That is a very sharp car that shows pride of ownership. Good luck with the sale.

I meant no harm just trying to decipher Nigeria customs law. I personally like older cars and was quite disappointed when I learnt that you couldn't bring them in but got excites when I read that you managed to get yours in.

If you can email me some details I will appreciate it.

You missed this in the link.

The group's "provocative rhetoric, militant posture, and cultural and political flourishes permanently altered the contours of American Identity."[1]

But okay you win. Nigerians are bastards and AA are Gods gift to earth.

Have a nice evening.

I really need to stop getting myself dragged into political and religious threads - must muster more self control - sigh. It's the damned frontpage that's the death of me. I'm really here for business opportunities, properties and auto. I wish Seun will provide a system where you can subscribe to individual forums. But I digress.

I'll provide this one link but I'm sure you'll come up with a disagreement on how it can't be pigeonholed into your individual description.

BlackLibya:

Maybe because if the united states wasnt involved this whole operation would fall apart EVEN NOW and the rebels would lose all their gains?

If you had a Chinese president, and we were helping people in the Congo against their dictator, and the Congolese started murdering all the Chinese, do you think he would not make a statement? Or even cut the funding?

In fact, if black people were the aggressors, it would be an outrage to the world. Just like it was an outrage to the world when they thought black people were killing light skinned libyans. Look at how far a hatred of "black aggressors" has brought us in this conflict.

Worldwide support for the rebels against the evil blacks.

May I quote you one of the past Presidents of the US? "As Americans, we do things not because they are easy, but because they are hard" JFK.

This is a revolution, people loose lives in revolutions. Americans did during the civil war, French did, British did, perhaps it's time for Libya to do theirs. What comes easy is not appreciated.

Personally, Mr. Obama is doing what needs to be done. His number one job is to protect American citizens. He is scheduled to deliver a speech to Congress next week about job creation. These are the things I need him to be focused on, not another countries internal affairs.

Libyans have enough resources given to them to deal with the issue at hand. Like Saddam, Osama, those that are hiding Gaddafi needs to deliver him to the rebels so the fight9ing can cease and they can move on to the next phase of the revolution.

Libya is not the only hotbed in the world right now and I still fail to see why it should be blamed on Obama.

@EuroMeko

I don't blame you. You are not in the shoes of those that have fallen into the rebels hands for what they did not do. Anyways, your user-name suggest that you are one of those that have been brainwashed by the west.

Ah I see. If I asked an intelligent and prudent question then I must have been brainwashed by the West. Okay I get it.

So basically you lack the necessary modicum to engage in a civil discussion without thinly veiled insults.

Carry on Oga, as you were.

Why cant we maintain Fighter jets such as f-16's,f-18s and the likes?

You just don't get up and order those. It has to be approved by the US Senate I believe. Only few allies can order certain crafts, Israel, UK, etc

I am sure we'll get F-16s in the future when they are old and not as militarily potent.

FWIW, the Nigerian Pilot did a great job, this stuff happens.

why do people keep making babies when they can not afford their up bringing?

How do you know that these are not kids of folks that lost their livelihood or succumbed to disease?

SirMethod:

What have u all done to avoid these things from happening. let's all look inward. How many kids have we sent home from the street/highways from hawking by just paying for what they sell. What so ever on that tray may be would not cost upto a thousand naira (6$).  let's start the revolution!

Lol,

They built a macmansion in Lekki and hide behind their gate and pretend it's all nice and rosy.

If you don't feel anything for the kids in the pix, imagine your kids doing the same thing shocked We need to arise in our little ways to assist kids in our vicinity/under our influence and government pls arise to your responsibilities.

What have you done? I donate to United Way.

ZE:

this could have been after school or during holidays.

don't forget that most kids who grew up under this condition come out tops in adulthood compared to most bread and butter kids.

Dangote who is the highest employer of labor in nigeria almost  started like this.

personally i do not encourage this but if its the only means of survival for those families, its better than armed robbery,  prostitution or allowing those
kids die of hunger.

I've seen so many places on top of lagos bridge where a woman and sometimes up to 4 kids all begging alms on top of the bridge.
on a closer look you will discover that they are not physically or mentally deformed.

compare the 2 scenario and tell us which should be encouraged.

For sure.

But wait, if during school break then they should be vacationing with their Aunt in Croydon instead os trying to earn money for next school year fees - lol

beautiful picture ke?

those kids should be doing something else that kids their AGE are doing.

Yes, beautiful picture, from an artistic viewpoint.

I agree with you that I would rather have the kid sin school or doing other kid stuff but this is not child abuse in it's definition.

A beautiful picture.

What you call child abuse I call survival.

Those look like well fed kids, certainly well dressed. I've seen kids in the US that are far worse.

Before you start sullying the terminology "child abuse" be careful so you don't water it down for those kids who are really facing abuse.

I have not started my business yet, still doing the same things you are doing, due diligence. Before a kid can walk, first he must crawl, yes? lol

As far as food, since you brought it up, my model is to use all imported stock (fish, food, etc) during what I call the seasoning period.

Then as harvest periods goes by I will start introducing local feeds, etc, in a controlled manner (separate pond/fish stock) I anticipate using all local produce on the farm within 3 years, hopefully sooner.

This will also give me enough time to have made local partnerships with fishery students for feed production purposes.

You can follow my progress on my website http://GoneFishing.VillageHeadMaster.Com

Please have no doubt that it can be done on a farm, even Salmon with there convoluted spawning scheme are being bred on a farm.

The issue here is the extremely high cost of farming saltwater natives on a farm and who can afford it in Nigeria.

I envision 15% part of my fish farm to be dedicated to other than Catfish/Tilapia farming when in full swing.
