You don't forgive when repentance is the last option, it has nothing to do with superiority.

The superiority argument came in when you talked about rulership,
a topic not related to a wife that had to wait 2 years before admitting she was wrong.

I called BS when you said the man should do better, when there is a disaster from a flood as result of a broken Dam, do you blame the flood or you blame the person that broke the dam?
When do you forgive please?

Rulership ke?

The woman is not here, how do you expect me to dwell on her wrongs.

Maybe to please you, I should say "She's wrong, he shouldn't forgive, the children should be abandoned to prove his superiority. Case closed.

Yeah run,
Because you can't hold women to the same standard.
A woman destroyed her home and you are here telling the Man to "do better".
Thank God not every woman on the planet are like you.
I'm not running but rather not engage.
She did wrong no doubt but she has now apologized. Superior men don't forgive?
I'm a unique person of my own who'll be 5 years in marriage next month and my spouse isn't opening threads up and down seeking for help.
We have challenges, we acknowledge our wrong, apologize and try to make it work.

Don't deflect stick to the point, I asked you to highlight in your post where you blame the woman as you are blaming the man for the mess those 2 are in now.
You that deflected by engaging in superiority contest no see that one.

read this again and highlight where you blamed the woman the same way you blame the man in this your post

And for the record men are far more superior rulers than women. Know your place or you will lose the advantage God gave you.
Does blaming the woman improve the situation?
🤣@bolded
We've seen the impact of your superiority in how we're faring as a nation.
Did 🇳🇬 lose it's advantage upon never been ruled by a woman because I'm not getting your assertion.

Ofcourse non of this was her fault. it was a mans fault.
Your likes and accountability are like vampires and sunlight.
Where did I absolve her of any wrongdoing?
Why must you be condescending to pass a comment?
He admitted she has apologized (remorse by holding herself accountable) and willing to move on which is commendable, so why dwell in the past?
I've seen your likes and accountability like human and oxygen and we have a country ever ruled by men in this state of DISARRAY.

Women can stay without sex for a prolonged period even if they were active.
It's possible she was chaste during the separation but you weren't on your part but as a man, society will say it doesn't matter.
You have seen that it isn't greener on the other side and thank goodness she wasn't caught pants down but she got insulted here as though she was caught pants down.
Ensure that you address the reason for the emotional infidelity for it not to happen again.
You're not perfect either. The way you lash at women who don't reason with you here, don't continue in that same path at home towards their mother as your daughters are seeing you if you eventually reconsider. Set the standard of the husband they should long for.
All the best.

It's better you switch to marketing before it's too late. Banks jobs generally are stressful.
The thing with retail is that he must have built good relationships with customers he'll leverage on before he moves.
If he were to be in Lagos, he should apply for head office roles as his grade can always be accommodated.
What professional qualifications does he have to give him an added advantage for a strategic unit.
Although man proposes and God disposes, one still has to plan.
The image I attached, in branch you cap at DM, retail will not get to AGM but HO can get to AGM and beyond.

That's good then. But the meat sharing, how much quantity(kg) and price did you buy and pay for that it last you that long?
It was a cow shared by 6 people but I left my home in January to pursue a course and hubby is alone hence the availability.
Also the meat was stored unwashed.

You can also stay in a hotel and when the class starts, you guys group and share spaces.
There's always a way, explore ALL options and think outside the box.
Congrats.

OP, do you want to be poor because of your sister's children?
You and your mum need to have mind.
How did you guys fight for custody without having wherewithal?
Even the Bible said who builds a house without first counting the cost.
You guys enabled your sister's behavior to birth up to 3 children. It's embedded in your write up.
Give them back to the dad but involve the relevant authorities.
You're too young for this. Focus and grow, when you are buoyant, go and fight for custody.
Raising 3 boys by aging grandma.....una wan kill am.
Aunty Poco and others have advised you but kindness that'll become RAGE and FRUSTRATION in the future is beclouding your sense of reasoning.

