Muna15:I am not whinning. But Lebron has 2 more rings? Not even if he was proposed to 2 times. Fax..no printers. |
In another unrelated news. Faze's "Kolomental" is proof that Curry lacks mental strength. ![]() |
Manutd19:How you people come up with these things cracks the hell out of me. KD was MVP in 2014. 2015 he got injured against GSW in a game he scored 30 points by half time and that was the end of his story. The only thing KD needed to do to get out of the conversation was to get injured. Again he is out of the conversation because he is injured even to the point that a younger Lebron (with a star-studded team) went 2-2 with respect to finals will all of a sudden become 2-0 on his last legs because KD will not be 100%. ![]() I hate to take anything away from Lebron but no matter how he or Kyrie played last season, Harrison Barnes makes 2 more shots either in game 5, 6 or 7 and Lebron is stuck on 2. Science again. |
birdman:Now anybody that sees the word "mental" will think you are saying he lacks mental strength. Oh, wait.... |
Triple double this triple double that. If he shared responsibilities more his team would have won more games. This is science. I never faulted his effort and drive - indeed, he is balling out of control. But the narrative that his team would drop to a lottery level without him goes the same way for even Lebron at Cavs or Harden at Houston. Harden's teammates are expressing themselves better because he is bringing them in. One thing Russell seems to have learnt in his last few games is the need to spread the shots and points. That's the only reason they have been winning games. Last game against Raptors he had 24pts, 10 rebounds and 19 assists and Oladipo had 23pts, someone else 10 etc. by spreading it they won the game. If he had had 58points I bet you, Raptors would have won. Harden was 8th last term and WBs OKC were 3rd. WB lost KD and Harden lost Dwight. WBs team sits 6th but Harden's team moved up to 3rd. If Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon played with WB, they wouldn't have received as many passes as Harden has been delivering. Then WB would have been battling Nené and Capela for rebounds. There is no way on earth you can convince me that WB in Houston would have had them sitting any higher than 3rd and that's what Harden has done. |
Phi002:It was conducted by their family doctor the same person who can print out anything just to save Davido's neck. They should go to a neutral party; Get it done. If he is not the father then he can move on with his life. Why block her and refuse to go to someone neutral? |
Phi002:All were conducted by the same family doctor. They should go to someone independent. Their voice grew prominently because Davido has easily accepted the 2 others that came after her. He is even legally obligated to undergo a paternity test. |
Ralphlauren:Maybe you need to read the exchanges him and Dele Momodu had. All that baby shower and the US trip were after the fact. According to Dele, Davido was ignoring her till she called him. Then he took the matter to Davido's dad and that's when Davido accepted responsibility. |
Ralphlauren:I don't think you understood the story. The girl is alluding to the fact that the doctor whose lab conducted the first DNA test must be compromised seeing that he is a family friend of the Adelekes. To prove her point, Davido's refusal to submit material for DNA testing coupled with the fact that Imade looks very much like the girl lends credence to the accuser's story. Besides, Davido almost denied paternity to Imade but was forced to accept it because Dele Momodu got involved. He also willingly accepted the other girl in the US because, well, she is in the US. Davido should submit material so it can be tested to ascertain his paternity or not. |
Yahoo1, I wanted to say the same thing but people will accuse me of disloyalty. I don't share the enthusiasm but I am still optimistic. Juventus do not concede goals at all and we have struggled against such teams especially when such teams are better than us at set pieces. I hope MSN deliver us somehow. As per the other fixtures, yes I am happy RM finally got some worthy opposition for the first time in years but I hope Bayern won't underestimate them. For all the chances that RMA seem to concede in recent times, they do not concede too many goals. Add to that, the fact that they seem to play with brawn and determination than skill and that game could be a potential banana skin for them (Bayern). I am convinced however that RM will not defend the UCL so I don't mind us meeting them in the semi's or finals (if they get there) as the jinx will definitely work against them. I won't be surprised if Monaco and Leicester win their respective games. ATM have not played well against teams that do not have the ball and Dortmund are pisspoor away from home. If they let Monaco create too many chances there will be no need for a second leg. Personally, I would have wanted Dortmund for Barca but I am keeping my fingers crossed. PS: Sampaoli is still a great coach. Nzonzi should not have missed the penalty. |
Wearing the uniform makes them grasp at an entitled victory and I urge him to maintain his clout and rebuff those lunatics. He is not a career custom's man and is not mandated to wear the uniform anymore than EFCC chairmen are mandated to wear police uniforms. What Nigerians should be concerned about is if he is carrying out his duty as the custom's head regardless of if he is wearing a uniform. I can't believe some dunces on NL are taking the side of those unpatriotic oafs in the NASS. |
Sadly, City did not lose because of Joe Hart. They lost because they lack experience WRT to the UCL and played it like an EPL or FA Cup game where you could miss a ton of chances and still pull a win. Aguero had 2 bury-able chances and Sterling was indecisive all game even when clean on goal. Imagine if Barca missed any chance against PSG if they would have gone through. |
Kawhi is not getting that much attention because NBA fans change opinions after every game. Russell is having a phenomenonal individual season but his team is 6th. How can he be the most valuable when 5 other teams are better than his? That's just like saying the MVP of the finals came from a team whose player didn't even get to the finals. We don't need to get emotional about things. What's the fuss about a triple double; a ton of those rebounds are forced. Dude is still wrestling his centers for routine rebounds from missed FTs like man - give it a rest, you are great. I only respect the APGs and PPGs because no matter what, those are hard to force. I still think the race is 3-way with LBJ having an outside chance but if Russell can somehow get his team to 4th- then he should share it with Harden or at worst win it. |
