No he won't. Here is why. He'll be taught to pass exams in school not to know what he is doing. He might end up not passing the exams because he might WANT TO KNOW not to pass. The dim-wits we call teachers and lecturers will ruin hhis life before he realises.

athiesm is not a religion bros we are not competing for humans we believe everyone should use their head

i always tell people you cant be an athiest because of another person its personal you have to be the one to take that decision after you have carefully taught of it. please e no go pain us because we no they find followers abeg

nice one op I still hope I will get an evidence that there is a god because am seriously searching but till then I they my lane

Religion is sectarianism. We all belong to a sect. If your sect is bothered about God even if it is denying his existence then you are religious sect. In fact, you are more religious than people practising single religions. You use the book of different religions to attack them. USE is the word. This is why I regard atheists as dumb. I am not really a theist nor a free-thinker or libertine. What I am nobody's seen. I still let it fly when I'm regarded as either of the above but to call me an atheist is an insult to me. Y'all are dullards reading too much books.

Nairaland / General / Religion Is Not Your Problem Africans, This Is Your Problem. by Esdb3: 5:00pm On Aug 15, 2016
The problem of Africa is not religion like some of our atheistic friends will have us believe(that is why I regard them as confused). The problem of Africans is dim-wittedness, greed, hypocrisy, selfishness and cowardice and the lack of understanding of what patriotism means et cetra. In your minds, you want to yell "No! We have brilliant Sicentists! The Hausa people can kill without blinking twice.'
If this is what is going on in your mind, then I am afraid we are really dull in this part of the world.

See when I call us dim-wits, I don't our mathematical ability. I mean our inability to think and solve our problems. In fact, our inability to deduce our problems is a screamer! Like an atheist who would lead you to believe being religious is your problem. Our constitution doesn't quote verses from the bible neither from the quran. Our laws are based on logical moral thinking not on religion except in places where sharia is the way.[A place that will forever house dullards. You know where. (Hint: a place in Nigeria)]. So why would a man tell you your problem is Religion? Simple. He is dull!

If religion was your problem the way it is a problem in Saudi Arabia, you would have to practice it as them. Your laws would be scriptures and your constitution would be any of the books called 'the holy book'. Your Problem, one of THEM, is hypocrisy! Your Governors, Presidents rulers generally, are hypocrites. For example, the bible condemns fornication and party spirit. I don't need to remind us how our senators frequent runs girls and drinking to stupor. That same senator will go to church on Sunday or the mosque on Friday whichever he favours. Has he obeyed his RELIGIOUS command? Let's see firstly how following his religion would have helped or marred him politically. Bad Politics is why we are in problems.

Senator Fish.

The Religious command - "Don't fornicate or drink to stupor".

If he obeys - Obeying the command is not getting a big booty, perky bosoms(breasts), fresh laps and beautiful runs girl. Which if he did, he would have to pay the girl what she wants, to give him what he wants. If the senator who is probably married, likes her and wants to keep it going, she might assume the role of a gf. That will increase demands, and burden our(the citizens' money). The girl might want a range rover, a house and probably an i-phone 6+ which goes for over 300k now btw. Senator Fish would then turn to whatever is allocated to him to better the life of his country men to 'GET WHAT he Needs.' Which highlights another problem -'GREED'. If the senator is really greedy, he'll get another runs girl with even more arse and who's got whatever else in better quantity. Lads and Kittens, Senator Fish might end up spending more than 50 million naira on runs girls who he will occasionally take to clubs where he'll buy expensive drinks and most probably drink himself to stupor and fornicate afterwards with the risk of getting HIV and transmitting it to his wife and yet to be born kids which will further increase the strain on our country budgets.

If he doesn't obey - I don't think I have to highlight what will happen if he doesn't obey the command lol.

Some Atheists highlight the money Nigerians pump into churches and mosques as an evidence of how religion is ruining us.

Let me put one thing out there- the church and mosque are the two places people give money voluntary. Your taxes are not voluntary, but you pay them to ensure your country runs but we all know what happens to it. Dim-wittedness is still anyway why a man that earns a meagre 10k will pay tithe to church WITH A SENSE of DUTY when he does. I am not rubbishing paying tithes but the bible verse that commands it states that one-tenth of your harvest. 10k is barely an harvest and if you read deep you'll see they(the people of Israel) made big harvests.

