ASAPFERG:I laff in 3D at you guys. So, @ emee701, because my mum is lagosian now makes me fake abi? But in 2015 when I voted buhari and carried him on my head, then I wasn't fake. Who's more fake between me and your mentor Tinubu who hails from Osun and without any link here? The way you guys think amazes me always. My dad despite being edo was born in lagos, he schooled in lagos. He has all his houses here. His mum is also lagosian from the Kosoko family. While his great grand father was of Oshodin family who were the the early settlers of Eko from Edo state. What's known as Oshodi today was originally called Oshodin which is an edo word. Or can you tell me the yoruba meaning of oshodi? . Edo were early settlers of Lagos. Look at the way Obas in Lagos are dressedand and compare this with the Edo Obas. Oba Akiolu sef attested to this. I'm full bloodied lagosian. Let's put history aside. Whoever we support is our business and so, we should all be respected for our choices. You guys all saw a Sokoto youth sponsoring Peter Obi's billboard as posted here recently. He even said he's produce more. Watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byS5mlQQ_jA Are you also calling this guy fake fulani, despite his clear and audible accent? Did you not hear a popular imam in kano openly saying nobody should vote Tinubu yesterday? Guys, if you see the truth but choose to shy away from it, it's the worst of sins and atrocities any human could commit. In Oyo state today, you cannot mention Tinubu except you're ready to get igbati to gbona lala. Are those guys also fake yoruba? Those states in which apc lost to the pdp in the south west in 2019, were they also fake yoruba? I don't want to talk of a cosmopolitan lagos where the margin of votes was so slim between apc and pdp in same year. This shows clearly that Tinubu isn't popular in Yorubaland. If you're popular .you'd not be intimidating people and be sponsoring violence in order to have your way. That said. Among all the politicians, you and I know Peter Obi is the only one with a clear agenda and integrity. My maternal family is very close to Tinubu. According to mama, he used to come to our place in the 80s to visit baba jakande and be pleading for relevance. We know his real age and history from osun state. How can an 80 year old lie on oath that he's just 70? Is that integrity? His wife hajia died in 2018 at age 74. This same man sold buhari to us in 2015. Is your life better today than it was before 2015? Do you have a car, a generator, a job, a business? If yes and you're still supporting an apc candudate despite paying heavily on fuel. Your conscience is dead. Come 2023, we shall know who's fake yorubas cos of all the fellow yorubas polled, only 2 out of 10 said they'd vote tinubu. The rest said its Obi and this cuts across Christianity and Islam. There's an alhpaa in my neighbourhood who never misses the prayers 5 times daily . He's supporting Obi, even using Obi's picture as his DP. God almighty is my witness. So, I'd urge you think logically instead of being sentimental. Sentiments pull down a nation but integrity upholds it |
Good luck to all of them |
tiswell:Vice president or deputy governor has no.defined role. Ask Hamzat, Lagos deputy governor he'd tell you more |
Youths are taking over. Awon youths lokan. Take your destiny in your hands and rule your world. All the old politicians have hurt your destiny. Ask tinubu who camw all the way from osun had converted lagos into his private property with his family. You'd know better. |
Ndimkpurummiri:Hmmm. No be see finish be this? |
Tinubu's style of intimidating opposition. They should leave that man alone. |
I hate that combo with passion. He'd no money isn't everything |
More to come . Hahaha |
waice6571:Tinubu is a bad egg amongst us. He thinks Nigeria is Lagos where he has succeeded in destroying the templates of our forefathers and built his own. Our elders gave him a ticket to run under their party AD. Tinubu, after becoming governor wielded so much power in Lagos and cornered everything to himself. He changed AD to AC/ACN and dumped Afenifere, the owners of AD and sponsored Afenifere renewal group formation, which isn't even recognised. Those following this guy need to have their brains checked. |
God1000:His greedy soul did . Lool |
Una never see anything yet. They know tinubu is so desperate in his ambition. Malams aren't foolish. Ę dibo fun Peter Obi fun ojo ola awa ati awon omo wa. Shun sentiments. It retards lives and living , it kills visions. |
