superior1:A much closer border than Ukraine sef( Putin's initial fear and reason for attacking Ukraine). NATO will now be closer than anticipated. If it were America, they'd have thought of the long term effect of their action, not the immediate effect and that's why they don't strike anyhow. Putin messed up big time on this. My worry is, he's not going to be in power forever to defend the innocent Russians whom Putin had already created enmity for, the world over. It will take decades to clean this omen. |
Freebills12:why didn't they make a fulani man president instead of Obasanjo, a yoruba man since we wanted democracy at all cost back then? I need you to answer that question in all honesty, so we'd know who's a coward here. |
Peace! Peace!! Peace!!! That's all we want. If they say they're leaving , the federal government should do the needful by reviewing our constitution and capturing referendum. You don't retain a wife who says she's leaving a marriage by force. Even the south-south whose land had been destroyed by oil, those who had lost their illustrious sons (e.g Ken Saro Wiwa whom I knew very well in the early 90s in Ibadan) by fighting the federal military government over injustice, those who can no longer fish in their ocean, those whose lives had been endangered and their region becoming a place having the highest record of asthma in the world, they didn't say they're leaving cos of their oil enrichment. For lasting peace to reign, they should allow them go abeg. All these strongheads on the part of the federal government can't help anything. We can still do business with each other even in far better ways than when we're together as a country. The largest number of cow we eat comes from Niger while the rice comes from Benin Republic. We too want to leave asap but when the time is right the whole world would know and not by killing our brothers and sisters or destroying our land. When we sent the military back to the barracks, we didn't use a single gun. When we returned Nigeria back to democracy, we didn't use a gun, when we said power must come to the south in 90s, we didn't use a gun and we still achieved all our goals...that's intelligence and by the time we're done with this union too, we won't kill a single rat and we'd still achieve it. Odu'a a gbewa ooo. Ashęęę. É maa yashę ęyin eniyan mi. |
patriotic007:Accurate! Pride goes before a fall! |
I can never take these people seriously. If aboki says A, and you believe it, you're gone. They can't be trusted. Let them keep doing the evil while their region keeps going backward. One thing is certain, they can't benefit from our sweat in VAT anymore. They should woo investments to their region too. Good luck to them |
Na wah oo. I watched the video 3 days ago. |
This one dey find VP slot. Na one of those who sell ndigbo out be this. Na your papa wey dey Niger State you resemble true true |
KIDfurniture:Because you're ignorant of their good deeds. It's normal to spew what you have just said |
BloomingDale:RCCG can do even more without making noise. They havve done so much more all over the country yet, nobody knew anything until the beneficiaries spoke out. It can only be Celebrity-like to do good and begin announcing it in public. The Bible says, such people have received their rewards already( which was accolades from men). They are called men pleasers. Your right hand must not know what you did to your left, else you have received your reward already. That is not Christ-like. Do you even know how many Christians have reached out to them already , ( and those who would still do ) with lots of succor which are even more robust than what this man had come in public to announce? |
Naniboi17:Hmmmmmmm! |
Amazing things always happening among these americans. I remember a day a pilot in order to save all the passengers, landed on the sea when he knew he could not make it to the destination and all the passengers were evacuated alive. These are the stuffs we ought to be applying our brains to, not by setting an innocent lady ablaze all in the name of a religion we are not even practicing in all honesty and purity of heart( the followers of Ganduje, the former governor of Yobe who later became senator , who was caught with 3 harlots in the hotel in a video that went viral, committing the same offence, which he once ordered a poor girl to be stoned to death when he was governor) and be ignorantly displaying the matches used in setting the poor girl ablaze. I wish the idiot rot in jail, but his fathers of evil will soon release him through the back door, just the same way they took wadume with his cuffs to the military barracks, cutting his cuffs and freeing him and nobody heard about it until one of the police men sent to arrest him, who managed to escape with heavy gun shot wounds went to the police HQ in Abuja to expose the military after he became a little stabilized. Till today, nobody would have known what happened to the police men who were deliberately killed after the military saw them with wadume the killer. For me ooo, na to break away from these people else, we are going to remain this way. |
