that's why I said goodluck with that. you will need a lot of luck if you don't have money.
for a person of your old age.

grin

So you've managed to establish that I am old - interesting. grin cheesy grin

So basically what you are saying is that Nigerian Women are gold diggers and will not entertain a Man, assuming he is old, unless he has money.

Nigerian Women are you on board with this description from your Sister Jenifa?

dumb biatch. you say Nigerian men are no different from other African men. what about culture? what about accent? and the like.

you are dumb and don't know it.

And that is the worst disservice nature can do to a living organism. Very unfortunate.

Thumbs up.

Re: Why Do (some) Nigerians Abroad Despise Black Americans?
« #17 on: August 11, 2011, 12:11 AM »
Prejudice is probably the correct term to describe it. not resentment or hatred. Africans are not resentful of African Americans. We are prejudiced against them. We are also prejudiced against  hispanics, asians, whites or African Americans for totally different reasons.
and like I said, it's also vice versa. all those cultures including AAs have prejudices against us too.

to quote, use the quote button above the text box when you are making a post. if you can see the smiley buttons, you should be able to see it.

Wow, just wow. Hopefully the educated foreigners on this forum will realize that very very few people share your retarded sentiments.

I was going to ask the same thing and plus he said he dated ONE BLACK AMERICAN AND ONE AFRICAN WOMAN as if they represent the whole group.

He sound like the man who had a bad experience with a sister and decided the grass is greener on the other side.

Justification is a mofo.

You should have asked and I would have answer, But as I can see you prefer making wild assumptions.

Very well then.

Why do you want to date Nigerian if you are more comfortable with other races?
I think you should stay with what you are comfortable with.

how old are you by the way? you said you've been in the US for almost 30 yrs. then you must be at least in your 40s or 50s.

Because I want to and I can.

My age is irrelevant to this topic - I fail to see the editorial value, and I have conducted myself in a matured manner on this thread.

Mrs.Chima:

Uhmm.  You said you lived in America for 30 years and you hear Black American women complained about why black men will not date them?   undecided

Let's keep it real.  The Black American women that are complaining about why Black men PERIOD does not gravitate toward them are WELL TO DO.  Black men in America both AFRICAN and Black American have an issue with Black American/African women making more money and holding top executive positions.

Black American/African women are graduating and have graduated from universities in record numbers and those women put EDUCATION before families THAT's why Black men are dating other race of women.

Actually what I typed was (almost 30 years).

None of the people in my social circle are intimidated by a Black Woman of any social or economical standing. The reasons we chose not to date Nigerian or African American Women are diverse. We are all educated and doing well for ourselves so that is a non issue.

But I feel that we're going off on a tangent.

Do we agree that domestic violence is not unique to Nigerian Men and towards Asian Women?

Definitely uneducated, no need to waste more time you.  undecided

And that in itself is not necessarily bad, but add her inferiority complex which is screamingly obvious in her rants, her non coherent writing style, the use of shorthand jargon in her writing, and it makes it so non worthwhile to even engage her in a debate. No wonder she's rebuked by Nigerian Men in her locality and she's wondering why.

Basically if you don't agree with her or you have a differing viewpoint, then she release her pent up anger in a frustrated and tyranistical rage.

She's a classic example of a functioning schizophreniac.

PS: Just in case anyone is wondering about my interest in this thread. It's easy, I will not stand by and let the image of good Nigerian Men abroad be tarnished, especially by our Sisters. We already have 419 image damage and we do not need to allow that to transfer over to relationships too.

For every negative image someone shows I will understand that individual situation but I will attempt to balance it with good ones too. I gave two examples of Nigerian people married to Asians, but OP did not wish to take those as credible (I think what she said was for me to save those stories for my children - lol - at least I already have some, you'll probably end up a lonely Cat raising spinster) and instead wished to latch on to her one example that she gave.

common, what is PINCHING AND BITING you thanx for the concern, yes i stopped school right after nursery 3,i believe this will calm u down

Finally the neutrons have fired in the correct sequence and you have answered the question I asked five responses ago, you're an illiterate.