Moh247:Your opinion I guess...so, is it Tinubu’s year? Obi will sweep the entire south, middle belt and secure just...I mean just a few states in the north. I see the 2011 electoral map repeating itself next year in which Jonathan won just a few Northern states The truth is, Tinubu knows he's not so popular in the south. So is their party. Just look at the 2019 general election results in which the pdp swept apc states here. If not for padding which took place in lagos for over a week before the result was announced, PDP would have won lagos too. That's why he's running to pick a muslim running mate in the north which won't still save him. The pdp did so well in 2019 in the south courtesy Peter obi who was the then running mate to Atiku. How many states did pdp win in Atiku's northern region? Now, everybody don carry him own kaya. I have no doubt that Peter Obi will win next year's election. |
A missed road is an understatement. Nigerian politicians prefer to loose golden opportunities which are meant to favour all and sundry once such opportunities don't favour their selfish pockets. He'd have been obi's vice and waited jejeely for Obi's term to expire. Age is still very much on his side. |
Who doesn't know that the arrangement is evil? If Tinubu was a good student of history, he'd gave learnt from buhari and other northern politicians why they always run down south to pick Christian as their running mate each time. Do good today my people, because of tomorrow. Tinubu had known he'd not win in the south. That's why he's banking on the support of the northern Muslim who would end up disappointing him cos they can never like him the wau they like buhari. The mistakes many people make is that, Christians are so small and insignificant in population in the north. I've travelled the length and breadth of Nigeria. Adamawa is more Christian than we think,Tarawa, plateau, benue, kaduna and Nasarawa too. Bauchi is another amazing state. Bala Muhammed was saved by bauchi Christian votes in tafawa balewa and environs. Each time, bauchi, adamawa, nasarawa, always pick Christian as running mate. Elrufai who's making mouth today knew the evil he did during the election. If not, he knows the arrangement wouldn't have worked. If Christians were so insignificant, these states would have picked Muslims like they always do in kano and other northern states. Kwara and kogi are another States with large number of Christians. Furthermore, not all the Muslims in the north, especially the youths would vote Tinubu. Had Tinubu done well in the south in the areas of equity justice, and fairness, he'd have called the bluff of the core north like Jonathan did in 2011. He cleared the entire south and got a good number of votes in the middle belt. The core north voted buhari. Tinubu can't get same loyalty votes the north gave to baba. He's a super corrupt and dishonest man |
LoneWolf212:Dem don start their lies as usual. I wish he could win |
NOETHNICITY:Better get your pvc and support him because it won't be business as usual in 2023. Many will be shocked when the results are announced. Old time politics will be put to rest |
Xhurskid:In other words, Tinubu's not fit for the office. The 81 year old man knows this himself |
Xhurskid:If he can stand for 30 minutes on the podium without collapsing, I'd vote Tinubu instead of Obi |
Xhurskid:If he can stand for 30 minutes on the podium without collapsing, I'd vote Tinubu |
I'm not surprised. That ticket is a bad one for Nigeria at this critical momemt. Our politicians are so greedy. If you confront them on this they'd say, after all, it had worked before in the 90s with mko and kingibe. But they knew the reasl reason behind the arrangement. We just wanted the military to return to the barracks. Ha! May the military era never come back again. It's a terrible thing that can ever happen to any country. The worst of a democratic rule is better than the best of a military rule. Back to the matter, even if the devil was presented that time to contest so we could send the military back to the barracks, Nigeria would have still voted him cos anything that would make that happen was welcome. Not that we were cool with the arrangement. Moreover, Nigeria wasn't as divided as we have today across religous lines and no thanks to Buhari who populated his government with fanatics. We also have the Islamist militia and boko haram now, those who said openly what their agendas are. They also kill literal Muslims I wish Tinubu good luck. He must not come back after losing to be preaching restructuring to us oo, cos we wouldn't listen. |
Today, I saw a dog eating agbado thrown at him. He finished a whole long corn stick, devouring it like when a country is starving in a war. APC government can never be forgotten. This is bizarre
|
Congratulations Obi. I'm so happy reading this . A dog that would go missing will defy the whistle of his master. Tinubu just lost the consolation votes across the country. He went to Atiku's region to pick a less popular shettima as his running mate. What happens to lawan elrufai , dogara, etc? |
andysmith123:Get our pvc and be obidient |
NigeriaIsGreat:Lolz. Funny. |
