When I asked about the pail and the basket you logically explained to me how the basket's hole won't let it retain water. You didn't say the basket's shoe or pin because our brain automatically recognises that the cut-out parts of the basket is called a hole. That is a logical explanation. It is a mode of thinking. You have logically explained.

Now explain this:

I have seen a man, you can even ask around fetch water with a basket and the basket had holes(if it doesn't have holes then it isn't a basket right ). He fetched water with it like you would fetch water with a pail.

Using logic explain the above.
