You can call your friends and gather "In Jesus's name" and learn the word. Offerings is unnecessary. We should give at our will remembering that our reward is in heaven.

They the CBN are doing this out of selfish interest, they want to force BDC to deposit their forex into Nigeria,Was it the fault of the BDC Nigeria forex regime is in shambles? why not draft more transparent policies that truly address the real issues.
They forget that this part of the policy only targets and affects people living abroad no one else.
While this stupid policy is in place the forgot to address the following
For BDC to transport their physical cash into Nigeria
1, They need to move large volumes of forex in real-time this increases the cost
2, There is an Insurance premium to be paid
3 There is security to be paid
4 Their tax will increase since they are moving more than $10k
5, Those BDC still won't deposit their money at the bank cos the policy does not create room for that
Where are we with all this? simple. The availability of forex to be paid to remitted funds still lies at the house of the CBN that is if they have enough forex to meet the needs, we know this is false as they don't so what's the real aim of this?
ANSWER.Once you are receiving a large amount you are coaxed into receiving your funds at local currency and painfully it has to be at CBN rate, not world rate. This was why I said it was selfish.
Now for those of you who don't remit money, won't understand this principle but that's the underlying fact. So Until the FG/CBN have enough forex to back our International transactions we are at square one or even worse!

If I understand the policy, it seems wise. But I guess if you're moving smaller amounts of money it may make it more cumbersome. When you transfer with one of those apps they give you the Bank rate which is about ~390. Getting money from a Dollar account you can then trade it for ~470. If you didn't have a Dom account, probably a good time to get one set up. btw does anyone know if they are allowing Dom to Dom transfers (same bank) again? thx.

I think I know what you mean. I made a decision to use the full length. at the time my reason was to save the cost of an iron bender. I was told it would be stollen but I said nahhhh God is watching � and it remained untouched. But guess what those extensions were up to the top lintels and the price of 16mm almost doubled at the time of us doing the top. So my not so smart thinking turned into a money-spinner for me.

I just had to reply because you could be either Garba Shehu or Emiefele, operating under the illusion that the USD is the standard for transactions everywhere, all around the world, so USD transactions will be seamless globally.

The answer is a clear no... I tried to send money just recently on multiple occasions to Nigeria and it was not possible because my bank cards rejected the transaction, I was informed I have to open an account that allows dollar transactions since Nigerian transactions only accept US Dollars or get a Mastercard from PayPal or any of these services, that support direct conversions.

The issue is for money transfer services and payment to Nigeria, not all banks in Europe will support a USD payment, except you get a cash service credit card or a usd account.
Which I never thought about having until now.

So if you have to set a policy to streamline fx transfers, include Euros or GBP don't clip it on the USD alone, its actually causing lots of service inconveniences.

If USD must be operated why don't Nigerian banks do the conversions to USD?

talking about withdrawing £20k what has that got to do with anything, who goes to the bank to withdraw money when you can do online transfer of use the POS at the Agent to pay? withdrawing money was last done by me 18 years ago.Oga once again we have thousands of registered money transfer company in the UK that operate legitimately cos you will have to register with them give passport and proof of ID and Address then they will create an account for you and this is done in person after that, you need not be physically there,you just transfer the money to them with a reference number and you get naira in ur account in no time, I understand the urge for guys like you to hold and feel Dollars for us in the Uk Dollars is lame we got a higher currency.
