Ogegod87: @op, thanks 4 topic. i've actually tot about startin a thread lyk dis, especially about d ongoin hyundai ix3. i mean, r dey 4 real? has anyone won it yet?Two weeks ago on my way home, I saw someone driving d Hyundai car painted in MTN colour without plate no, don't know if it was one of the 'phantom' winners or na one of MTN Ogas dey drive am to convince us that such 'blessings' do exist |
I am still trying to understand how the egg heads in MTN came about this new wuru-wuru. Like someone posted, they certainly know that some nigerians will certainly fall for this and when u try to calculate what they are likely going to make from this, considering their customer base, it's mind boggling. And I wonder what percentage goes to the top 'ogas' at NCC |
When I saw this advert on the front page of a national newspaper, I couldn't help but laugh. If MTN has so much money as to give out a brand new plane, then there should be enough to take care of the network problems we are experiencing at the moment. Come to think of it, how many of these (previous) prize winners has anyone, on Nairaland, seen? Or has anyone on Nairaland won anything from any of the network providers, apart from the occasional free credit? Please share your story |
Got this from a job site I subscribed to: Fidelity Bank is recruiting and u can send ur CV to: careers@fidelitybankplc.com and for those of u in Lagos, u can drop it by hand@2, Kofo Abayomi street, Victoria Island. Also Citibank (but requires BSc 2.1), walk in and drop ur CV@27, Kofo Abayomi street, Victoria Island However, when contacted, Citibank Customer Service disclaimed the advert but added that 'nothing stops anybody from submitting his/her CV to the bank'. With this, it will be wise for those outside Lagos to get someone living there to help them with their CV submission I hope this helps someone out there |
It doesn't matter who is more beautiful or handsome, the most important thing is they love each other just the way they are and are willing to make things work. No one is ever perfect. The so called 'ugly' girl cud just turn out to b a great wife n a wonderful mother, and I believe that'd make Teju a contented husband. I wish them the very best! |
I was a bit surprised and of cos proud, when I heard Dbanj's Oliver Twist being played during d break in a table tennis match btw Hong Kong and China, early this morning, in the on-going Olympics. D koko master has really done alot for himself ![]() |

i am a little confused here cos i woke up one day and nairalist.com was 'dead'!!!! The properties section used to be an avenue where people meet and share what they have to rent/sell/buy. The properties section here (Nairaland) is quite comprehensive, but not specific enough. U come on and u dont know what is on for Abuja, where i live. I think the site shud be returned |
@SuyaEater, it truly depends on ur taste. u could buy and remodify it, but due to flexibility, i'd suggest building from the scratch that's if the person has the capital for such |
mens dept:so what do u suggest? i think we had some good ones in France '98 |
Fellow members, i am a bit confused here and i need help. I have been hearing in so many quarters, even from U-20 coach John Obuh, that the reason why the team lost to France, was because the players wore white instead of green and, i am wondering, are we just being superstitious or there is more to it?, What do u all think? |
@ese1985, i am building a 4 bedroom duplex here in Abuja and the estimate is about N20m. Like most people have posted in here, it'll really depend mostly on the nature of the soil, the area the site is situated, access to site, ur taste, the time u want it completed and so many other factors |