Curry still bricking them 3s. What is Ayeesha doing to him? |
birdman: ![]() |
SmooshCHN:I was like which kain juju be this? But he came out healthier. He is trying to facilitate because Klay was on fire but he might need to start shooting because our FTs have been bad. We have missed 5 of 8 now. |
Watching it. Klay is streaky. As soon as Orlando called a time out his shots stopped falling. He has bailed us out recently but we have got to do better in FTs and defensive rebounds. We slept in the last 3 mins. |
A40:No Drake slander will be tolerated ![]() Nicki Minaj said that line actually and it is not in the context the person who mentioned you is trying to make it seem. Nicki Minaj is referencing her album success and platinum singles sold as the reason she should be the rap queen as against Rémy Ma's viewpoint that bars and skillset should be the criteria. To justify this, Nicki argues that when Lebtards try to claim he is the GOAT what his naysayers point to is his 3 rings compared to Jordan's 6. In deed, people don't let the argument that since Lebron plays more positions than Jordan he should be greater. |
DarkRebel101:I read this and even the article you cited but I just found it interesting that Eminem already addressed this in his second verse of that very track. Even though I agree that Jay held his own in that track and wasn't garbage the way Nas' narrative depicted it. The 2nd verse: See, I'm a poet to some, a regular modern-day Shakespeare/ Jesus Christ, the King of these Latter-Day Saints here/ To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me as/ A monger of hate, satanist, scatter-brained atheist/ But that ain't the case, see, it's a matter of taste/ We as a people decide if Shady's as bad as they say he is/ Or is he the latter, a gateway to escape?/ Media scapegoat, who they can be mad at today/ |
Bimffo:This is so apt. Mou would not have cared as much had Conté signed a bunch of new players enroute to sitting atop the league. That way, he would be justified -The players were not good and he overperformed with them the previous year. But seeing this newbie not just top the league but do it with the same alleged washed-up players gotta hurt bad. |
If WBs team was 4th I would have wanted the NBA to give them a joint MVP but I fit bet my hand now that it will be Harden. |
SIRcumalot:Ok they won through beautifully crafted offense; moving the ball really well, not shoving Curry and Klay all game, shooting incredibly from deep and having a ton of assists with zero to negligible Iso. Not forcing offensive rebounds and getting 2nd choice put backs, not fouling Ezeli and Bogut and forcing them to go to the FT line, not drawing fouls and going to the FT line themselves and so. ![]() |
SmooshCHN:Chef always scores 25pt+ on his birthdays. Thank God it did not change. I don't know why Kerr took Klay off in the first quarter when dude caught fire and could not miss. For a second there it upset his rhythm. Still don't know what is happening to Curry's shooting. He missed open looks in the first quarter. Which is puzzling because in the pre-game warm up, one video reel had him make 70+ threes out of 80 that he took. |
Manutd19:Actually GSW shot badly which kept the game close. At some point we shot 33% to Sixers 47%. What kept GSW in the game prior to the 4th, was 3 point shooting which became better due to Klay primarily. |
Manutd19:All of us knew it would get harder but admittedly, not for this long. Coupled with the fact that Klay and Curry just couldn't make a bucket from 3 which is a strong part of our offense and defence (because it forces teams to mark us on the perimeter thereby creating easy alleys for other players to get to the opposition's rim). Happy with a close game. That is the kind of game GSW would have lost going by this season's antecedents but they seem to be righting the ship. |
SmooshCHN:GSW were actually playing well. What was worrying me again was the open looks that we could not capitalize on. Several easy dunks and layups just rolled off the rim. Also on the defensive end we had no answer for Saric or Jahil except when Draymond chimed in. But we are getting our groove back and finding our ID without KD. It did take some time but I believe we are getting there based on our 2nd half performances in the last 2 games. |
SIRcumalot:You are reading me one-sided. I know their bench is better than most. I know they have formidable scorers in Bron and Kyrie. I just said if they continue to play that 3-point shooting with a ton of ISOs they will beat most eastern teams but will struggle against western teams that play that brand of basketball better than them. Not saying they stand no chance of winning a ring at all - in fact I said they could, if they stuck to their grind and grunge way of playing like they did against GSW especially games 5 and 7. |
SmooshCHN:You know me; got tired by end of 3rd quarter so I crashed. Actually thought we would lose the game but I guess Draymond helped with the scoring. That guy was phenomenal yesterday. |
Fire on the mountain. |
Curry still shooting bricks from 3. Puzzling. |
SIRcumalot:Gee, the problem is Cavs did win a ton of games after Love's injury so bringing it up again is a hard sell. It is not offensively that they are not clicking - it is on the defensive end where opposition PGs waltz right through to make buckets. Houston game was 1 of 4 losses in that stretch of 5 games but was significant because it exposed the kind of offense Cavs will play against comparative big teams. I agreed the bench is better; but that's on Paper. I am yet to see how this bench will prevent opposition benches from scoring not necessarily about if they themselves will score any. A Cavs team with LeBron always has something to be optimistic about but not when they are going to be chasing the ball against ball-moving and good 3-pt shooting teams like Spurs, GSW and Houston who play better defense than the Cavs. |

. I think you need to stop whining about your team's failure to win the title last year and just pray KD returns on time.
