Is Ottawa your VO then? If it is, why them still dey delay you? Cos you AOR isn't so recent naa. Abi? I hope the gcms request triggers PPR o.

I'm guessing it is, because it went from CIO to CPC Ottawa undecided and nothing has been done again on the file since April (meanwhile AOR is March 7). I think the fact that Security and criminality checks have not been started yet is whats causing the delay angry. Eligibility is passed and the Case Analyst recommended "Pass)

Finger crossed, we are waiting for the good news too

Lawyers please I need help. So my friend about get a gift deed/affidavit from his mum, his father is late over 2years.. The mum sent the money to him through one of the fathers account. So in the alert/SOA it shows the fathers name and Estate, e.g. Julius estate.
1. Pls Should it be indicated in th gift deed and affidavit that she is the sole signatory to the account?
2. The transfer teller receipt and printout will be attached. Is SOA from this donor account still necessary
Thank you as I await your responses
Cc Ethelia

It shouldn't be a problem at all. Highest she can mention it in the Gift deed and also attach evidence that shows she is the administrator of your father's estate and account signatory.

SOA from donor is not necessary/ compulsory

Not enough for a ban,abegi.

I was replying to your statement on what the worst possible scenario could be ooooooooooooooo before you and Osaze crucify me.

I also said above that its not serious enough to warrant a ban!

Exactly also why did the VO not ask for clarification why wait for 5 months + before responding

Lol funny guy. Firstly I don't know if its compulsory for the VO to ask for clarification. I have seen cases where the application is refused without any warning.

Secondly his application hasn't reached 6 months, so technically it is still within the timeframe for processing.

I don't think that's actually a misrepresentation given that he didnt even attempt to claim it based on the documents submitted. That was just an oversight because the VO won't have even know anything if he had attempted to claim 3+ years, all he would have done is to combine the two reference letters as one and make it between 2014 -2017 at a go without that gap which he clearly didnt.

When filling his pre-ita form didn't he claim 3 years work experience (which boosted his score?). He didn't pay sufficient attention to his documents if not he could have done as you said.

Now it appears as if he claimed what he doesn't have / didn't prove.

The way I see it , he has 3 choices: raise a CSE , withdraw his application, wait and pray it gets approved

So what should he have claimed since he’s over 2 years ? This is a grey area Canada must clear

Meanwhile for me I claimed over 3 years o
My 1 year nysc experience & 2+ years of current work but there’s a one year gap between them

Don't use your own situation to cover his. His total years of work experience is 2 years 10 months which is not up to 3 years, talk more of claiming 3+ years.

Your total years of work experience is more than 3years. Having 1 year gap in between is a different matter.

Do you know how many people have not entered the pool because they are waiting to hit that 3 yr mark? Some people have 2 years 11months and 15 days work experience and they still haven't joined the pool because they realize that Canada does not approximate to the nearest whole figure.

He has not misrepresented himself calm down

He claimed 3 years working experience when he has 2years and 10months working experience. That is a misrepresentation. Is is serious enough to get him banned? Most likely not, but it is a misrepresentation all the same.

The thing is what do you can you have to show raising a CSE? He should have waited to claim the exact 3 yrs.. They check all these! Anyway, the worst will be reapplying.

Hmm, the worst will be getting refused with a ban for misrepresentation........

Make I first appreciate the guys for this thread. Una too much sha.

Lol, reading your post made my head ache, walahi! grin I agree with you 100% though.

You see those Indians that we are looking at with side eyes, they don't joke with their IELTS preparations. They register for classes and take intense studies because they know they are not very good. But the average Nigerian has the attitude of 'no be the English wey we day speak every day?" I know because I was almost a victim.

I've never shared my Ielts story or result here because I am saving it for PPR announcement grin but lemme share small grin I never practiced my writing, not even once. I read up on the test format and answer structures twice ad boldly went to take the exam with my full chest grin.

In the exam hall my hand started freezing!! I've gotten used to typing on a keyboard and phone that having to actually write with a pencil and paper became a challenge. Now imagine knowing what you want to write but your hand is cramping up and hurting cry cry cry I barely made it to the conclusion as I was writing one word at a time. Who even dash me extra sheet?

I was expecting 6.5 / 7 at the very most but alas result came out and I had a 7.5 (my lowest score wink). So the lesson in all this is never be too confident that you don't practice.

And with these points of mine, I hope I have been able to convince and not confuse you that practice leads to perfection, thank you.

Well, I have never evaluated any degree before nor applied for EE.
I asked just to be certain if the Passport number is written on the evaluation result or not.

Fret not, its just for identity confirmation. The report does not contain the passport / ID number

Good morning all.

I sent my degree to Iqas for evaluation; however, I am yet to send that of my wife because her passport is not yet ready.

My question is can I evaluate hers using her National ID Card as stated in Iqas website. I also called and I was informed that any form of National ID card will be accepted.

Is it ideal I go via this route?

I like seeing new and interesting questions like this, not everytime WES grin

Since its stated on IQAS website that they accept it, what other assurance do you need from us? you even called them and got a positive confirmation.

Really don't know what to do now, I am at 410 was hoping on using this ACCA F1-F3 to get more points I have even registered for the exams. After seeing that it is evaluated as one semester, the zeal of preparing for the exams has left me sad

Don't be, you have already registered for it so please give it your best shot. It just might get positively evaluated especially since you are writing all 3 papers and not getting any exemption smiley

I don't even understand being a good writer. I have always been a good writer. I know because my essays were always read in class and in the Uni too because I always got good grades for my reviews. I wrote IELTS way back in 2012 for something I was pursing. My writing score was 8.5. Today I got my IELTS result from BC and my writing score is 6.5. I am very sad and because I am sure , I am going to ask for an EOR. My result from IELTS today has discouraged me from the trust I had in this process .

Don't be discouraged, IELTS has a way of 'humbling' people. Also consider the fact that many other things could have gone wrong on the exam day (e.g writing off point, not enough words, wrong use of grammar). Despite all the confidence you have going in, its still an exam and nerves could get in the way.

I like your confidence though and I pray you get a positive outcome in your EOR smiley

Please everyone here I need an advice. I am yet to start my EE because I want to get a clarification on my work history.
I had a working experience for three years but I do not have payslips nor statements of account. The new job, I am just a year in it. I have all documents.
Please, how can I go about the three years that I do not have payslips or account statements for??

The ONLY compulsory requirement by IRCC is the work experience letter. this matter has been over thrashed in the previous threads. Do you need the points from the extra 3 years? whats your CRS score using only 1 year working experience?

if your points are high enough with just 1 year experience then go ahead with it since it will make you sleep better at night, otherwise, get the reference letter for the 3 years experience and any other supporting document you can get (if you want) and take the plunge!
