sapiosexual1:LOL @ 11Tovs. Jazz have been formidable ahome. They beat ECL a while back. Actually didn't expect Celtics to beat them on their ground. |
Russell always plays with his heart. I give him that much credit. Roland called it though- wasn't a contest. Can't believe Mavericks new run and how did Celtics beat Jazz away? |
^^ KD would use it as his fuel. |
bykebyke:I couldn't like this enough. |
Pidgin2:I weep for you. I actually thought you really believed in Nigeria but I guess you are just trolling same way you did on Frank Netter's thread. My advice for Maternal is to keep ad hominems aside and counsel the OP so he can make an informed decision. |
lolawilliams:Another satisfied groupie I mean Grizzlies. Hope OKC behaves the same way. |
Roland17:What I can't even understand is how Bron played more minutes than Russell in that game when he was supposed to be resting ![]() |
Lolawilliams, how are you? I just say make I laugh you this morning. ![]() Enjoy the rest of your day. |
SIRcumalot:Now that's how to get a triple double- when your team needs it. Even though he had 7 Tovs though ![]() I come dey fear Memphis today and we play OKC at Chesapeake after that. I want no victory for Russell and I need to revenge 2 Memphis losses already. |
SmooshCHN:Funny but his acting though ![]() |
Senator Bruce is being smart by half. That VP's gate was budgeted by GEJ's govt. Yemi Osinbajo was the one who spotted it out and said he didn't even need the new house Namadi Sambo was building for the office. Nigerians should be careful before gulping anything that is fed by the "elite". Ben Murray Bruce is a gravely dishonest man who prides in deceit and false humility. |
SmooshCHN:Weakening the opposition is another way to guarantee success. ![]() |
SIRcumalot:I can live with a missed lay-up or a bad KD game. I can let Draymond (recovering from a shoulder injury) take a pummelling from a much taller and bigger Demarcus Cousins. But, 3 OT losses this season? Something needs to be done about it. ATL to win because Hawks beat Houston recently and I think it is a sign. I don't watch NFL though. ![]() |
SmooshCHN:Every super player would have such games. What is happening to KD is what happens to a star that plays with other stars. A couple of games were Lebron is playing nonsense, they free Uncle Drew to salvage things. There was a game Kyrie put 49 this season I forget it. Lebron was turning the ball over like a kid with down's syndrome. Once KD realises it is not his day he let's whoever is dominating that day to do the business. It is team work. Like I said, my problem has been the OT losses and the fact that when things are close KD folds up. He said Curry always tells him to stop looking at the time or scoreboard as that could affect him. I am just happy every single mistake that can affect the playoffs is happening now: blowing leads, bad 4th Quarters, OT losses etc. The one nobody can do anything about is bad officiating for goodness sake. When you keep giving the home team imaginary foul calls you'd be demoralising the away team- just like game 6 of the finals. |
SmooshCHN:Yea man. I was surprised to hear he declined it that's why his injury is painful to me. It felt like a premonition. |
sapiosexual1:That's not why they lost. After all despite KDs rare poor shooting night we still lost by just 3. Things that were clear deciders will be all the fictitious foul calls refs started giving the home team as the game started slipping away from them. Really, this thing is for ratings. They already said they hated super-teams (the commissioner did) and he gave his reasons. We are just seeing subtle ways of executing how to stifle super-teams. Credit kings though. |
SmooshCHN:NBA showing again that they are the best team in the league because when they want a team to lose- the team loses. My only concern if anything is, Why do we stink in OT this season? We have lost all games that went into OT this season. Anyways nothing spoil. Still on course for 70 games but we don't care. My prayers are with Zach Levine. I wish him full recovery. |
We were undermanned as was The Clippers. No West, Livingston, Draymond and Zaza but we thoroughly outplayed them. I can effectively say they are totally out. On the other hand, Rockets seem to be in free fall. They fluffed a 20 point lead against the Hawks and at this juncture they don't look like a match for GSW anymore. I know Playoffs is another kettle of fish but I think that applies more to Houston than GSW. As for Spurs, I am still observing them keenly but March would provide the 2nd test in which we could fully gauge how far we have come since season-opener. Anyways, I typed all this to hide the fact that Curry has 200 3s this term making him the first NBA player in history to make at least 200 threes in 5 seasons. Yea, and his 3P% is at 41. ![]() |

