Trossard: U dey use ur money phuck Ashawo that's why. You lack vision. You lack wisdom. Many people are even praying to have such jobs, so they can save and establish themselves for life. Check yourself very well. You're your problem.
We've seen private sch teachers earning far lower than you but doing tangible stuffs with what they earn. If you think it's all about how much u earn, then you're foolish and unwise.
The bank you're working Must sack you now cos they don't deserve to have people like you as their staff. Na ur type dey steal bank customers money from their accounts.
what dome people call huge money is gateman salary for others
I'm throwing this question to you because it's very important. Every time I ask, "how is Nairaland?" I'm told that it is fine. If I ask what are the challenges I'm told there are none.
So I need to talk to you guys directly about what you think is going on and what you want us to do. I have not had the confidence to make major changes on Nairaland. I have a little confidence now because of AI.
What are your complaints, your challenges, your issues. What are the things that can drive people away and need to be nipped?
Speak your mind, but don't be rude. Thanks.

I wrote waec and neco in 2018 and hustled to further my education. At first, I was seeing results but starting from COVID time, everything disappeared like film. I wrote jamb in 2020 no admission. After 2 or 3 years I wrote admission again and was admitted but no money so I dropped out.. as I'm not opportuned to go to school that's why I want to hustle and be financially free before 30
no one had it easy, every person had thier battles, nah your own you dey so,my advice for you is WIN IT
Goodadvice01: It's written all over your posts sir. You were opportuned to study abroad. If your parents or sponsor didn't have the means, you wouldn't have traveled.
It's easy to see others as lazy when you've already been sorted out.. it's a Nigerian thing sir
Life favored you
YOu would think, look at you talking, at least you have wifi and phones, so if I may ask what happened to you in secondary school?
Goodadvice01: Lol.. you and typical. Deep down your mind you know what I'm saying is true
Well, you left the country when things were still easy.. and you never suffered financially while growing up.. it's understandable that you won't relate
Goodadvice01: In Nigeria of today, if you don't use shortcut, you won't make it.. Nigeria has changed sir. I'm telling you the gospel truth.. ask anybody
You'll only see money to buy clothes and food but not to marry, buy car or build house..
Goodadvice01: Most people won't trust someone that just finished doing apprentice to repair their car.. that's how it is in Nigeria sir
To be a successful mechanic in Nigeria, you need connections.. ask anybody sir
Barbing is a nice skill. I want to start salary work so that I can save money by June. From June to December, I'll be perfect in it.
Then, january I'll travel to Lagos, if Lagos do somehow, I'll leave for Ghana.

Emmy000seun: Have wife and 3kids back in Nigeria..but here if you really want to have little savings, and you still take care of family at home, and then you can not hold yourself as a man, and you mistakenly impregnate someone, my brother that's a own goal ooo😂😂..unless you forget your family back home and new responsibility and monthly bills will choke you.. lot are falling into such trap having children here without any savings for years.and having friends again is risky, you might have a friend and maybe he indulge in illegal or bad thing and you are not aware maybe bcuz not working in the same place, some might run and leave you to your faith, and in some cases you might enter problem together which you dont know of..so as a wise man just be alone..to avoid issues, and still you can't cheat nature, loneliness must set in..but as a wise guy man, you face your savings and when you can't bear d boredom anymore, take a next flight back home 👌💯
Goodadvice01: No mechanic makes that much without connections
You must live in a village then, why dont you come to the Auto section on Naira land and speak to mechanics there then come to the Car section Some mechanic will charge you up to N5k just to service your car.Just to change Tyre these days can easily cost you N1k
Goodadvice01: My friend that's still learning mechanic advised me against learning it because it will take 5 to 6 years to learn it well and it requires much strength.. he suggested learning car parts instead.
Solar installation is a good idea IMO. But I don't see it as something that one can excel in without connections.. I heard most works are based on recommendations/connection
I really want to learn barbing because..
1. It's easy to learn and doesn't require lots of strength.
2. I'll have my own shop and become a boss of my own.
3. Nothing beats a business that generates daily income.
4. If I have my own shop, it will help me in saving for my relocation plans.
5. Barbing is a skill that is profitable and in high demand.
I'm very convinced I won't go hungry if I learn it well sir
You are not ready, typical of the Nigerian youth, what's wrong in waiting for 6 years to learn a trade? you are aiming to be a hair barber when others are aiming to be more and you think barbing hair is going to bring you much needed income right/The average mechanic, makes at least N20k daily with almost no overhead There is no such word as learning Parts.YOu are talking about serving a master who sells parts that even takes far l onger.Go and learn Mechanic you think say nah dirty Job,no worry your pocket will be your best adviser, good luck,
demoBaba: The company supply those meters are sub- contractor to BEDC and the meters supplied directly to BEDC, so consumers don't have access to them
Yes they are, and you have to pay, in My Old house I got 5 supplied to me for free by PHCN,but that was going to take for ever at my new build so I paid for five instead including one three phase, time duration was 3 weeks from payment to installation PHCN/ Yes you have acces, people talk to people and people understands. It cost a l most 80K for one.
Killermamba: [b][b]Nigeria Is Not Too Bad." Also speaking, a returnee, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he recently returned from the United Kingdom after spending four years abroad. He said after completing his studies, he wanted to pursue his PhD. Wait until herdsmen kidnapped you or better still you fall sick and realize that the Nigeria health care system is between life and death
armadeo: Again I disagree. As long as money is being spent and earned everybody benefits.
The money arrives. You cash out you buy bread. Seller makes money baker makes money.
Baker buys meat , butcher makes money. Butcher pays transport , transporter makes money.. you see how it goes.
These funds injected into the economy have a widespread reach beyond your immediate family.
2.4 billion dollars is a lot of money and it affects the country that's why the government is aware of it.
YOu obviously did not do ECONOMICS IN secondary SCHOOL,HOWVER THATS STILL NOT AN XCUSE, you OBVIOUSLY DID NOT GRASP WHAT i TRY TO XPLAIN IN THE DIFFERENCE BTW Micro and Macro Economy. ALl the transactions you just mentioned are all Microeconomy ,Buying and sending cars to your Dad in Nigeria falls under remittance if the sender lives and work abroad and its Macroeconomy as you pay import duty to FG and pay taxes to FG fru FIRS anyways Im done here, whatever you think Bro Enjoy,I dey go O2 Arena.
