KashApp:No be una vote the apc in ekiti again. Another apc helmsman is in power, you'd groan for another 4 years, even more . All fayemi knows is blow dry grammar. The philosophy graduate is bereft of ideas. He's a good example of putting a square peg in a round hole. He's still owing workers as i speak won ti fowo workers dibo tan. He's Tinubu's boy, who draws up propaganda for him to spread all the time. I've known him since June 12 days. Are you aware he governs from his Ikeja GRA home? He only goes to ekiti whenever there is a function and he'd open his tooth gap in the media to show he's working. Then, he returns to lagos afterwards. Unfortunately, ekiti makes up of mainly old people and civil servants. The youths hardly stay home to change the economic situation of the predominantly "farmer" state. I drove from lagos to Ado Ekiti, a few weeks after their election. The road was so bad. On getting to aramoko, turning to igede road ha, it was a bizarre experience my broda. My SUV was dancing palongo . Even the patched portions were already pulling out. As if that wasn't enough, a few miles away from igede was something else. The asphalt had been completely washed off the road. The road was looking like the one leading to a typical farmstead. The only good road is the short cut from iyin down to Ado which they said fayemi started in his first term and recently completed. Not even in my dream would I vote either the apc or pdp again. I've promised myself this. Back to sango road, I remember when Daniel was in government, he didn't use his influence to do that road though a federal road. Obasanjo was president but ignored the road too. Go to Daura in Katsina, you'd pick your food and eat, if it drops on that road, to describe how smooth and clean it is. I hope our people wouid jettison tribal and religious politics for once and vote the right candidate come next year. The oshogbo Ife road is another nightmare. My question is, are our apc politicians not plying those roads and what's their feeling each time they drive on them, do they have conscience at all? There were 2 scenes of accident that day caused by bad riad. Many major roads in yorubaland are bad yet, tsome gullible minds are shouting awon lokan. Indeed! |
Alba3:Like seriously? where were you when our uncle Jakamde was governor? If you're truly a lagosian and well grown that time,.you'd not be talking this way. Every time you guys come on the social media fora , defending tinubu, I always wonder if you were paid to do that. Lagos had always been a rich state. Who founded LASU? The Lagos Literail they've been using to campaign since 1999? What of the roads linking lagos state towns and suburb? General Hospitals nko? Lagos Government House, etc? In the 80s when pa jakande flagged off the lagos literail, he promised delivering it in 8 years . He built the largest housing estate in Africa in his time, markets etc were done under him. Had his tenure not been truncated by Buhari's coup, he'd have delivered the rail project in record time. The lekki you people were bragging of, that tinubu developed, was part of jakande's urbanisation plans. Have you ever heard of Jakande estate at Lekki? Find out how old the estate is. It was his plan to open up that area. When tinubu came in 1999, the Lagos master plan was handed over to him by baba. He jettisoned most of them, only pocketed a few. Even the few, he wasn't able to do much. Every 4 years, he'd come, used it to campaign, do a little and rrop it until another election. Lagos had always been a rich state. Pa jakande did all those amazing jobs without borrowing and in less than 4 years. Baba didn't have a single helicopter before he left. Till date, none of his children engages in poootics and it was on baba's instructions and warning. Tinubu's family hold sway in lagos, his.companies too.You and I know how many jets tinubu has today and some people still want us to vote him, no be curse naw. 2023 will really test his popularity. I won't say more than that. |

tunjijones:Your opinion...whoever you're voting is your choice. Ko gbagidi |
femisplash:Ibéyęn lo shi wa?. This is 2022 oo. Vote for a better Nigeria, vote Peter Obi |
Buhahahaha! |
iamrealdeji:I don't think so. Propaganda elected Buhari. I don't see it happening again. They almost stoned Jonathan and Tinubu caused it all. Not knowing he's eyeing that place too....hence, the Emilokan |
Tell them oo. The campaign would turn Carnival. O ti maa lo dun ju. We're going to paint the town red that's how democracy is supposed to be, not about theartening to push a particular ethnic nationality into a lagoon, should they refuse to vote your candidate or sending thugs to disperse eligible voters. This campaign wouid be the best since independence. House to house sensitization will be our key strategy. Nigeria can't afford another disaster. They're saying they want to rescue Nigeria, from the current apc government by a candidate of same apc? This is wonderful ![]() |
Biodun556:Who asked the fed govt to establish more universities? Nigerian government is so wasteful and am sure the idea was borne out of selfishness and corruption. Have they taken care of the existing ones yet? Since they didn't see this coming and jumped at it, they need to provide enough facilities in those schools. The fed govt has also been owing ASUU for decades. Those monies became accumulated. Mind you, what ASUU is fighting for is mostly for the benefit of students. Nigerian universities aren't among the 1000 best in the world. No wonder UK unis are saying Nigerian graduates aren't welcome for master's degrees in their school. You sound somewhat emotional towards this govt. Your comment has shown. ASUU has been going on strike since the pdp days, if not before then and the successive governments had been appealing, paying out of the backlogs. This regime doesn't seem to care . The last time I checked, mallams aren't interested in education but spending money. I'm not surprised. |
