Philipponzaghi:Not only tertiary. LASU staff who were among the civil servants of the state used the opportunity to stage a protest when asked to resume after covid-19 on the resumption day. Minimum wage is a law. No state can approve a different wage for a different ministry in their state. It must run across board. LASU Staff are under ministry of education and the staff with the lowest cadre in every ministry would get same approved wage. The 35k would be enjoyed by all the civil servants in all ministers not only LASU that's the Labour law. Same sanwoolu promised lagos civil servants (including state owned tertiary institutions) last year but never fulfilled it. He even approved 30k back then before increasing it to 35k. When did he commence paying the minimum wage naw? February this year, covid-19 came and march, there was lockdown which caused governemt parastatals to work part time, living on half salary. Meanwhile during the same period, obaseki paid the 30k promised, in spite of the lockdown. My problems with you people is, you're in perpetual suffering, you even know it but would never agree. Philipponzaghi:Set to pay, not that sanwoolu has started paying. Obaseki promised implementing the proposed 30k, he fulfilled it since February 2020. Set to pay is different from , "has commenced paying". You don't seem to realise how much Lagos civil servants have been shortchanged between February 2020 since obaseki started paying the 30k and now. Even if lagos sets to pay 40k( which lagos is capable of paying, given their huge revenues when compared to edo's slim revenue) ,there's no gainsaying that...billions of naira of lagos civil servants' money had since been diverted within same period. The 30k minimum wage sanwoolu said he would start paying last month had since been implemented by obaseki in February and edo civil servants had been enjoying this ever since. FYI, there are housing projects going on here too, which nobody is making mouth about. Las las na Tinubu's owned hitech go do the job at ridiculously inflated cost, if true. Afamed:as promised yesterday, here's a portion of the site of 2nd niger bridge. Luckily we passed there again to avoid the long onitsha traffic. That Road we passed, if you zoom the pictures, is next to the seashore and after that road, there's a few number of buildings on the left and the next is river Niger. Those pillars are the concretes on which the bridge would stand. I wish the commercial bus had just one minute stop. I'd have had the opportunity of snapping more for you to see. I managed snapping the pillars via the bus' window. Amazingly, as we passed there, no work was still ongoing. Did you see a single human being near or close to those pillars working? I spotted only one statue with JB's blue overall beneath the bridge with a warning flag tied to its hand . The remaining pillars are offshire( in the river niger up to asaba) I don't know what more to say but like I said yesterday, your likes would never still believe cos I can see you're quite emotional about the apc. Both apc and the pdp would keep disappointing you guys if you keep believing everything they say. Only personality should you guys vote and not party. You'd continue to get it wrong with party loyalty or affliation in Nigeria. We do not have the caliber of people in power or participating in politics yet, who could listen the to the yearnings or aspirations of Nigerians. Until this happens, party loyalty is needless. I doubt if we could see someone like buhari to take over from him in 2023. Prof osinbajo would have been a good pick but the hyenas and wolves in the apc are too powerful than him.

Who cares. Buhari is old and experienced enough to deliver on his mandate if he so wishes. Just focus on ams support whoever would succeed him in the south and not yourself because you have no single pedigree as a leader. |

people just commit suicide as if there's an option of coming back to life I had lost nice phones in my life but I moved on. The last took place inside Charles de gaulle Airport when I was waiting for the train to take me to town. I arrived France late and at that time, train station at the airport had closed. I took a short sleep with my phone by my side while waiting till morning when they'd resume work. By the time I woke up, my Blackberry Key 2 had disappeared. Anyone could Google the price as of late 2017. I went to the airport police to report and one of them said its those African guys that usually steal from the airport.Once they succeed, they leave the airport immediately. Life goes on. |

Wetin concern me. All I can say is that's, it's an effort in futility. Afterall it's Lagos money he's spending and those enslaved aren't complaining. Come 2023, it's either Osinbajo/Zulum in apc or Obi/Tambuwal in the pdp. Those perfect combinations are my choice for 2023 and I'd have to roll a tally and whichever combination picked would be my supporter. I no dey for any yeye party which has taken us nowhere in the last 20 years. We need our country back. |

Ma'am, I hate FFK with passion, but what sarrki posted is true. Sometime last year, precious was sent out from their home coz of the incidence. That was just before the family celebrated Aragon (their son) birthday. I know know about this guy's home coz I visit there. His place is just behind DSS headquarters at Aso drive.i know his house too, off aso drive, not far from diff hospital. Ffk should just go for one of his old wives who refused to remarry like the Ghanaian woman who still loves her. All these celebs aren't wife material oo. Obosi-onitssa Road and the link bridge is a state road entering obosi town on the right. The one entering onitsha linking the popular upper/lower iweka same place where the niger bridge which would take part of obosi is going to terminate at, is the federal road. You were merely going farther than the actual state of the 2nd niger bridge project. You're the one confusing yourself by beating about the bush. For the record, second niger bridge hasn't gotten to obosi yet, though it would still do. The current construction which I've been seeing with my korokoro eyes awarded to JB comprising a head bridge and an express way adjoining onitsha, coming from okija is the one sponsored by the amambra state govt. Same JB is the company handling the 2nd niger bridge on the other side where I said no work was ongoing when I was passing by, though their rigs, cranes and containers were there with their logo on them 4 Likes |