Good. Please go and read of Obijackson. You'd know there are silent billionaires in your region who don't talk |
Amodi470:What's this one saying again? You just want to derail this thread shaaa. This was exactly what your brothers did and Deborah complained, now you're doing the same thing here. As far as I know, this comment is quite useless here. It's better read in a religious or related thread. But why do you guys' heads always turned upside down like this? ![]() |
helinues:Na their season be this. They'd coin lies and make it look like the truth ![]() I remember the Nigerian tribute in those days. There was a caption which read Olu Falae is winning. This was in 1999. I was like really? I rushed to the vendor and bought a copy. When opened the first page and saw Olu Falae is winning massively in Ondo, Ekiti and Lagos,.I was like, no be one chance be this ? ![]() |
Lolz. Jokers |
Highman56:Very well. My wife was born in Zaria. Her dad relocated to the south west in the 80s due to sectarian crisis that erupted between yorubas and hausa back then. When he couldn't bear it, they had to relocate back home |
In their words... If this barbaric act could happen to Ukraine, then we're not spared . We must join alliance with nato now! |
All what you guys are saying are nothing but stories. I've said it several times. As long as we're with these animals, a thing like this will always happen. Anything that could separate us from these animals should be paramount to us right now. Even our southern Muslims are being victimised in the north. They're not allowed to lead prayers . Anytime there's violence, they don't see them as true Muslims so they also attack them. My friend working with Multilinks in those days who hailed from Omu Aran in kwara state but posted to zaria as sub head was nealy lynched during a crisis. This was in the 90s. It was even his neighbour, a very close pal that exposed him. They used to pray in same mosque. That's to describe how inhumane and cruel these animals are. |
osinbanjoisaliar:I'm telling you. I heard ogun state governor too was arrested for credit card fraud in the 80s in USA. Do you remember his aide who was arrested last year over fraud? The guy wanted to dupe America of millions of dollars earmarked for covid-19 palliative. He hacked into their website and this was the guy nursing the ambition of becoming a federal law maker. Ovie omo agege, the outspoken senator in the house from Delta too had a case in America. Na those we know be that . All of them are the same no wonder Nigeria is this stagnant. |
Na the bagudu story shock me pass. After stealing so much money, he was jailed in America. As soon as he returned to Nigeria after serving the jail term and got deported, he was exonerated on arrival and started campaigning for his governorship which he won under the apc. Can someone tell me where we are as a country today. Each time I advocate for break up, some people who don't have e ideas of history would he attacking me. Hearing all these alone is enough to call it quits with these animals in human skin. Go to the south south where they stole the money from. Its in a sad state. I remember Mr Ken Saro Wiwa who protested of oil spillage in his region that time. Ken saro wiwa was well known to me in Ibadan. He used to come to our place with the pipe in his mouth in the 90s, so gentle a man. May his soup rest in peace. Abacha hanged him for committing no offence. It was a sad day for the country. May all abacha's family members know no peace, including those involved in Ken saro wiwa's death. |
Let our politicians travel by road too. Maybe God wants to do something in their lives by allowing this to happen. The masses are really suffering in the hands of these morons in Nigeria, traveling on bad roads |
Richy4:Well you could be right but what of the likes of Adamu Garuba, that apc youth campaigner who recently decamped, the majority of their elites and politicians too. Is this also a sign of poverty cos they can easily afford the best of cushions |
Ge looks so much like his dad. Beautiful |
Abbertee2:Very well because you sound purely ignorant sir. If its Islam, I doubt you're as grounded as I was before I converted and if it's education, I doubt you can match me in anyway, no be mouth |