lugado:You're wrong on the 2nd point. Lagos is the most populated state in our land. I'm not sure you live here. Come and do a simple sampling. Walk each sreet from the beginning to the end and count the number of churches and mosques. Enter each school and count the number of Christians relative to Muslims. Go to oyo state, the 2nd largest state and do the same, ogun too. You can only see a large percentage of Muslims in osun state. Go to Ekiti, its 95% Christian, Ondo is 80%. Once thing is certain exeept in osun, other states don't put religous beliefs on their heads when choosing a leader. We are one in Yorubaland. If we're to vote along religous lines, with each religon fledging it's candidate, Christians will always lead. |
casualobserver:Before obi came, Anambra had no IGR. Go and check today. He even left money for Obiano. Not only did the state's economy improve, he also improved the infrastructure of the state. Don't tell me you've not heard of Innoson...what of the brewery? There are other businesses around Nnewi serving mainly the consumers nationwide. You'd never talk about this, despite knowkng them. The Obiano's self acclaimed Airport project was Obis initiative. As small as Anambra is in IGR, they built an international airport, which Tinubu had been using to campaign since 1999 and they didn't even make any noise about it. I pity those living in lekki but still have to come to Ikeja to fly. Obi is a successful banker. Go and check all those banks that started with Fidelity Bank today and see if they're still standing. His employees are in thousands. Those banks that started with fidelity have all collapsed. Tinubu's business is politics. His type of politician doesn't build human capital . Only a technocrat does. His own style of politics is boba o pa, booba o buu lęsę( intimidating type of politics). We shall see how popular he truly is next year in lagos. Enough said |
Yes, Obi. I heard him say he'd empower the north on agriculture, that's restructuring He promised industrial revolution down south. Another restructuring. By the time each region developed their know-how and areas of comparative advantage, restructuring wouid fall in place, naturally. Obi also talked about the revamp of the oil sector He also promised empowerment of unemployed graduates. For me, this is much better than stomach infrastructure and 30k monthly stipends which always end up in pots of soup. Teach me how to fish and I'd catch more fish, instead of feeding me with fish. What drives the world economy? Its SME. America doesn't joke with this Most of us who survive in businesses in Lagos don't know tinubu. Tinubu's allies aren't industrialists but politicians who whare loots with him. Indare anyone counter this. We created the enabling environment for ourselves. We tar our own roads, generate our electricity, hired police amd even contribute money monthly for security. This is what we do in lagos. Government's job is creation of enabling environment. Lagos development was as a result of individual efforts not Government. Nobody should take the glory. The lekki development always credited to Tinubu is a great error. It's been in the master plan since early 80s. Part of Pa Jakande's legacies and master plan for lagos. The lagos literail was part of it. Unfortunately, all those blindly supporting him were born late 80s and 90s so they don't know anything. Had Buhari not stopped jakande in the 80s, our transport problem would have been solved a long time ago with a functional rail system. |
NigeriaIsGreat:If wish were horses....we hope to see many likes of orubebes next year from Tinubu's camps ![]() |
meditator:In iragbiji and environs |
casualobserver:You even posted ambode's achievement join...the man tinubu and his blind supporters openly condemned and accused of abandoning Tinubu's legacies yet, built an ultra modern and first of its kind bus terminal in Africa. He abandoned his legacies but bought almost 1000 brt buses . He abandoned his legacies but constructed a brt lane from oshodi to abule egba. I'm not even talking of the capital projects he executed in less than 4 years. Had ambode not called the bluff of Tinubu, do you think he'd have achieved so much? They said his sin was that, he's not a party man, his not a democrat, blablabla. Yet, his government recorded budget surplus for the first time in decades after our uncle Pa Jakande's administration. So, sanwoolu who's now a party man and a democrat, It's almost 4 years already. How far? We're voting the man with that one wrist watch instead of the reckless Tinubu who keeps using our money to buy jets. He has his investments in those sectors you mentioned. We will take his hands off those sectors come next year. I pray there'd be elections. Mr jeun soke kotun jeun sapo. We didn't undestand what he meant by this in 1999 until he moved from AD to ACN |
Kagd10:You think people are moved by this? |
