But why are these people always offending God wilfully through humanity? Why not give her an apartment out of one of the lagos owned estates if they truly had a sincerity of purpose? What's 1m naira, that they'd finish in a matter of months? If you want to give a succour, give it in a way God would be pleased. What happens when the rent expires? They go back to their slum. Why not at least give them 5m naira and an apartment?

You are still justifying the old generations and demonizing the new generation, no difference between both generation as per the engagement in immorality, the only difference is how they tend to go about it which also applies to general aspect of our lives e.g both generation drinks water but we no longer feel okay drinking direct from well but from sachet or plastic same with sex, people no longer hide in bushes in farms but have phones to order their Olosho and bring it to their houses, it's just improvisation that changed.

I differ. The level of immorality nowadays can't be compared with that of the olden days. How many Virgins can you see today in their 20s? To even toast a girl back then was a great effort because you wouldn't even see gals around. You have to sneak or tip-toe just to catch a glimpse at them in their homes. Nowadays, civilisation has made things worse but there's nothing we can do about it. You don't even need to toast a girl nowadays. Just by exchanging numbers, you're good to go.

Now is worse off. This has been influenced by the kinds of clothes worn, civilisation, advent of the Internet, etc.

During my undergraduate days, we could count the number of females wearing trousers in my class. They we're mainly in skirts, jean skirts. Nowadays you see girls wearing tights and leggings to classroom while some are on bumshots.

In those days , there was nothing like dating apps or porn sites brought about by the Internet. I remember a day I went to the cinema with my brother and the Cinema people entertained the crowd with a porn movie before the real movie entitled Equaliser2000 was played. That was my first time of seeing a porn movie whereas, by grabbing your phone, you can access thousands of such nowadays, all for free.

Instead of clubhouses we have everywhere nowadays,na cinemas we dey go that time and movies were well regulated. Also, we have several types of alcoholic drinks nowadays which stimulate sex. Different types of energy drinks which weren't there that time

Fear of God and obedience to parents have also diminished cos of civilisation. All these and more have made sex so easy to come by nowadays. Back in the days, if you're not a virgin, your parents wouldn't get any form of respect from the groom and family because virgins were a commonplace and a thing of price as of then. Hardly would you see a girl who would keep her virginity until a night of her wedding nowadays

Only civilisation is advancing. Human nature never changes. Civilisation had brought changes to human living. The day i watched a video clip of Lagosians in the 1940s, I was amazed. People were going about their business without stress. No hurry-hurry way of life. They spoke yoruba with ease. I heard someone say, o digba ( meaning o dabo or goodbye). In another video I saw the young Prof soyinka walking to the court flanked by a police officer and he was uncuffed.

What we see nowadays is different. You see passengers running after buses in Lagos instead of the reverse being the case.

OP, Dailypost just spoilt this by mentioning Tinubu and Atiku. These are the crop of super corrupt leaders who will never make the list. Can Tinubu talk to us in yorubaland and you think we'd listen? His approval rating is at its lowest ebb. Only those he planted in our region are drumming support for him and it's cos of their pickets. Nigeria is a big nation, those who have travelled far and wide would know. Till now, there are places I've never been to, despite being well travelled within Nigeria. Can he speak in the south east or south south and people there will listen? Who knows him there? Is it Joe Igbokwe the lagos boy or amaechi? What of the middle belt, North East and North West? Only Ganduje knows him in kano and he can't decide for the people. Ganduje himself has issues with Kano right now.

Tinubu and Atiku are in their 70s point of cirrection. The only person I have in mind, who can fit in IBB's description is none other than Osinbajo. He's the only one I've seen do this nationwide and nobody had booed him. He's popular nationwide and has been everywhere, including places his boss hadn't touched since 2015.

He's the only credible person that I know Nigerians would want to consider including buhari himself...Elrufai wouldn't even hesitate to boot tinubu away at the slightest opportunity. The question is, will Nigerians still vote apc after baba's tenure expires owing to the way they've governed and treated Nigerians in the last 6 years? PDP too is like feaces in the sight of man. The ends will justify the means.
