Wenger never did back to back. And the difficulty of winning the EPL was not as touted in Fergie's day as it is today. Fergie had a top 2 or top 3. These days we keep hearing about top 6 yet the distance between the top team and the other 5 is not even remotely close.

Yes, they drew at Anfield. Same ground they lost last season but this time they had to draw by missing a penalty. And Liverpool were outplayed in that game particularly in the 2nd half. They are the "closest" contenders. LOL.

Winning the league is not the issue. The manner in which the difficulty of the premier league is being demystified by Pep is what we are talking about. Southampton is supposed to be a team in which one should struggle to win 2-1 or 3-1 on your good day. Not to beat them 6-1 and the scoreline still flatters them (as it should have been worse). Haba.

They have survived LFC away without him I think they can nick games here and there without him as well. It is UCL that he will be missed and that is where I feel they will be hurt. Liverpool are a Salah injury away from slipping up as well and in situations like this I always root for the previous champions. I expect City to bring in a DM in January but if they don't, Stones will deputize for Fernandinho.

A lot of hoopla is being made about LFCs chances (and rightly so) but I am not sold on other contenders yet.

And that second penalty was conned. Atkinson even pointed to the spot without thinking whereas, Zaha initiated that contact. Crystal Palace deserved their draw though.

Lacazette was bad all game. Unai set his team up wrongly in the 2nd half. They just defended and could not transition after winning the ball which kept them in their own half thus encouraging Crystal Palace to pile up the pressure.

He rushes and the thing is, that is the way he has been raised to shoot. Changing now will affect him. Why did he not leave? Because he stood 0 chance winning a seat in Kaduna without APC. He is actually stranded as it is. The primaries required for name submission is done.