ivolt:The difference between being educated and being illiterate is what you always see in the affairs of the NURTW in Lagos today, wielding dagger and inflicting injuries on each other. |
MadamExcellency:from your post, you sound like an illiterate, as in Olodo tabata ni ę. Ask a graduate to set up a beer parlour, tailoring outfit, barber shop, even own or coordinate a transport company and ask illiterate people like Oluomo to do the same. Irrespective of his centuries of experience, you can easily spot the clear difference. |
Good one. His statement confirms the fact that, we're more educated, concerned and sensible people and that's evident in our way of life and the way we cohabit peacefully in Yorubaland. Before anyone attacks me, Iba Adams is a Muslim. You could call him a traditional title holder but up north where Islam is practised as a sect rather than a religion, they don't joke with traditions and juju too. Ask each mallam, including those in the national assembly wearing neat banaringa to remove their clothes, what you'd see would shock you....you'd see dagger laced with charms and binded with different animal skin, big belt-like charms around their waists, etc. I still need someone to explain in clear terms to me what blasphemy is all about when someone didn't insult Muhammed or abuse him in any way and you went ahead and killed her in such an inhuman means. If saying people should stop derailing the group set up for adacemic enhancement or purposes i.e, test, exams, by posting useless religous posts was Deborah's sin and now termed it blasphemy, then we still have big literacy issues in the North. By now I was thinking they'd have become learned enough to interpret things logically but I was wrong. They still live in the dark age. A religious post in this context is of course useless ( that is, not useful or relevant to the purpose for which the WhatsApp group was set up). The same posts can't be said to be useless in Islamic or religous WhatsApp groups where such posts would been more relevant. By saying something is useless doesn't mean it's bad...it means it doesn't fit in a particular situation and that doesn't mean the same can't be useful elsewhere. I hope more sensible people would rise in condemning this barbaric act. I said to someone yesterday that they were lucky the girl wasn't yoruba and someone said it doesn't matter. I was in Ile Ife a few years back when our youths killed nearly 2 hundred hausa at eleyele side because one of them killed a yoruba welder , cut his flesh into size and packed it inside the wheel barrow then inserted a stick in his already cut off head and mocking yorubas. By the time our youths decended on them, people pitied them . Many were thrown into the wells, houses and property were burnt by our angry youths it was terrible. Their leaders in the north had to send buses to Ife to take the remaining ones home. We can be peaceful and calm but that can't be misconstrued for cowardice. Same Iba Gani was at the scene thst time. I couldn't believe my eyes while driving past a place that used to be bubbling with hausas. I also remember the swift reprisals after a woman was killed for preaching early morning in Kubwa some years back. The moment our people heard this, mile 12 was attacked and many were killed. It took the swift intervention of pastor Adeboye, the GO of the church the woman belonged, to stem the situation. They should thank their God oo. Deborah, RIP. |
FG is more powerful than state. I knew all his breakaway and giragira would never hold water. That's why it's always good to appoint educated fellows into offices because they'd never have same reasoning faculty as that of Oluomo, a reformed agbero. |
Hero! Please i want to ask one funny question this morning and my sincere apologies to my Muslim brothers and sisters amongst us reading this. Why are the foreheads of those who brought Islam to us aren't having that tick, dark spot unlike our people here in Nigeria and some African countries? They're mostly fair and are supposed to be the ones having that dark dot and more revealing on their foreheads. I've been to the Islamic countries and haven't noticed this dots at all yet, they observe all the prayers. Thanks |
tesppidd:Obviously, you don't understand the difference. President and VP were elected into office by the Nigerian people while those cabinet members you mentioned were appointed. They're political apppintees. The only one being hurt right now is Malami, that greedy fellow. I'm so happy with the NA's stance on this |
Women and shopping. They don't look back on time once they enter market ![]() |
Christistruth00:Daily Times, the first and trusted news media in Nigeria has suddenly become fake because you're not cool with the truth he had said? O ga oo |
