blacknp:in as much as I agree with you on certain terms, I disagree with you totally that youths of yesterday are the leaders of today and today's youths are tomorrow's leaders. Buhari left power in the early 80s and today, he's our president. Obasanjo was former head of state. He came back to be president again. Atiku was former comptroller-general of customs and he's now coming to become president of Nigeria. Tinubu was former senator, 2-term governor and now, he's planning to become president of Nigeria..May God forbid that atiku or tinubu becomes another liability over us. These are relics of a lost age. They're irrelevant popitically but they still want to dominate our political space. They marry their children out among themselves so they could continue milking us. Same children would be planted over us once they leave office, same way tinubu is doing in lagos , including lai Muhammed, our generation needs a brain reset. It would never happen again, never! I've been to America several times yet, no place like home. We are better off here. Ask a south African, if he likes visiting America. His response would disappoint you. Their government is responsible. Those who are unemployed get stipends. They're treated like human beings and there's no facility found in the USA, which you can't find in South Africa. Americans should be coming to us to explore opportunities in agriculture, human and natural resources which we're blessed with. No single governor wants to embark on a long term project except the short-term ones, which they could steal as much as they can from, before their tenure epires. Each time I pass lokoja, I remember Bad Ems in Germany where people visit annually on vacation from across the globe lokoja is a replica of Bad Ems, where there are mountains and roller coaters with railways cutting across the entire area, touching mountains end to end. The heat of lokoja during harmattan or cold region is good for the elderly who have made their money but just want to look for a warm haven to hibernate. Bad Ems is also like that. I've been to the mountain top of the lokoja hill, took pictures at lord lugard's house. I drove to the mountain top. It was a place to behold. The top was as flat as a football pitch where hotels and an airport could be built. Seeing a plane take off and land on the hiltop would have been a scenery to behold. Our politicians have rendered themselves myopic deliberately so much that, the lives of the posterity matters less to them. Many givernors have ruled kogi since creation but none of them could see the God-given, money spinning nature which could have launched lokoja on the global tourist arena. Shame on our leaders. Revolution has begun. |
Gondonu:that's why we must snatch our destiny from the hands of our greedy politicians. Its up to you and i |
ufuosman:bros, nothing dey work for this country. Na chop make i chop dem dey take us do |
Ahmed0336:There's nothing like chaiiii. Uncle Sunday of blessed memory used to sew police uniform for them. They buy almost everything they wear, including shoes. What a country! |
ufuosman:so who now went to attack my people? Why is same happening in lagos and abuja? I smell a big rat |
ghettokid1:I can't believe this is happening on my generation. It's still like a dream. Those who would gladly collect money during election and would risk their lives, defending the morons we have in government are now rejecting their Greek gift. Someone, please wake me up if it's a dream. Here comes the long awaited revolution. |
Someone who would be lynched last, mtcheew! |
ufuosman:Edo APC thugs at work. We will fish them out |
Antoeni:yes, protest is seen as carnival when its violent-free. It's normal. Those guys amazed me with their high level of marurity |
The hoodlums are simply prolonging the protest. We know sanwoolu is behind it but the guy can lie, even in his sleep. He would still come and debunk it. Those hoodlums are simply putting their lives in danger because protesters are now cowards. They're marking them alteady via their social media profile and pictures. They'd get them, any day |
Blue3k:See this one. What's called a protest? Google it. Mounting roadblocks is one of the tools used, so far they're not being violent, its in order. I was at Lekki yesterday, up to iyana ipaja and abule egba, all the roads were only partially blocked. 3 lanes were merged into one. |
Ha. See as dem damage dat Lexus. All these modern vehicles, na plastics and foams full am. Yet, they come at exorbitant prices |
tamdun:i like what you said...that some of us aren't loyal to a particular party but our country and I'm one of those people. Any performing political office holder is my candidate. I don't believe in partisanship because Nigeria doesn't have formidable, well-structured parties with decorum yet. APC=PDP |
Holumhidey:lool |
he supported same govt in 2015 remember? He's a flip-flopper |
Fake news. No need to watch |
mrbyron:its all in your hands. How can someone come all the way from Iragbiji in osun state to dominate all the affairs of lagos , sending packing the Vivours of this world, the Johnsons, the Williams, the Pearces', the cokers, the macaulays, the lawson etc, who are the real indigenes of lago? His juju must be top notch oo . But dat juju must go watery someday. Every juju has an expiry date. How can someone be reaping some people off and yet, they'd still be praising him? Ayam not understanding |
The man who holds lagosians in their balls ![]() Modern slavery is real. Youths are wiser now. BTW, at what age is he building this? Na wah oo |
shiki:ha! Shhhhhhhhhh |
GOATandYAMtheory:this boy, won't you rest for a minute? You're just going upandan attacking people here. When the protest begins to yield positive results, like the agitation for democracy did, someone like you would want to benefit. If you don't have anything to say, silence is holden |
