You must be living in the jungle to pretend as if you did not know what's been making the rounds lately. Segalink is one of them. Him and Aisha Yesufu were called for negotiation by the federal govt to end protest but aisha left the meeting in annoyance after she realised they were trying to bribe and silence them, saying she would never be a part of it. Tomorrow, somebody like Segalink would cite #ENDSARS as his achievement and would want to use same to have his way into the political arena after collecting so much. That's the problem we have in Nigeria. I cant wait to see the guy mobbed by the youths though it's most likely they surround him with security personnel , for now. but he can never escape justice. The era of conscience-buying is long gone. All the old fools we have in government are full of deceits. They need to leave because they are not fit anymore to govern. Their era is long gone.

I don't think so. Anytime there's a protest in lagos, they say it's tinubu behind it. The end SARS is being echoed both in the apc and pdp states nationwide. Nobody is hijacking anyone. Set yourself free. Our politicians are our worst enemies so revolution has started. End sars is just the beginning of it. Nobody knows when this would end. Go and study the cause of protest in Syria and other Arab countries. One of them was caused by a small girl. Whenever there's going to be a revolution, it could take different dimensions. End sars started like a joke and now, it's a nationwide thing, except the region who's happy being backward who are protesting in the opposite direction. If you're not tired of this modern day slavery, we are. A minister would sit on the money that belongs to the whole nation and share it with only her people and you're cool with that? Yesterday, I watched on channels tv during which Sanwo-Olu was saying he would give 200m naira as relief to the victims of sars brutality and people replied in one voice that they dont want his money and the governor said, you mean you don't want money and they all yelled yeees. E don happen. Enough is enough. Youths have suddenly realised they own Nigeria and not the old fools. They've suddenly realised their generation is being eroded. They rejected sanwoolu's money because they knew thats the way politicians have been buying their conscience in the past. Not anymore!

The last time I checked, he defended the police. He lied that, the protesters were hoodlums who wanted entering the station , while some were seen burgle and in effect, the police shot at one of them. Lagos under the puppet can never be right. Had someone like ambode promised to give such money, people would have just gone to sleep because they'd get all the money. Oyo didn't promise before giving the victim's family the money, in less than 72 hours after the incident he responded with a relief. What if he now promised, which I'm sure he would still do? Then one should expect even more. That's what I understand by being responsible and responsive. The 1m naira was just to give the family a succour.

Human beings are ungrateful. Was it makinde who shot at the innocent young man? Was the protest about or against makinde like oyo people protested against late ajimobi for touching ayefele's building which was even far from the road he claimed he was expanding? The last time i checked, SARS was an element of the federal government not state. What has the federal govt done to the family? Makinde visited almost immediately after the incident to commiserate with the family. How many people had the federal govt sent to them to do the same?

For me, that's the way a responsible and responsive governor should do and not like the puppet in lagos who keeps making empty promises. Where is the money realised from the covid-19 endowment fund? Where's the whopping sum he promised as relief package to smes to cushion the effect of covid-19? Covid-19 is almost gone but nothing had been done. He's not paid the minimum wage till date after his empty promises to lagos workers that he wouldn't only pay 30k but 35k as minimum wage. From September last year, to January and up till last month, it's still same story despite the state being buoyant financially. Workers protested last month, blocking the entrance into institutions for his failure to pay when other states like edo had been paying same since February

Now he has made another gaffe. 200m naira my foot. The innocent victims have just created an avenue for sanwoolu to embezzle money. If the victims and family get up to 20% of that money, they're lucky. Someone who claimed he spent between 100k and 1m naira to treat one covid-19 patient daily cannot be taken seriously. The funds were donated, likewise the isolation centres, wondering what was he feeding and treating patients with. It'sin the news Google is your friend if in doubt.. Almost one and half years in office, no meaningful achievement to his credit and only a puppet can act that way.

Whenever there is any agitation for progress in this country, the north and their youths go in the opposite direction hence, the vast difference between developments in the 2 regions. I wonder of an average northern youth understands what cryptocurrency means. Shoud we continue to see these people drag us backward forever? My uncle's first son is a goolle consultant in lagos. he does not have a single office, operates mainly from home. he's also a proof reader for a few online firms and he earns his pay in USD and he's still in his 20s.
