If you consider the fact that she's going to be fed 24/7 and given accommodation, plus the occasional clothes, health-care and other benefits, one can understand why they are offering such an amount. Although personally 40-50k would have been better in my opinion, but that's just me.

Come to think of it, do you think those that go from far distances like Ikorodu, iyana ipaja, Ojodu Berger to the Island everyday wearing suits and tie inside hot public transport to go and collect 70-100k, from which they have to pay for transport, house rent, feeding, healthcare etc, do you think they're better off financially at the end of the month than the maid described above?

He tarred roads,trained artisans, secure FG jobs to members of his constituency, shared cars,motorcycles, multiple trailers of rice,share monies in hundred of thousands/millions, drill borehole in all the wards of 3 LGC(PKK), built and renovate schools, free jamb registration for all ss3 students in his constituency, street lights in all LGCs,etc