Anyone who sees the ongoing protest as anti-government, anti-religious or anti-ethnic should have a brain reset.I'm well-travelled and the only continent I've not been to is Antarctica. I've never seen a country so rich, so blessed like Nigeria. A sheik in my material family once said some Nigerians visited Saudi Arabia and when they met with the late Sheik, he told them...see those who have come from earthly Jannah, meaning earthy paradise. Rain falls in due season, sun shines in due season , we have the best of weather, our vegetation is naturally grown, with or without fertiliser, we grow our crops. Yet, we are the poorest nation on earth. Our law makers earn the fattest of allowances in the world, our politicians have private jets. In spite of all these, our youths are fading off. Once you atrain the age of 20, years begin to roll-by very fast. Before you know it, you're tending towards manhood. The greedy politicians would keep telling you that, you're the leaders of tomorrow whereas, as they're leaving office, they replace themselves with their children who would occupy their seats after returningfrom overseaswhere he had studied on fed govt scholarship. There are over 50 million Nigerian youths who are ripe for marriage but are still being fed by their parents. Our politicians won't end well, no be curse. They share money with our youths, give them guns, just to have their way and afterwords they dump them and tag them all manners of names...shame on those who fall in these categories of youths. I strongly believe in one Nigeria but our politicians are making it difficult to achieve. Na Northern youths i pity the most. They use and dumpthem after election. Once they share 2k amongst them with Greek gift, that's all. Even if they ask them to lick dog shiit, they'd not hesitate to do so. I wish many of our youths had the opportunity to visit just south Africa and explore their cities for just a week and then, come back home. They'd go wild. What if they visit Europe or US, they could spend a whole week weeping. Our lives aren't secured under the present-day politicians. In the Arab world, the protest which took place a few years ago which saw to the fall of many tyrants was caused by a small child and from there, it became uncontrollable. I waka up and down today in lagos and was amazed. Protesters were so united, peaceful and well-coordinated. I saw an ambulance parked with medics inside , the Protesters were seen buying food for themselves...revolution don come. Even the military are now choosing their words carefully. I looked at the youths in the eye and none of them looked haggard. Most if them look clean and decent with branded t-shirts worn on them. They were controlling traffic and encouraging people, I learnt its same scenario nationwide. Federal Secretariat abuja was shot down in spite of police ban on them. Even when the sponsored hoodlums attacked them in lag, they weren't violent. They picked them all, overpowered and handed them over to the police. I was expecting them to shatter the 3 new BRT buses which brought the hoodlums to the venue of the protest but they didn't touch those buses. I've never seen such a united spirit as this in my life. The Northern youths would soon realise and appreciate this agitaion sooner or later by the time it begins to yield positive results...I hope they do. Even during the military era, instead of supporting democracy agitators, they rallied in solidarity with the military that time. Now, they're the major beneficiary of democracy. I hope they get it right someday. |
FoolaniBandit:#haaaaaaaaaaaaaa ![]() |
They're coming out gradually to deny what they did. The fear of the youth, the beginning of wisdom. Even that military are now choosing their words carefully |
Artiiclebeast:Don't mind the puppet. He lies a lot. The man who clImed he spent btw 100k and 1m naira treating just one covid-19 parent daily. 2023 would be end of the political career of most of them |
DonBenny77:hmmm. No more comments. I already know you by your expression |
DonBenny77:your comment is an attribute of a lazy youth spending one minute of your time to watch what he said won't kill you |
BeeBeeOoh:that's an attribute of a lazy youth ![]() |
adekolaelect:40% of the vehicles driven in kano don't have customs papers. They were brought in from Niger. You can't try such down south sars and customsgo do you shege. Go to kubwa express and see exotic cars line up for sale at chipe-chipe price. No single car has customs papers among them. Dem don cheat us for too long. The intelligent became mumu in his own country and no thanks to our greedy politicians who have failed to address the glaring inequalities cos of their selfish end. This is the beginning of revolution. The next protest would be on restructuring. By the time this happens, every region would fend for themselves and if they like, they should continue to drive document-free-vehicles let's see if their region would not make vehicle licences and customs papers mandatory. They've become so lazy that, they get virtually all their revenues from the south. Several northern states depend on the south for their living They keep pumping billions on ammunition and feeding of idps in various camps at the expense of south youths whereas they're the ones who caused the needless war and displaced people. We aren't saying they shouldn't pump billions in the north to fight the self inflicted war, if they spend 10bn naira on this, they should also spend same or equivalent amount down south to empower our youths who have chosen not to go the terror route. Enough is enough. |
Monoplik:he would definitely go the "slavery" route as usual |
