Ok then, many updates have occurred since I created my profile, all good that you were able to do it..... that's the most important thing grin

Itzpearlz:
Okay. I edited mine yesterday using those steps, it wasn't locked and the update was accepted.
Before responding to the OP too, I tried same steps and it opened for editing.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 11:19am On Jan 03, 2020
you cant edit from there its locked in, check the screenshot i posted above. modify family information is where the change can be made.

Itzpearlz:
Under View the applications you submitted,
Click Check full application status.

Go to VIEW YOUR PROFILE,
On PERSONAL INFORMATION, click Update form.
Then select FAMILY,
You'd see two questions: One asking how many family members you're coming with, and the Second asking how much you're coming with.

eduevolutionnow:
Hello Guys is there anywhere i can get the IELTS materials?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee:
No you cant edit from there, see attached SC, when you get to stage 3, you will see this. that is where you'll make the change.

Mummydd:
Thanks but I couldn't see any modify family information button. The only option was to edit where it said, 'is this person accompanying you to Canada'? And that one sef no gree click cos it's locked. I am considering deleting the profile and recreating another one, or is there any other option left? Anyone with relevant experience biko comment

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 5:08am On Jan 03, 2020
When you login

1. Click “check full application status
2. At the right corner you will see “View your profile “ click this.
3. The page that comes after doing the above (2). You will see “modify family information

Do what you have to do and submit. I hope this helps.

Mummydd:
Goodday everyone.
I have already created my Express entry profile with my spouse accompanying, but I want to remove him since he's not yet interested in migrating and removing him will also boost my scores and likely get me an ITA. Pls how do I update this on my EE profile? I have tried to do so severally and haven't been able to. Kindly assist my gurus
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee:
It is never a must, 95% of people that got PPR on this thread has no job offer. Job offer is just an additional point Go and check their PPR stories most of them didn’t have job offer.

Arlanda:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html

Have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 11:28pm On Jan 02, 2020
And where did you read that? @bold is not a criteria for EE, programs like AINP or RNIP are the ones that requires a job offer. EE you dont need a job offer to be eligible for it.

Arlanda:
The federal skilled Express entry looks somehow complicated

Is it compulsory one must get a job offer in Canada before eligibility
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 5:41pm On Jan 02, 2020
yes sure, but previously we have seen the instance of updating it and some lost their profiles in the process. this have known before creating mine, my POF is still above the new limit.

Itzpearlz:
If you had the previous POF limit on your profile, you can update without it affecting your ITA chances.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 4:24pm On Jan 02, 2020
This is the period when some profiles would become ineligible because of the updated POF, as always advised previously, always make sure the amount stated in your profile is a bit above the set limit by IRCC to avoid losing your profile. tie-break rule is key in this journey.

Your listening score is low, you need atleast 8 in Listening to be competitive in the pool. Rewrite it. All the best.

SonsOfLiverpool:
Guys please can I get ITA with the attached score? I thought listening has to be at least 8 before I am accepted?

Please I need to know oh before I register for next exam.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 9:12am On Dec 27, 2019
Oh if that is the case just leave it in FX. If it’s possible to fix that amount please go ahead and do that. You should be ok.

pointmarshal:
Many thanks for your prompt response. The problem is that the money is already in FX and that means I will be losing significantly transferring back to NGN and then back again. Please do you have any other suggestions?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 4:17am On Dec 27, 2019
Any of you can be the PA, you guys should write ielts 1st and whoever ace it better could actually be the PA. Page 1 is your second bible for now. Detailed information about your journey seats there. All the best.

Lagoscooldude:
Hello beautiful people,

Happy holidays. Myself and my wife are planning to commence or Canada immigration come 2020 and I would like to know what our chances are like.

Me: 30 years (31st birthday in June 2020), 5 years work experience. M.sc

My wife: 28 (29th birthday in may 2020) 3 years experience as a freelance researcher/writer, completing PhD by July 2020.

Other useful tips will be appreciated as well. Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 3:52am On Dec 27, 2019
In order to save you the hassles of explaining the source of that fund, transfer your POF to one of your parents, let them send it to a different account you have different from the initial one you transferred from (am assuming you have more than one acc). Do a gift deed of this amount and invest in either TB, fix deposit etc. this would solve your issue easily. Attached transfer receipts, gift deed, investment certificate and letter on non-indebtedness from your bank. You’ll be ok.

pointmarshal:
Hello house,

I have got an ITA and I have some concerns about my proof of funds. I actually have a lot more than required but the funds are largely from my scholarship which is paid in lump-sum annually. I have had the required amount for about 3 months now. Do you think this is going to be a problem?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 7:49pm On Dec 26, 2019
Chai it’s quite painful but you are closer to ITA than you think. Wait it out, it will end in praise.

achmed1:
It's been annoying wait for me. Entering the pool with 471 only to lose 5 points in November due to age...and now endless wait.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 5:50pm On Dec 26, 2019
no one can actually know that, but if we have subsequent back-back draws it would go below that

achmed1:
Guys...what are the chances of the score touching 466 in the first quarter of 2020?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 11:13am On Dec 26, 2019
@bold is wrong, the original poster discovered he claimed Canada experience instead of foreign experience. CRS and EE profile gives same scores, people here only get it twisted while using the CRS tool. The moment I saw the post i knew something was wrong.

alphaNomega:
Shebi I pointed this out and some of you here doubted me. The CRS gives a higher score than the actual EE profile. This is another case, though the score discrepancy here is too much. He must have missed some details.
