My God... Shout out to all mothers and women at large.. My experience has repositioned my focus about you. You are a rare gem and gift to the world.

The hospital asked me to be in the labor room, so I watched my wife grion, shout, beg for Cs, ask me not to let her die, ask me not to ever leave her.. I was crying inside bt i cudnt show it... Her head was all red and I prayed she doesn't run insane.. I have never seen her like this...she was in severe pain as contraction took place and cervix was at 7cm from 2am to 4.30pm when it dilated further to 8.5 - 9cm.
Even at 9cm, the lower doctors where saying we wud proceed to Cs at 5pm...

My God.. Is this what yall go thru?

God bless my wife.. I love you more in measures in can't quantify.. I respect all mothers and women..

I beg God not to take my wife cos I will nevr slget any like her...

I love u mariam

I just spoke with a doc and he claimed its being monitored.. Earlier we did ctg with a machine but he saying the monitor it manually,

That aside,

The head consultant at 3am said we have to watch her for two hours so by 5pm, we should expect the consultant.

Also the doc said she's now 9cm... But the 1cm matters somuch fo the baby to come out.

The contraction is more frequent.. My wife feels very weak atm

BA BA

Cs ws slated for 5pm after 2hrs wait from 3pm.

Wifey delivered at 10mins to 5pm

Code pink

White kid...

I return all glory to God....

What are the doctors, nurses saying, is the baby in distress, heartbeat nko.
that will be a pointer to an emergency CS

On another note..if you can tell wifey during contraction, she should relax( like she's surrendering) then open her mouth and breath in and out. That will help . Best of success to you and wifey

Thanks.. I will take note and check with the docs

I know some people can be quite nonchalant or ignorant of somethings. I will advise they monitor the heartbeat of the baby. Demand/request for it whichever way.
It saved my baby...prior to when I delivered her, they kept monitoring the progress of my cervix dilation. That's how (thank God for the gynae) the gynae came in some hours later and shouted why they were not monitoring baby's heartbeat. After I was strapped to the monitor, they observed that the heart was in distress and I was rushed for emergency c.s.
May God bring us in contact with good and competent practitioners. May we not experience 9months of pregnancy in vain.
It is well with your wife and baby. But please keep us informed.

You can still use the granite for the foundation work. You’ll also need it for other concrete works in the house

- lintels and beams
- septic tank and inspection chambers
- fence work
- gate columns
- compound flooring

Cavity wall is the wall that divide your flats.

Fence work has been done halfway with blocks, agte columns also, already erected,

Ok.. How can I guarantee the durability and capability of the stone dust block, these manufacturers seems not to be trust worthy...

Boss Pls recommend

You’ll need up to 200 bags for a twin flat.

Introduce columns at every corner of the house and the cavity wall. That should be about 12 columns.

You can share your building plan though for assessment and recommendation.

Considering the rising cost of building materials, I’d suggest you do precast parapet to save on cost and

achiever something good on low budget.

Since you’re building in Abeokuta, get good Sandcrete block (100% stonedust) and forget about having columns.

Ensure your external walls are 9inches block in case you want to go cheap on blocks.

OH my God.. I already purchased 30tonne granite on site... I wasnt informed of the option of stone dust block, because i would have loved to bypass the wahala that comes with erecting columns.. This is all just for the parapet.....

What can be done now?

Pls what's a cavity wall?

Buy and think of other areas to save cost.

Nigeria is on autopilot. Don’t expect any price fall on any of the building materials happening.

I don’t blame those who hike the prices. I blame the incompetent people at the helm of power.

Wishing you goodluck in your project.

It's a bungalow... A twin flat, 3bedroom & 2bedrrom...

Again, I plan to do parapet on it... Whats the minimum amount of columns I can have?

________

If you project is a bungalow, 150 bags of cement will take you far.

If it’s a duplex, buy up to 250 bags that can take you up to the first floor slab level.

Once again, think of ways to cut down your cost without compromising quality.

Veterans in the house, goodmorning sir,

With the price of cement, I was suppose to commenced my project next, all materials on ground except cement...

Whats your best advice, shiuld I proceed and get cement at this price?
Should I pend the project?

Are we expecting any decrease in prices in few weeks?

Pls advice...

Im currently having a vendor who sells for 3500,

Would it be wise to get like 150bags and store it for use?

Please advice

It’s way cheaper than all other types of parapet in the market and it can be retouched or you can actually change the color.

It’s kobocity’s answer to kobocitizens’ champagne taste on a lacasera budget grin grin

No be all of us dey build for Lekki

Cost of ding this for a 3bedroom flat with 60 linear meter
