SmooshCHN1:Bro, E tire me. A team where one player makes all the shots no be OKC 2.0? I already knew they would lose today when I saw Derozan make all the shots. They are getting swept. They won't wanna fly back to Ohio after game 4. |
Kyle Korver issa weapon. |
If only Raptors could knock down 3 pt shots. 1/13 from deep meanwhile Cavs are 7/15. Lebron knocking tough shot after another. I don't know the spinach he took before the playoffs. It is working. |
52-49 at the half. Snoozefest of a game. |
Iso Iso Cavs with no ball movement. When all else fails, shoot threes. Kings of the east : ![]() |
Manutd19:You play every team differently. Jazz are a better defensive unit than Cavs and they kept making transition fouls to stop GSWs flow and slow the game down. If Cavs play that same way, they would equally have no rhythm as you guys don't play well slowing the game down. And all those 21 Threes, 19 Threes y'all keep making against Pacers and Raptors. Not going to happen against GSW or San Antonio or even Rockets. |
birdman:They won quarters 2 and 3 by a combined 8. Lost quarters 1 and 4 by a combined 19. Wide open bricks by Iggy 0/19 all playoffs (0-3 yesterday) from 3. Wide open midrange shots from D West (missed all). Switched to the smaller man with Shaun but couldn't hit a jumper all game. KD missing wide open 3s and 2s. Hayward making tough shot after tough shot all game. Still beat a tough 51-win team by 11. I choose to see the positives only ![]() |
Take aways: 1. We miss Kerr. 2. Iggy is 0-17 from 3 in the playoffs. He needs to do better many of those shots were wide open. 3. Shaun was better other days than today. Too many bricks from his sweet spots. 4. KD is still getting in groove. His shots did not fall but he influenced the game other ways. 5. Jazz strategy of keeping Klay off the ball works offensively and Brown needs to find his way around it. 6. If/when we win the NBA title, Draymond should be the MVP. He has been tremendous all playoffs long. 7. Special mention: Gordon Hayward. What a player. |
If Iggy and Shaun would hit wide open shots Draymond would be resting by now. |
This is exactly why I wanted the Jazz: so we won't relax and start playing lackadaisical basketball. |
We miss you Steve Kerr! |
Ian Clark and the 2nd unit just dey play nonsense. |
Wizards giving Celtics furo ibalopo. |
Kawhi gets all his calls. Harden getting outplayed like cray. Rockets have Anderson to thank for keeping them within 10. HT 65-55 Spurs favor. |
Harden's ankle must be hurt. He is short on his shots and basically everything else. |
Spurs relapsing to Iso-ball. Lead 50-46. LMA is getting into a groove. The pace of the game still favors Rockets. |
First quarter FT. Spurs lead 33-30. Ariza has turned house-builder and Spurs have played really well. Weird but with how well they have played they should be up by more than 3. |
Ryan Anderson seems to be in rhythm. Compared to the first round series. He is keeping his team in this. Spurs lead 25-19 as the game is being played in a crazy pace. |
Spurs knocking down shots earlier. Ariza barely in this game. Game 2 looks more like it. Surprised Spurs are coping with the pace of the game though. |
Iggy too damn cold from 3. Should be hitting those. KD still shaking off the rust, Utah should be worried 2nd half. Curry breaking ankles and giving me life while at it. |
There is a reason I wanted Utah. The games will be strenuous but we would learn from it. But refs need to be careful with their whistles so early. |
birdman:I said it about them before the playoffs. A mentally weak team. |
birdman:First quarter of game 2 will be very important because if you guys come out the block without the shots falling it could affect the team's rhythm. Sure, you beat OKC by playing good defense rather than shooting them lights out like you did the Spurs yesterday, but I doubt y'all would be able to beat Spurs without the 3-ball as they are experts at protecting the paint. |
Been checking Livescores for the Celtics game. Saw them down by 10 even into the 4th quarter only to check now and see them up by 3 with 7 mins to go. 102-99 Washington bottling company. |
He won't win WPOTY if RM don't win the UCL. We should channel our chakra towards ensuring that Juventus give Gigi Buffon a retirement gift and beat RM in the finals. |
sapiosexual1:The adjustments coaches make should not be underrated o. Last year, Pop beat Donovan by 42 points or so in the first game loss of OKC against Spurs- WCSF. Next thing, OKC stole game 2 and by series end spanked Spurs 4-2. I think both teams will steal home games of the other so I am not surprised that Rockets have stolen 1. Na after game 2 we go confirm if there is fire on the mountain. |
Kawhi getting some phantom foul calls. |
birdman:This game is gone. They might make the final score respectable but 30 is too much. Pop would make adjustments for next game. Perhaps Manu will feature more in this series as he has looked money. |
What a wow. 69-39 Houston lead. Largest ever deficit by Pop in playoffs history. I am shocked. |
SIRcumalot:He regressed this year. He was better his first season with them. |
Personally I think GSW marks the 3pt line better than Spurs and can match Rockets for transition buckets as we are as fast. Only issue now is rebounds and Harden's ability to draw fouls or use his open wings. Spurs are being run ragged but it is partly to do with poor shooting and rebounds. A lot of mins still to play for but I won't be surprised if Rockets close this game 1. |
The way Lebron spaces the floor and finds open men is incredible. Still hate him though. |
