i flipped through previous threads by search of keyword but am still missing somethings.

kindly help me.

please this is totally wrong, make your research very well before giving advice, what you stated is never a CIC rule. biko modify and try to read more so you dont end up confusing applicants and even more yourself. it will end in grin

Precisionlanre:
Bro, depending on how long ago uve been married.
My strong advice is to decline the ITA and wait for the next one just because your application will be smooth and stress free. If ur wife can also apply as an individual applicant, u guys can do this seperately but if not, u are playing with a seperation of no less than 2 years if u apply via spouse route for her after PPR.

If u decide to add her to this ITA, u have to go get married again post ITA and you will get ADR that can spoil the application if not answered correctly. I know someone who added spouse after ITA and got ADR for pictures, phone conversations, whatsapp messages, wedding pictures etc all to prove that the relationship isnt a sham one. All of this definitely slowed down the PPR time.

But no 2 applications are the same cos u could decline and get another ITA and processing will take longer than expected as well.

I think u should think this through and weigh all your options. Settle for the less stressful path. Congrats on your ITA

there is absolutely nothing to be sad about, if spouse accompany you would give you 470, then its safe to add her back. according to your post, your score after adding her post ITA meets the requirements of the invitation round in terms of point (470 cut off) and tie-break rule. the VO would re-calculate your CRS and for sure you meet all the requirements. consider yourself a lucky person. it will end in praise. biko add your spouse

Uchboggy:
ITA at last but with a mixed feeling for me and my wife.

Our profile as a couple was 468 since October last year so she wrote ielts last month and added 2 points to the score making it 470. My profile was expiring on the 21st of this month so this was the last draw before expiration.

Initially we had agreed to see what this score was then if it didn’t get to 470 today then I will go alone unaccompanied(crs of 475). But because of the anxiety and tension and uncertainties we had to change our mind yesterday and agreed that I go unaccompanied. Now draw comes out and it’s 470.

I was happy to see ITA and was angry that we didn’t wait.

My source of consolation now is accepting it as the will of God

Please I need a link to the WhatsApp group for married people going without their spouse

Thanks for your response.

I uploaded only the pink one because I saw it somewhere here that it was sufficient. I really hope it’s fine.
This is not necessary, go through the PPR stories of people recently and even of old, pink copy is more than enough.

You can raise a case enquiry and just upload all....
