Caleboha:Continue the good work of honest patrotism. The destination to our own civilized and better society is far due to many years of waste, cluelessness, corruption, polarization and religious division. I believe 2015 is a starting point......the clueless man will be sent packing and honest nation rebuilding will start. |
nice one |
I believe Nigerians should focus more on how Iyabo described us as Nigerians. We need to sit ourselves down and talk to ourselves. We should stop these politicians making fools of us. We allow these looters to steal us blind and we are here meddling in obasanjo'sfamily affairs. What Obasanjo wrote to Jonathan should be addressed by Jonathan. As for Obasanjo......when he had the best opportunity to rule and turn this country into a great nation....he messed up mistaking his wealth would grant him happiness for life.... now he wont go down in Nigerian history as a great leader but as a failed father and husband who should not be celebrated in the class of great leaders in the country not to talk of the world. |
Let us move from immature political thinking. Amachi knows he is not a saint but a right thinking person will not misconstrue his speech in order to score a point in the arena of opposition politics. The whole essence of his speech is to get people's consciousness awaked and take to the streets in protest until stolen monies are returned and the perpetrators brought to books. That way we are moving towards sanity in this country. |
ifyalways: lolIt is no longer an abandoned project as seeing is believing. It is 90% completed and cars have been dancing limpopo on that road Though I agreed with you on those people selling land indiscriminately in that area. |
The problem of the flooding on that bridge did not start with whoever is blocking the drainage, it actually started with those on the other side of the picture of the canal (posted)who built on the water passage. I had expected authority to take action all these years but I have given up on my expectation. I do not know those who are blocking the canal and was actually taken aback to see sane people blocking a canal. I did more research and was able to get some information that will be of help. There is another road from Ajiran (Ajiran is located at the deep end of Agungi road. It is about 4 minutes drive down the bridge....the new road is off ajiran road almost opposite Ajiran transformer before you enter Ajiran community proper). The road leads you straight to Jakande road giving you access to friends' colony. Then when you are plying that new road , you will see a big canal constructed to channel the water to the lagoon (EKO BA JE TIIII) apparently diverting water from the blocked canal. I was impressed when I saw all these. The new road also helps you to cut out the Agungi - Jakande 6:20 - 8:30 morning traffic. Twin blessings for us. Whoever is doing the new road is doing a lot of good job and I salute the effort. As for the blocked canal, the people doing it must make sure everything is perfectly done and left no stone unturned. I pray they will be able to find a lasting solution to the flooding problem in that area. I will post the picture of the new canal and the new road once I have taken them(you will fall in love with those efforts) Fashola , Father of New Lagos. |
nice one bro |
Kindly call 07055509118 if you want to sell a used complete functional dstv. Thanks |
In a very sane country....the wizkid should be charged with intentional inflicting of pains on fan. Stupid. |
It is not a big deal creating a job yourself. Nigerian youths have created millions of job for themselves that the same government asking us to be creative have ended up destroying them. A good example is a friend..... He has tried many things First was Okada business....government policies killed all his Okada Second was his laundry business....you know the kind of electricity we have in this nation Third was transportation....he lost the business to road accident due to bad road In a nutshell, we have a government that is not ready to help by refusing to carry out their basic functions of provision of good road, good policies , stable electricity among others Do your basic functions as good government and see if Nigerian youth are not hardworking. Nigeria is so blessed that our culture does not condone indolence....we are natural hardworking people but the corrupt system is breeding laziness in us. |
Mr.T Anonymous:Common on! There are no poor members among them. All are rich. 'It takes a spirit man to believe that" LOL They do not have poor members.........lol Infact, how did I come across this thread ![]() |
Good move by FG. I hope CAC will not come with some hidden and stupid charges to negate the effect of the reduction. |

They need to be more specific..are the brt buses that have been turned to Molue included? Seriously speaking some brt buses are no different from proper molue. Some need to be discarded or sold off. |
Thanks @op |
nneh1: For God's sake why is it that all the countries that felt God in the past are muslims. Eygpt, damascus, jordan etcAfter the death of Jesus Christ and persecution of Churches began by the non-christian, christians were forced to scatter around the world and most of the scattered christians began evangelism with serious vigor and zeal. I believe places in the middle east( Egypt, Jordan among others) were hot beds for evangelism at that period and civilization was much more pronounced in places like Athens, Greeks where information was easily moved round and people were more open to receive other people's view . To put it mildly, Middle East has always had a strong views of things (Middle East Uprising is an example), very unopen and extreme and such position can be conquered through force ORDINARILY SPEAKING. Though many of them were pagans at that times, It took series of wars to convert them to islam. Such methods were not the way of early christians and neither is it biblical. |