That answers a lot about your online persona and paints a better picture of why you're not desirable and your angst with Men of quality.

There are African Women also in America and I am sure everywhere that have killed their significant others.

I can post up some liks but it will serve no editorial purpose since I am sure you know this fact.

It seems feminism is rearing her ugly head in Nigeria now which is a shame.

I love my Nigerian Sisters, the way to get the Nigerian Brothers attention is not by ridiculing them, even when one person makes a mistake. Respect begets respect.

You Ladies should ask your Black American Sisters in America why they are complaining that successful Black American Men are not dating them. I've lived in the US for almost 30 years, and I've dated only 1 Black American one Nigerian. I am more comfortable with other races. Now that I am coming around to start dating Nigerians I hope that this draconian and non self serving ideologies that is shown by couple of females on this thread of cutting down the African Men is not rampant.

But then I want to marry someone from a village, say Igbo Ora so that we can have twins. Lol

For me even if Nigerian Guys treat the ladies such, we are not worst of the rest. A Nigerian girl sees you with a white girl and start pissing herself off, you try to date them, they come up with all their silly " lets give it time attitude" then poster comes to nairaland to report herself because ONE only ONE Asian girl told you her story> Why don't you carry out a survey or write a dissertation on it so we can look at it and then have a say. undecided
grin

You're a genius.

Ultimately and this is my opinion, I could be wrong but I think poster got dumped by a Nigerian Guy for an Asia Girl and she got her panties in a wad.

Poster also needs to grow up, any race can date any race, there are Nigerian Men and Women with all sorts of other Nationalities.

She hinted that I am surrounded by people married to Asians, no luv, I liv ein Los Angeles and we are a diverse lot here, we date whomever we want.

Okay you're not generalizing, but what's the point of this thread?

There are knuckleheads of every race that treat women badly.

Sounds to me like you have a straw to pick with Nigerian men.

Well said. Her vexation with Nigerian Men oozes out of her posts.

Be careful as she might insult you and hurt your feelings, Lol

Travel / Re: Question On Nigerian Gun Laws by EuroMeko(m): 2:37am On Aug 20, 2011
Your foresight is valid and is exactly what I foresee. I have a Concealed Weapons License now but will have no need for that in Nigeria even if it's allowed by private citizens (since it seems most robbery happen at night with the home owners around). I will be leaving on a farm in a village by choice and will be miles from help (if we can call the Nigerian Police help) but I'm used to that self reliant lifestyle.

I have military grade night vision goggles and you can actually source cheapy ones from HarborFreight or eBay.

There has to be a way since I know we have traditional hunters with shakaboolas (a variation of a shotgun really) and I thought I saw armed private guards in Lagos.

Incidentally I was at a Showambe in Ibadan last month and this Mumu security Guy was carrying this in the crowd, I would have preferred a sidearm myself for close quarter work. I asked him if I could take a picture he said no - bwahahahaha

Hopefully someone comes in with more details.
Travel / Question On Nigerian Gun Laws by EuroMeko(m): 10:26pm On Aug 19, 2011
As a Texan planning on coming back home , I need to ask this question.

I'm looking for concrete answers from possibly the legal field or links to as such.

What are the gun laws for Nigeria? Can a private citizen own guns? If so what types of guns? DO you have to license them?

Thanks.

As a consumer I'm starting to think that it's definitely cheaper to just buy cars like this that are already in Nigeria - if things such as mileage, non salvaged title, etc checks out of course. These cars are like $2k here on the West Coast, when yuo add shipping from Cali, customs, bribes, etc then N800k (~$5k) is really not that bad.

Of course the Bush/Chenney sticker has been devalued by that sticker wink

Good luck with sale AjerlCorp

Maximum two terms of four years each seems to work for the worlds biggest superpower.

Listen, it's all a big to do about nothing.

It's not number of years that matter, it's having a national growth plan that is continuous regardless of which dummy is in power.

We need to empower states to define their own goals.