Romanoff:Esp among northerners. They still live in the 18th century |
Each time I hear any news on naira, I feel somehow |
I pray to God. I hardly feel depressed but whenever it strikes, something big ,.like some breakthrough is around the corner. It's my personal experience. Maybe those committing suicide shouldn't have dared. Cos depression is a trick from the devil, to deprive people of the lurking breakthrough. There's a young girl in my neighbourhood who had written Cambridge 2 times some years back. She failed while those she taught passed excellently. She attempted suicide by drinking hypo. She's already foaming when they noticed it and rushed her to the hospital. It was while she was on sick bed they told her she had 3As in her 3rd Cambridge attempt. She said she didn't want to see another bad result, after she's been told that their result had been released. So, she wanted to end it. She's in a medical shool in one of the leading UK universities now, even won a scholarship into the school 2019. |
Nice. Our baby be dat, making us proud |
natureblack:I meant the old ones...i should have been specific, sorry |
Good luck to them. We've drawn curtains on Muslim-Muslim ticket already. At least, you'd not day Nigeria didn't advise you after your defeat next year |
Una still dey join force for this regime? |
Romanoff:Exactly my point. Men can't be lonely oo. We pray we're forever active in all respects. Lonely kęę ![]() |
siofra:Happy birthday princess |
Which lock down? As far as we know in Lagos, police only keep and protect the facilities of the politicians. Here in lagos we provide our own security, we sink borehole to get water while in livable cities in the world, people depend on water from the waterworks and watermains yet, some myopic illiterates will be challenging the number 2 most unlivable city rank globally given to Lagos. Just report a crime to the police here. They'd never come on time and when they finally come, you'd be hearing stories...no fuel, we missed our way, blablabla. Until we stop playing politics with human lives in Lagos, we wouldn't get things right . With all the vices , bad infrastructure, dirty environment, open drainage system, some people would still challenge the ranking. They think its only when there's no act of terror or war that a city can be called livable. How many hospitals do we have and how many of them are well equipped and affordable to the common man? Is there health and social insurance coverage for all? We do everything by ourselves in lagos yet, some people wouid say tinubu is working. What's our population in Lagos? Can someone tell? What happened to the 4th mainland bridge since 1999 they've been using it to campaign? What happened to our state owned airport? Between 1999 and now, some states had built their own airports without making noise about it or use it to campaign. During same period, Delta built an airport, Anambra built, Ebonyi built, as small as bayelsa is, they had their own airport. These are the things that reduce crime rate in the city, making it livable. Traffic will be reduced with functional rail system, Good road and airport. Less traffic, less crime God bless pa jakande. He started the lagos literail in the 80s. If not for the interruption of regime by buhari coup, he'd have completed it within the 8-year period as stipulated. Since 1999, they've been using lagos literail to campaign, they'd do small and leave the rest till when another election period is approaching. Baba jakande built the largest housing estate in Africa in less than 4 years back then without borrowing. Lagos had always been rich but the resources had always been stolen. Till baba died, he had no single helicopter, talkless of 3 private jets. Anyone who lived in the 80s would know how traffic was being controlled here, despite being a busy city. Every vehicle had their routes. If you go off route , you're in trouble. They had stickers on them. What do we have tiday? Oluomo and thugs everywhere chasing danfos and LT buses collecting money and someone would be saying lagos is progressive. Police used to patrol streets back then. When last has anyone witnessed or heard a police siren at night in Lagos? Someone was paying for those stuffs. They collect security votes but always share it. You see police only around them and abandon the masses who vote them into power every 4 years and once there's a casualty among the masses as a result of govt's failure to provide the basic needs like security, they come up with their propaganda, just to exonerate themselves or silence the family of the victim with threats, in order to cover-up. Is that good? Sadly, most of those praising the government of the day and their paymasters have fallen victims of crime in lagos. Ambode would have restored the glory of lagos but the power that be didn't allow him. We'd get it right soonest. |