By the way people are handling religion, messing with the basic tenets especially the leaders of religion....there will soon be religious revolution. |
All these letters coming out of Mr Suntai's pocket should be investigated and if found that it is the wife writing them....then that is lawlessness at its peak. It is high time all these first ladies realize their limit and should not take the law and nigerian sensibilities for granted. Not surprised anyway.....they have turned politics into DO-OR-DIE |
Hate him as you may, that dude stood up against the tyrants of the military in Nigeria and got jailed severally, something many so-called lovers of Nigeria were not bold enough to do. He spoke against the ills of government even when there was obviously nothing in it for him. His alliance with Buhari will remain a dent on his reputation but no man is above mistakes! It may have been one act of selfishness but he is only human. His critics easily forget when he spoke vehemently against Abacha and even allegedly prophesied his death, was that selfishness and hypocrisy too? undecided God bless sir. Most unfortunate is when somebody is speaking against an intention to contest because the contestant is a pastor. There is what is called THEOCRACY just as we have democracy nowadays. Understand what that is all about. There was a time in the bible when the affairs of a nation was directed by men of God. Right from time , Men of God are supposed to be the ones leading the affairs of nation but since dogs have hijacked the affairs...religious people believe it is now a forbidden zone for them. So these days, Men of God prefer the comfort zone of collecting tithes. If you are the light of the world, do you think the light is meant for your sitting room? Men of God's sheep are being denied good hospitals, good roads, good education, employments, justice, stable supply of water, stable supply of light, good policies among many others and the Men of God are silent and happy to collect just only tithes. A good Man of God ,I EXPECT, should speak against these numerous injustices against his sheep/congregation. So if people leading the affairs are not getting it right, then for the sake of his congregation he should lead the affairs! |
With different stories and confessions of being molested or having consensual sex with your pastor or imam, can we come out to share your experiences |
Gradually relief is coming our way. Competition is getting stiffer and the slow and corrupt will be flushed down the pit like tissues papers. |
Mr Aboki you have a point! Furthermore, why should it be an officer....a custom officer of hundred of people that usually flood the port. Custom must investigate! |
All these internet dogs of PDP...I wonder how they think sometimes. If PDP loses nine governors and your are here shouting victory I really do not know what is wrong with simple logical thinking. Among these were governors who used their state machineries last election to win votes for GEJ despite all the noise and opposition from the North that they deserved the automatic presidential slot based on their party rotation scheme. And we are also taking about governors who could use their influence, incumbency and state machineries to gain votes forming another party and you are here insulting logics that GEJ will coast to victory. Do you mean coast or GEJ will be exiled to Ivory Coast after his 2015 defeat? For the record, it is evident that GEJ only has South-South and a good part of South -East to win. He is a loser in the South West and if the news eventually becomes true ,he is a big loser in the North. This is just 2013 . The PDP internet dogs should be more concerned about the possibility of PDP losing more key party members and governors before 2015. |

I will like us to share (for those who have had an accident either while driving, crossing or in the car). Let us learn from it. Mine happened while i was driving. I just got the car like 6 months and i went to pick a friend at UI Ibadan. On my way to Sango in Ibadan, chatting away with my friend and at the same time full of high spirit garnished with the proud feeling of now belonging to the big boys in town, I did not know I was already approaching a sharp bend. At this time ,I was driving already towards the sharp bend breaking the traffic rule "concentrate all the times while driving" and it became too late by the time I realized I was not driving the straight expressway anymore but towards a sharp bend. Gbua! Gbua! Gbua! I somersaulted 3 times and the last somersault was in the gutter almost into the canal. It was late but trust our people's inquisitive and sympathetic spirit.... the whole surrounding became alive. Within seconds we were surrounded meanwhile I was already out of the car because I was not wearing the seat belt (something I would not do again no matter how short the distance I am driving). I felt a huge pain in my chest but it vanished immediately people started asking how I was. Nothing happened to my friend but people could not believe we drove the car judging by how badly damaged the car was. I live to thank God for his safety |
pele. It is well. Hope u got the loan elsewhere |
since you are this young, i will advise that you go to school and while you are there begin to do your business networking. It will help you a lot. Schools dont make you a rich man, but makes you a better and more informed person. Do not compare the drop outs abroad with the drop-outs in Nigeria. Most drop -outs abroad are already informed due to the level of exposure over there and the level playing ground. In a nutshell, school more and while at it expand your business knowledge. |
