"Cold start" means first start when the engine is cold (typically first thing in the morning after sitting overnight, or during the day after it hasn't been driven for hours and the engine is no longer warm) , not the temperature outside 🙆🏾🤣

This is why you sometimes have to leave the car at the mechanic overnight to cold start it for issues that only happen at cold start smh.

Funny lol, chill guy I never said they dont have AMPR,if you ever been to London there is a place called Shepard Bush ,I installed the 1st ever ANPR Camera there. In front of Liverpool train station I installed the ANPR there as they both have Hydraulic lift system.Just to bring you back ANPR Technology is from the UK so what I am saying is simple the infrastructure for this to work is not available we are still backward. Someone I met live from nairaland once asked me why don't I work in Nigeria I replied same thing, we do not have the infrastructure to support this.
Moving 4ward.Who uses ANPR Cam in the UK? Police, For traffic offences like overseeding ANPR is not used rather a speed camera is used.
Now ithe way it works with traffic is simple, you get recorded by a traffic enforcement officer in some office and the capture your number plate live filming, they have to apply to DVLA to get your address cos that's where we all register our names as owners and keepers of cars. The pay for this and then send a letter to your house. The simple fact we do not have Log books i n Nigeria messes this up. The speed rader camera is depended i n comparing your speed to marking measured on the tarmac. there needs to be this marking and its guided by GPS.
Anyway let stop here for now, say I over speed and indeed you got my number plate,U got my address somehow, and its in Rivers state but I live in Lagos, How do you then write to me ? that's the first challenge.
Or lets say I live in Lagos, I get a ticket for driving o n BRT lane, how do you issue me a fine,
we can have this conversation and share knowledge as far as no insults comes in,Im waiting.

Anyday youth wake up, they will take back there country.
I disagree, this is what the Chinese did in the Tiles and roofing sheet industry, hence no one imports tiles these days and howmuch is tiles?

Do not be deceived, this is all to force the people to patronise the DISCOS so that they in turn will pay tax to the government. If majority of the people port to renewable energy the revenue the government get from the DISCOS would drop so this policy is to prevent that from happening.
This is exactly what I was saying

I have a clue is you that don't understand what the government is trying to do. Rather than importing, let's start training people to create this clean energy. Then it will be very affordable and cheaper, you might end up not paying that much of 1M. So rest okay.
We already have more than enough persons trained in Nigeria for the installation and maintenance of renewable Energy, there was a compact signed and 11 African countries sent people to the UK for this. I was there at this event for the first 4 days.
What they are saying is Ban importation of Solar panels. The said nothing about Inverters and charge controllers,If you know as you claimed, why dont they ban importation of charge controllers and Inverters too? cos with these you can still charge our batteries via PHCN and not need panels, cant you see the hand writing on the wall yet huh huh

you are right, but it seems the way forward for the power sector is to make alternative power readily available to people. if our government can embrace solar energy and renewable energy, it will work well and it will, in the short term at least, reduce the nation's power shortage. But trust Nigerian government, they will still eventually find ways of inflicting pain on people if they see that people are dumping PHCN
yeah, but will they? The people who bought the GENCOs and they DISCOs are the ones crying, I spent almost N13m to go solar on our Biz premises in Nigeria, I aint bought Diesel in 18 months imagine.

taxing of solar panel users won't e a good idea, but i don't trust this tinubu government; they can come up with that; imagine the amount of money they will make. the ban on cars won't have much impact because we don't make enough cars to satisfy local demand, and banned cars are second-hand cars above a certain age limit. Thirdly, they didn't ban car importation; they only banned importation through the land borders.
The powers that may B are just worried people are migrating from PHCN wink
However I trust the Chinese, they will do what they did in the manufacture of floor and wall tiles.

This was part of my entertainment when they began on the Third Mainland Bridge during the Fashola era.

Some people came with the usual excuse that there were no speed limit signs, but immediately other Twitter users countered them and said that there were. As someone appeared and said that there were no signs, so also would someone appear and say that there were signs. Some people went the extra step of actually taking pictures of the signs.

There have also been speed limit signs on the Lekki Expressway since it was rebuilt in 2011.

Everybody knows this and everybody knows that those people are not to be taken seriously.

I'll attach the photos of the speed limit signs when Nairaland allows me.
Speed limit sign yes speed limiters is a joke lol grin grin grin grin

DO you have any Idea how the technology in those cameras work? If you know you woo agree with me this is a ploy to embezzle money and that this is dead on arrival.

You dont have a clue do you? Solar power is getting cheaper by the day and PHCN is losing out, the powers that may be are losing money cos as small as N500k you can have 24hrs power depending on what you need it for.My parents now have 24hrs power by me spending just N1m,Lighs, fan,TV,No more darkness.

Where are we now?
Still importing rice, as a matter of fact those that formulated this blockade and laws do not eat locally made rice.

This is what they should have started, bringing in the Chinese, telling them to set up factories in Nigeria to manufacture these panels and other solar gadgets, give them to federal workers at subsidised rates, it will flood the market and many will have alternative power supply.
But on a second thought, they can come tomorrow and say they want to start taxing people with solar power supply oo angry
there wa sa rumour of taxing sola energy users in Nigeria one time. The banned the importation of furniture, how far did that go?even cars bellow certain years how far did that go.