plaindealer:Most of those who contributed to this topic are either unintelligent or biased. What makes a country livable? Why did the op only harp on terrorism, conflict and war? Ask yourself these questions: What's the longevity of man in Lagos? What's the per capita income? Do we have clean environment? What of infrastructure? Social amenities nko? Housing nko? Employment? Access to affordable Healthcare? Security? Air pollution? Lagos is ranked far below average on all of the above. Go to ordinary Cotonou in Benin Republic. Where you park your car is where you'd meet it. Healthcare is on the average. You get to wherever you're going right on time. No girigiri. Before you say Benin Republic is not as populated as lagos, see London and new york, as populated as they are, people can still plan their movement without hindrances. You get to wherever you're going on time. I once travelled from Thamesmead to Wimpole Street for a meeting at Central London. Also from Jamaica side to NY JFK. Anyone familiar with those areas would know its worse than Oshodi-lekki axis in terms of population and busy traffic. I got there right on time. Can you achieve that in lagos? Ask yourself. Check the blood pressure of people living in lagos. Many are walking corpses. They don't even pay attention to their health. No good drainage system, no good environment. The way ikoyi is, is how every part of lagos should be , to make it livable cos that's the acceptable standards and the way most livable cities of the world, most of which I've visited by God's grace are. When a crime is reported, how long does it take the police to arrive and act? What of fire disaster or accident? These are the veritable factors determining if a city is livable or not. I live in Lagos and I know a lot is missing. It can always get better. The lagos literail is coming and hoping soonest. We need at least 3 functional airports here, constant road and infrastructural development, affordable housing... and that's why Ambode will always be my governor after Pa Jakamde. Lagos fits into that rating they gave. No bias. |
Wahala. Nigeria isn't ready yet. No wonder Obi went to Egypt to understudy their power. What a futuristic leader he is. Afi ki awon kan maa pariwo emilokaaaan ![]() Why would Nigeria get it right on power? When an accountant under that ministry is stealing over 40bn naira with 50 houses and 70 car traceable to him in abuja alone. The man is fulani. After the discovery by fashola when he came, they removed the power ministry from him and gave it to a fulani man.. and the stealing continues . Where's the man today? No case. Nigeria isn't ready , I reiterate |
MICHEALADEX:Stop ethnic bigotry. Obi la maa dibo fun nilu eko. Vote tinubu if u like. |
Jagabanofafrica:Obi lo maa de bę Tinubu kan ntan raę ni. Shun ethnic bigotry. Its a sin when you know and see the right thing but ignore it. That's why Nigeria is like this today. Both Tinubu and obj belong to same category we will retire all the old folks next year. Ire o |
Waw. Effect of brexit cum war in Ukraine. Germany economy remains strong as ever. |
So baba can laff like this.. When you see him laff this way, be wise it means something |
starbuck:See life....all of them are gone...long gone |
This government is ruining Nigeria, omg! |
Arysexy:Stop showing us this abeg. It's like reopening a healed wound. We're wiser now. All these na Tinubu strategy , the father of propaganda |
But Egypt can generate 50,000mw. Giants of Africa in Population, terrorism and massive corruption. Tinubu is one of the owners of discos. Discos wouid blame Gencos and Gencos too would finger Discos and the blame game continues. Vote him for more sufferings. I come in peace |
NNTR:Yes, we're on same page. Not the physical body would face judgement, and once the body is destroyed, another body can never resurface on the judgement throne or seat of God, contrary to some people's belief that they're going to marry 72 virgins and give birth ![]() Amazingly, many still live but don't know their essence of life and living. They don't undestand their makeup as a being . Soul doesn't get tired, it doesn't fall sick, neither does it die, it's the flesh or body that's prone to all that. When someone in pain falls asleep, he's relieved of that pain, he could even be deeaming and seeing himself in strange or known places. When he's awake and the soul synchronises with the body, the pain returns same as when someone dies and there are proofs of that. My friend by the name Kunle Ajibola was hit by a vehicle along oworo in lagos in the 90s as he wanted to cross. He had mobility issues so he wasn't fast enough to beat the incoming speeding vehicle. He passed out immediately. The force of collusion pushed him to the road side and the driver sped off. Long story cur short, he said he found himself in the midst of beautiful flowers and people , both young, old, white and black were surfacing from every side( meaning people die every second globally, same way new children are born) . He said the place was calm and cool, with nice breeze. He said nobody was talking to one another and everyone facing their own way. He got to a T-Junction where someone appeared to him, wearing white and tall and asked , where do you think you're going? He said to him, he doesn't know but as others were going, he too was going his own way. He now said, the time to cross that spot wasn't ripe yet, that he should look back...the moment he did, he found a large crowd surrounding him and some sharp and unbearable pain greeted his body. Then he quickly remembered he was hit and people began to shout...he's back, he's back and one man he didn't know took him to gbagada General hospital. He became born again due to that experience. Amazingly, if you see him today, you'd never believe he ever had any accident...no fractures , everything became normal. |
oghalebros:Chance bawoo! Is it about chance or tribe or about Nigeria? Was Obasanjo not of our tribe? What did you and I gain when he was in power? We are voting for the future of Nigeria this time, not tribe. Tell your people at Home. Ka gbaruku ti Obi |