On cowardice - How many of us are ready to protest the recent rubbish the government has been doing. Why are we not protesting Bukola's stay as the senate president? Why are we still going to work to pay taxes that will be looted instead of carrying placards and hitting the streets? I think I can answer. Because We are Cowards! We are afraid of getting shot! Or losing our jobs! Which in another perspective is really a right thing to do because you other Nigerian brother won't care if you lose your job or boy-cot his to help you get yours back because he doesn't want to lose his because his Nigerian Boss is a selfish bastard!

Thanks.

REVOLUTION IS COMING..

I dont believe in Christ and Bible so if you want to proof a point to me dont use either of the two as it will make ur proof baseless may be you should start with the proof How God the most high used his own handwritting to write bible.

Did you know if you were born in india or china, you probably wouldnt be talking about Jesus or bible so for the fact that you didnt chose ur faith, you cant confirm it is the way.

We have well over hundreds of religions all claiming they are the way to heaven.

Abrahamic religion came into Africa through slavery and i am not believing in it cos i seize to be a slave..

Too many unaswered question and if you ask, you are threathened with imaginary hell fire..why would God watch his own creation burn ..i cant serve a cruel, jealous God probably you need to change yours.

Religion has done more bad than good to this earth..

If our governement is good and everything is going on fine our churches wont be crowded as a result of pple looking for miracles that doesnt exist...with the natural resources in Africa, we dont need to fast 40days,40nightes to get a decent clothing and shelter..
.have you wondered why africa is the most religious and same time the most poorly developed, yes Its cos our leaders are bad, commiting at

Your statement is flawed and baseless. 40 people liking it shows we are very far from evolving like I've always feared.

When Bill Gates was asked if he believes in God, he replied 'no'. Like Arsene Wenger(the transfer market clown), he believes WE made it up. Then he was asked if he's taught his kids this - he replied 'No. I and (his wife's name evades me now), make sure the kids attend church. We can't overstress the significance of religion. Its moral significance.' The Taiwo dude mentioned something about being 'born into a religion as the reason why we chose to be religious'. As someone who has flirted with atheism but later concluded that atheists are either dull set of people who want to be free of the moral boundary, or people who have read too much and are confused because of the susceptibility of the human brain to error when making inference or Nigerians who want to show they are 'above the bunch' and who are seduced by the learned outlooks of an atheist because of how atheists have been viewed as read people, - Are we born into a religion? - 'yes'. This is not how to look at things. To get the scope of our different religions, we need to look into history. (God I hate typing into a box!) Let me pick Christian instead of Islam majorly because I was born into that, I've learnt a lot about it, and because I'm not a fav of islam not because of the historical conflict but because of it's setting. The discrepancies in it. I'm not saying christianity is perfect but you can't compare questions over the true colour of Jesus's robe before crucification with whether a prophet that also played general and had 13 wives( a few he married out of compassion) among whom is a girl he boned at age 9 is fit to be regarded as holy........

In the west of Nigeria, the yoruba lands, traditional religions were the norm. The earth just doesn't have history of worshipping a deity that dates back to millions of years simply because we want to. There is a force a part of us can't explain. Ogun, Sango. A lot of idols were on rotation. Our fore-fathers went about worshipping this idols for countless years.
Countless until the bible-baring ones came. We know how they captured some blacks' attention and how those blacks in turn waged wars upon their idol worshipping fathers. Christianity is only existing today because that war was won by you know whom. People followed the bible-baring ones because of some 'signs and wonders'. How dare me?! What the hell!! Did I just bring in miracles?! I have to stop there. See, because rejecting religion is rejecting God and rejecting God is rejecting the spiritual and rejecting the spiritual is really being a damned fool. The bible-baring men defeated your idol worshipping fathers spiritually and that is why christianity won and remains.

It doesn't seem like you don't believe whether God exists. You sound like you want religion gone simply because you think it is affecting Africa. I understand your concern as it is instinctive to find what is wrong with a place that's got things wrong with it. And it is also instinctive to compare what a place has and what it doesn't with other places. A large part of Europe are religious. America was built on religious tenets and the freedom of men. So you see, religion is not your problem here. It appalling when I read statements about how religion is our problem. My friend, RELIGION IS WHY WE STILL HAVE HOPE. I'll link you to an article you are prompting me to write with your comment. Hold a big chunk of your thoughts till you read it.
