the refinery is working, government will only tell the citizens what they want them to know. They will use it to reward themselves. Like they reward gencos and discos to reward some senior citizens during GEJ government..
Which refinery is working? the one in your village?
The one in Warri DO not work
The one i n PH do n ot work
So what refinery are you talking about??

Great question.

Yes, used tyres from Europe, mainly the UK and sometimes the US.

The Nigeria used tyres are not just cut out for me.
The vast majority of used tyres from the UK and US are mostly OK, reason being that they are gotten from Accident cars or scrap cars. So these might retain 50 percent of its l egal limit or thread. If a brand new car get totalled in 2 years and has done barely 1K miles then its tyres might still be ripe enough for the used tyre market.

QuickTyreNG:
Good afternoon sir,
Just like you rightly said, the source of the tyre matters a lot.

A lot of used tyre isn’t the same as a dead and worn out tyre. Some used tyres still have solid life in them.

it all still falls back on knowing where and what you’re buying
Right used tyres as in from ABroad ie USA and UK, or Used tyres in and from Nigeria

I'm glad to help. You might be surprised how much sand you can get from excavating a septic tank, I had enough to fill my compound I had to scrape some to give away

I have my thoughts.
Is tokunbo tyres a smart choice or a false economy.
Let's talk.
Depend on the source of the tyre, cos we talking used tyres here not dead warn tyres huh huh
Car Talk › Re: The Tokunbo Tyre Debate: Smart Choice Or False Economy? by erico2k2(m): 5:36pm On Jul 05, 2025
QuickTyreNG:
The kind of tyres you use depends on what level you are in. Old tyres has its quality but if you want to step out in style get a new tyre.
We sell both new and old certified tyres.

For context, I sell both new and used tyres because people ask for them. But if it were up to me, I’d stick to new tyres.

I get why people buy tokunbo tyres—sometimes, it’s just about what the budget allows at the moment. But here’s something I’ve been thinking about: there are tyres within the ₦60k–₦85k range that come with 2–3 years warranty. Wouldn’t it make more sense to buy a tyre for ₦80k that will last three years instead of a tokunbo tyre for ₦35k–₦50k that might not even give you up to 13 months?

I’m not judging, just curious. If you’ve used both, what’s your take? To be honest, tokunbo sometimes does the job, especially if it’s a great grade, but is it really worth it in the long run?

Just something that was going through my mind as I rounded up for the day.
How do you judge a good used tyre?cos there must be a mechanism for one to say yes, I can use this used tyre on my car.

It’s giving “glass bomb” vibes. Would you feel safer or more terrified using this kind of cylinder?

Well, let me correct you

Unfortunately money doesn't determine the value of a woman. A good and intelligent woman from a poor background is valued more than the daughter of a rich man with poor character and less intelligent.

However, men came to the world with zero value and has to build his value as he progresses in life. that value includes money, personality, properties, name etc.
Do you think even a woman will agree with the first line of this your responce?if you like get PHD and be a pastorn if you are broke no well to do woman will settle down with you.But once you make money , oh yez, mama and papa is sure. grin grin grin grin grin

You must be living in stone age
There was a post here on fp where both partner work yet only the man shoulder their monthly expenditure

The fact that she's financially ok doesn't mean you ll have access to her money. Women are wired differently
No I do not live in stone age, I actually live in N8 a civilised area far from what you can attain in Nigeria. You see, when you are married or dating your standard, no one feels they owe anybody, you are equals in the relationship when it comes to the physical and you plan together, worktogether to acieve the same goals,Joint mortgage is quicker than single mortgage. If you check some basic application form in the west, they have updated some of thier enquiry like, did you grow up with both parents? Did your both parents work? did they own thier own home etc.they use these to judge your character. A broke girl will not work, she relies on Men to provide her every needs, she is 1st to show your low life if things ever goes wrong finicially.Every broke girl already has a bad character by default.you have to pay for thier hair nails, clothes, health everything if you dont you are sharing her with a next man.It is better to go for a girl who can hold her own and then you add your own value to her life,These are the ways of a great man.

While you are looking at physical broke vs poor

It's more important that you consider mental poverty/ brokenness
Mental brokeness exist in broke people, you canot be broke and think rich, only rich people think rich ,act rich and do things rich people do.Broke people go to shops Rich people go only to window shope why rich people actually shop.I come from a family of 4 sisters none of them is broke. They all earn thier way in life. They aint so rich but certainly aint broke.I dont think you realize there is a big devide btw rich and poor.If you earn N400k in todays Nigeria you are poor but not broke.

Guys, abeg I need help.

The interior part of my land is low, so we had to construct the foundation in such a way that the back has more coaches than the front so that they will all be the same level.

The back has 6 coaches from the ground, with the 6th coach being a plinth beam, while the front has 4 coaches. First attached picture is the front, while the other 3 pictures are the back area

The implication now is that I will need several trips of filling sand to adequately fill and compact the various compartments of the foundation before doing the german floor. My engineer is projecting over 10 trips of 20tons filling sand and I am worried about the cost.

Considering the quantity i will be buying, please advise me on how and where where I can get filling sand at reasonable cost. My location is Mowe axis.

Also, please share your thoughts about the foundation. Thanks
I dont think you have any other choice in the matter, well if it helps, howmany septic tank are you planning to build? you can do them now and the sand gotten from excavation can be use to form part of the filling sand.,I hope this helps.

2. You can marry a financially ok woman and still lack support. It's all about their mentality n character
I think you should analize the real meaning of a Broke girl.WHo do you think is a broke girl?there is a big difference between a broke girl and a poor girl, one has entitlement mentality and want the good things i n life without working hard or even aiming to work for it, they just want it, and add zero development to the life of the giver.them full here hence none is saying anything

The guy that wrote this thrash is still broke.

The joy of being financially buoyant is in helping your loved ones, friends and people genuinely in need.

And the greatest joy of a financially successful man is in spending on his kids, wife, family members, in-laws, and most importantly his side chicke huh

Why are you making money if not to help people around you?

Marry into a rich family as a man and you will not enjoy visiting your in-laws, but when you are rich and your wife's family are not as rich, there is this great joy in paying them visit and being welcomed as the odogwu in-law.

I disagree with you.Howmany Rich girls have you seen checking the character of a broke man and going onward to date them? for starters poor people do not go to where rich people go.I glass of beer I mean a pint cost N2k in stadume road but go to sky bar in GRA it cost N4k.In the Nigerian context, poor is poor, rich is rich simple.SO you are making your statement based on Gendar. And to top it all, if you are in Nigeria, having few Millions does not make you rich anymore, you got to be a Billionaire as our monies is now lobish.