sapiosexual1:Kawhi can do a job on Bron but it may affect his own numbers on the other end and he seems to be their main scorer these days. Well, nothwithstanding, they have Gregg and he is another cheat code in terms of managers. He always conjures something up to do a job when he needs it. |
SmooshCHN:But I told them the boy has looked different since Dec 25th 2016. He got his groove back it was clear as crystal. Even when he dropped only 20 against Cavs the boy looked sharp and aggressive. I was seeing the signs but people thought I wasn't being objective. This is another game he would have broken a record if he cared about it. God keep Chef in this health and mode in June. Let me see how he won't get a 2nd ring. |
SmooshCHN:They want to make a "statement". I don't mind it. They only beat us when we mess up ourselves- never really about what they do. So if they like let them get Russell Westbrook. |
sapiosexual1:Except they can get KD, Curry, Isaiah Thomas, Giannis, John Wall or another Lebron, they ain't winning sh**. In fact barring an Injury to any of the top 4 in GSW, we get Cavs in the finals, we are sweeping them. GSWs only issue will be a 7 game series against Spurs. That's what it looks like while Cavs may sweep almost everyone enroute to getting to the Finals. |
sapiosexual1:Equal but at least one of them is majorly responsible for his team's top seeded position and recent fortune. |
lolawilliams:As bad as they were, Lebron needed to block Iggy to keep Cavs in the game with 5 mins to go. You should be very scared. If your 2 best players have the game of their lives and the 2 best players for GSW (at the time) had their worst game yet you won by 5 points what will be your fate when the splash brothers just play a little better than they did last year? I can give you a hint. 35 point blowout win. |
lolawilliams:Yes he did mostly because he picked up a lot of points in garbage time in games his team had already lost like in games 1, 2 and 4. Game 4 was funniest because the numbers say he had 25points but like 15 of those points came when it was clear the game was won by GSW and the starters were rested. I am not taking anything away from him and his back to back 40+ point games with this 200 free throws . He did well in the finals.PS: I said Draymond scored the most points in game 7 and not that he out-scored Lebron all series long. Draymond dropped 32 points in that game 7. |
SIRcumalot:Anyone can make an excuse that's not the point. Is it valid? That's a good question. Before 2016 everyone kept claiming GSWs 2015 title came with an asterisk because most teams they met enroute to the final had lost a starter. Fine. Cavs made noise about how if they could win 2 games without love and Kyrie they would easily beat GSW in a finals so that was what 2016 was to show. Credit to them for getting a W. But the 2015 final was looking easier for GSW than the 2015 one until certain things happened. Whether you choose to accept those things now is debatable but those are hard facts. |
SIRcumalot:The game 7 was close so any heroics Lebron played against GSW would be worthy. If they had won by 35 points and he scored 34 points but 20 of it came after they led by 15 his 20 extra points would have had little consequence. Now that game 7 against Spurs was not close even though Heats won by 7points so Lebron's 37 points were not as significant as Ray Allen's 3 in game 6. |
SIRcumalot:Suspension makes it 3-2. No way NBA won't push for a game 7 especially when Game 6 is at Ohio. 3 dubious foul calls on Curry early on. Then Cavs ball well and get to is it a 25 point lead that quickly evaporates in the 4th Quarter. LBJ gets a rebound and clearly lands on Curry. LBJ flops as if he has been close-lined. Refs give Curry his 6th foul and eject him. Cavs lead stretches back to 14 and they win the game. Game 7 was game 7. I am sure you know Draymond outscored every player on the day but nothing is taken from Lebron. His big block on Iggy wins them that game. |
SIRcumalot:Little consequence because the game was not close and Heats were ahome. Game 6 was nail-biter because few seconds to go (I believe 3) and Heats take the L. Ray Allen's big 3 gets the game into OT. |
lolawilliams:It is the easiest thing to say when game six is within 5 points and the MVP is ejected. Or is it 3 dubious foul calls on him for clear steals and a blatant flop from Lebron? What other thing? Every pundit claimed y'all played better without K.Love in the series but you would turn around and say GSW only won 2015 because K.Love didn't play. LOL |
SIRcumalot:Atleast we didn't beg the NBA to make the teams lose their players. |
