Good evening everyone..

Glad to be here, just submitted EOR for ielts for 8.5,7,6.5,7, hopefully I get a positive feedback soonest.

Please what can he do cos he got married legally 3weeks ago and his ticket is for this month

Sadly, there is nothing he can do about it. He has to inform CIC otherwise he will never be able to sponsor his wife.

Congratulations. How long did it take? I'm assuming you submitted at VFS Dubai right? A friend submitted about 1 week ago and he is still waiting to get COPR

Thanks. I think this is the closest to what I did. My issue is to decide on what I should use as my designation when I did my Nysc.Since I served in the Budgeting department, what do you think I should make my designation.

Your thoughts?

Thanks

Let me give you an example; Lets assume you worked as an Accountant during your NYSC period. Let them use the designation of Accountant in the letter or Accountant - NYSC. Simple.

Very annoying thing. Over-syllabus. Seems to be a rookie to me. If they want us to start submitting reference letters for our work experience whether claiming points for or not, they should let us know and make it official.

Exactly. The process and requirements should be uniform. Same way some people are asked to submit reference letter for spouse employment that's in personal history angry They should streamline the process and requirements and stick to it

Nothing of such in all the notes (1 to 12)

He/She seems more concerned about the part time job (which you are not claiming points for). Over sari London people angry. I'd say raise a CSE and submit the additional documents you have for the 3 years job (try to also include something that shows payment e.g pay slips/stubs,bank statements, etc.) and also include an LOE expressly stating that you are not claiming points for the part time job which is why you have not submitted documents for it.

Good day house, so my gcms note came today and VO made a note about his concerns about my experience which I believe was what prompted an interview.

My questions..
(1) Since I got to know about the VO's concern now through the gcms note, can I raise a CSE and submit the documents and clearly explain the situation or should I wait to have the interview (Accra hasn't given me a date)

(2) Has anyone submitted additional documents without the VO's request after checking his OR her GCMS note?

thanks all

I don't think there is any harm in submitting the documents upfront. It might satisfy their curiosity and they will end up cancelling the interview request.

Good morning Beautiful Family,

Thank you to everyone that dropped encouraging words on my previous posts.

I am so much at peace now and not under any stress again. London VISA office, you can't give me high blood pressure!

It is well, delay is not denial. God is working it all out for your good and all the lines are falling in pleasant places.

183 days within a 12 month period. So 6 months consecutively within 1 year.

Thanks for clarifying that smiley

you're welcome. You should consider staying 6 months though. Refund costs with interest accrued years later easily runs into 6 figures.....plus rules change everyday. Last year a dui for a pr meant nothing, this year it could mean inability to renew pr. It's ultimately your decision though.

Hmn, I understand and I've been seriously thinking about it. The 183 days requirement, must it be within the first year? or is it like pr card renewal that can be fulfilled within 5 years?

Thanks.

Hi.

I hope this helps.

Thank you very much, you have been most helpful!

The short landing will likely be for around 3 - 4 months. So long as the penalty will just be to refund costs (not that I'll loose the PR status), then I don't mind repaying the medical bills if it comes to it... I have family in Alberta if not I would have just gone to Toronto and paid upfront to avoid the future worries.

Thanks once again grin

Good day everyone it’s glad to be here.

Good you already know the right thing to do. Decline it and wait until you get your correct details from WES. To avoid stories that touch the heart. IRCC is not like Nigerian agencies that listen to plenty abeg and explanations

Hello all
Please I am the primary applicant in the application.

Can I also use my husband's Fixed deposit certificates and statement of accounts as well as mine as proof of funds.

Yes you can. Although it's always 'neater' to have all the funds in your account/under your name, all he has to do is prepare a declaration saying you have complete / unencumbered access to the funds in his account / his fixed deposit funds and have this notarized (to make it stronger) and I believe you will have no issues.

My testimony below.

I am so very happy for you! Almost shed tears reading your testimony cry It is well with you. I wish you the smoothest journey going forward.

Regarding the ADR after PPR, I guess this may have been triggered by the fact that your husband is no longer resident in Nigeria. Anyway I am glad you finally won the battle #Jesusdidit

Thanks for responding to him. I have similar challenges. I lose concentration at a certain point and I struggle with anything map. Your thoughts.

Thanks
Loosing concentration is a common problem. Try to minimize distractions and focus 100%, remember you cannot rewind the tape and when you miss an answer, it can be hard to get back on track.

For maps, try to practice using pencil on paper. As the speaker talks, use your pencil to trace the directions on the map, doing this is very helpful even when they try to trick you with wrong answers.

I wish you the best.

Hello house. Am currently studying for IELTS. I try to practice at least 2 listening tests daily (I use ieltsonlinetests.com and Cambridge IELTS 12).
Am getting very concerned now. Never gotten up to a 36 (am always within the 28-32 band), in all my practice. How did you all do it?

Pls what could I be doing wrong. Can anyone point me to a good study material, so I can improve. Kindly assist. Thanks in advance.

Try to find out why you are having low scores; Are you loosing concentration halfway? are certain sections giving you problems? Is it your spelling? Do you have issues understanding the accent of the speakers?

Try to narrow down where the problem is coming from and then we can help you tackle it.