My exact same thoughts as well. How can a teenager be even allowed to go anywhere outside her neighborhood without proper notice to her parents. A teenager is still a kid and most people/parents still dont realize this. These kids need a lot of close supervision.
As for me until u are 21 and show a good level of responsibility you dont have the right to move around anyhow and even at that 21 so far u are under my roof u comply by my rules.
May God help them find this young girl safe and sound.
Amen.
It's obvious she has been going to far places as nowhere in the article was it stated that she wasn't allowed to go such distance.

My question is this:
Why do some of us act this way? Even after spending thousands of pounds to "japa" from Nigeria, some people still choose these dishonest paths abroad and continue to blame the Nigerian government for their actions. Although I could press further and get him arrested, I’ve decided not to be the tool that his “village people” use to bring him down.
You're leaving him to continue in the scam business therefore endangering people?

This is the mindset of "As long as i'm not affected..." I have never worked as a SE in any bank, all I know is every employee, regardless of their field, deserves better. Condoning this sets a harmful precedent for future staff, cause there will always be more. What's wrong is wrong and we need to nurture the habit of calling them out.
Ok sir.

I look at the dates before I purchase and it's lifespan with me is minimum 2 months, max 4 months.
The carton of formula I bought expires in October 2025 and my girl will outgrow it by then. She does a tin for a week and I bought 12 to last her till December 2024 as it'll get to 8k before then the way we're going.
Thanks for your concern.

To get a picture of how bad it is, there is a branch on the island that forces its tellers to stand while working. For hours, nobody deserves that.
I read about it on LinkedIn and I thought to myself that that's the height of it.
Would I stay with leg pain for months, I'll leave my oga.

I used to have that fear of the unknown to change roles but a colleague told me that opportunities abound and I have been seeing and a relative got a job in an oil and gas firm from a job board.
Ask them when last did they apply to jobs, a colleague said some don't even have CVs.
I remembered when conversion exam was happening and the SEs that were supposed to be practicing were always on Instagram during their spare time, or is it one that told me she hates mathematics and doesn't want the stress.....
Those in my circle knows that I always encourage them to leave the system especially when young.

Can you hear yourself? Calling out an employer that treats their staff like trash is bad mouthing them? It's people like you that makes these people get away with the atrocities they commit.

Coming here to yarn nonsense. Is the Nigeria of last year the same as now? who can afford to leave their job regardless of how bad it may be in this time? And you say they are not trapped. With all due respect to whoever you may be, you don't have sense.
Why can't someone afford to leave their jobs oga especially having experience in the branch of a bank when they can be transfer the skills elsewhere.

I'm on job boards and there are vacancies oooo.....some with poor remuneration.

I tell SEs that you first have to work on your mindset and if you conquer that, you'll never be trapped in a poor system like contract staffing.
I've worked in a Lebanese firm where the blacks don't have privileges and we called ourselves contract staff as the expatriates were treated better, instead of me to stay and wallow in my misery of unfair labor practice, I left.

I used to get Quickcredit from GTB, which is paid back to GTB with interest; payment is spread out over a period of one year. I used a good chunk of the loan to buy food items in bulk. As the year went on, I discovered that the savings I made from price of the food items due to continuous inflation was more than the inerest payable for the loan. Unfortunately, my place of work began to pay salary so irregularly that I could no loger qualify for GTB Quichcredit.
I'm sorry about the experience.
That was a great way of cost minimization.

It's very much true. Maybe in another Nigerian era, they could leave in a whim. Alas, they are trapped in that awful organization. They don't value their staffs one bit, and it pains me for them.
Who trapped them?
The SEs I worked with, one became an ASM with Palmpay last year, four are in UK, two will be core staff by January, 1 is a car dealer and a teller, another 3 have businesses and cash balances more than myself.....I can keep counting based on the former branch I worked. This happened last year apart from the other business owners.
When I see people trying to tarnish the image of their employers, I ask to what end.
If you've worked with SEs, you already know those that will grow within, leave and those that'll STICK to the system and become aggrieved in the long run most times.
The system doesn't favor them but it should be a stepping stone for something better. Core staffs are told to have their exit planned the day you start, why should an SE be different?
Core staff remind themselves that they begged to apply when aggrieved as most aren't headhunted, so why should an SE that obviously applied for the role come out later to badmouth their employers when they know that the role has no career pathway.
I hope their welfare will be improved but any SE should please have an exit plan mbok.
