Msauza:Lol.of course you guys love APC,due to the money Atiku Abubakar bankrolls into zuma's pocket. |
MikeCZAR:sometimes i suspect that you are a madman. |
MikeCZAR: |
skytrack1:could you please elaborate your point?. |
Msauza:ah..so naive,is there anything like 'stooping too low' in politics? isnt politics a game of power and intellect? The DA has more or less similar political ideology with the ANC,therefore political support in the right wing will always rotate between the ANC and DA,but the EFF,IFP,NFP,FF+ are of different breed.especially the EFF which is marxist-leninist,this enables it to garner new support from all channels. IFP shrank due to the emergence of the EFF,but it still carries political influence.EFF-DA coalition is a deadly combo. |
Msauza:I sincerely doubt that. Already, many south africans are disgruntled over the ANC government's management of the economy and electricity situation. The only thing keeping ANC in power is the free handouts it distributes to the citizens. If there is a coalition,ANC will fall. |
jpphilips:I would have enjoyed bantering with you,but sadly, you are biased and unpatriotic,so it would only be a waste to engage you in an intelligent arguement. I wont dignify you with an answer,no one takes you seriously here. PS: If you crave an arguementative challenge, create your own thread, you can then invite me there if you want.If i have the time and patience,i will engage you,if i dont, then i'm sure that there are a number of intelligent scholars on nairaland to challenge your falsehood. |
patches689:That is what you think. Before 2011,PDP had over 300 seats in parliament, but now they have less than 160 due to the APC coalition. What will happen if the EFF,Inkatha Freedom Party, and National Freedom Party merges together to form a reinvigorated opposition against the ANC led government?,that will make them as powerful as the DA,and perhaps if the DA can restructure its political ideology to suit the marxist EFF led coalition, there could be a 4 party coalition involving the: Democratic Alliance Economic Freedom Fighter Inkatha Freedom Party and National Freedom Party This new coalition party would be influential enough to rapidly gain parliament seats and topple ANC in a swift swipe. |
MduZA:largely because the ANC had no strong opposition. The PDP never expected to cede power for the next 10 years, but as we have it,APC proved to be an unconquerable behemoth.I'm certain that your next elections will be most revealing. |
jpphilips:you have no evidence, all you have are twisted narratives. Do you even know who ghadaffi was? Do you know ghadaffi's relationship with jacob zuma? Do you know what Nigeria really stands for? Do you know the western foreign policy concerning Nigeria? Do you know how crude oil positions us in the international comity of states? If you dont, then why assume that you know everything? |
jpphilips:what evidence did you provide to support your own points? Moreover,is there anything like evidence in international politics?,isnt it all written in history? Nobody needs your attention here,if you feel too big to reply, then dont.heck, who even wants your reply?,you are a vagabond to humanity,a terrible blight to our nation. You have listened to too much propaganda, you would have been a very brilliant follower of history that i would have loved to constantly chat with{i can discuss international politics and history from morning till night if time permits me},if only your werent so biased, misinformed and unpatriotic. what a waste. |
MduZA:Is it?,that doesnt seem to be the opinion of many south africans. |
Msauza:For the record,i'm an APC supporter, but the truth has to be said.President Jonathan did magic with the economy, but he wasnt strong-willed,neither did he have the political resolve to control Nigeria's fierce political structure. Some people just arent cut out to be leaders. Buhari is opposite,a strong willed, fierce, ruthless and firm leader that has the ability to topple Nigeria's cabalocracy, and mold a new political eldorado from the ashes of mediocrity. Moreover,President Jonathan can recontest come 2019. |
Msauza:This also sends a strong message to South Africa's ANC,what is happening in Nigeria may also re-echo in SA. The political experiment called APC,which consists of a grand coalition of 4 political parties, was able to topple the PDP led government that has been in power for the past 16 years, this method can also be adopted by SA political opposition factions to topple the ANC led government. Do not denigrate President Jonathan,he wasnt the best man for the job,but he has the best performance so far. |
Msauza:President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan remains the best president Nigeria has had so far; he has now become an elder stateman, who still carries massive political influence in the country. Though we expect Buhari to be a much more competent leader{owing to his experience as a former head of state},it is indeed a shame that the west has finally succeeded in subtly enforcing a regime change in the country; to me,it tarnishes buhari's victory to a large extent. Nevertheless,Victory To Buhari!!! |
General Mohammadu Buhari to be declared as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!! #BUHARI MARCHES INTO ASO ROCK!!!! |
agaugust:lol.laugh no go kill person for this nairaland sef. @chief agaugust,"japan is now DESPERATE....",that got me cracking up. |
Msauza:Then it shouldnt be hard to produce proof of the presence of mercenaries in Nigeria,i'm still expecting proof from you,not incoherent heresays. |
Msauza:lol.you are indeed a skilled conspiracy theorist. You have been watching too much Nikita.surely, the Nigerian government didnt hatch all those sinister plots and schemes you so imaginatively layered together. now, show me hard proof that the technicians in the NE are soldiers of fortune. |
Msauza:they are 'counter terrorism experts' and also technicians, they were hired to instruct our troops, they never participated actively. do you now get it? |
overhypedsteve:Oga mi,i recently noticed that japan has taken an active stance concerning Nigerian affairs, which is a bit baffling, does japan seek to extend soft power into the continent?,is there an iminent rivalry to be expected between china and japan on the African continent?,how does this affect western influence on the continent, perhaps a shift in partnership?,why Nigeria?.hope to get your reply soon. lol,are you a journalist?,the "official reply" part got me laughing real good. |
MduZA:man,i understand not what thou sayeth.what gave you the impression that i was 'excited'? |

@patches,you underestimate the threats that Nigeria faces, not only from chad, but also from libya, morocco and the WEST{especially france}.we are located at the rim of a fragile geopolitical zone, ripe for the explosion of islamic terror. Any nation that places priority on infrastructural development and neglects national defence will end up regretting it,what is the use of shiny skyscrapers when a single enemy missile can turn 200 skyscrapers into disjointed shards of broken glass? Any nation that wishes to grow, enjoy its rapid socio-economic development and attain total peace must seek an equally potent military to protect it. Yes,we are stronger than our immediate neighbours, but unlike SA,Nigeria is thinking about the future, not only the present. PS: terrorism has nothing to do with socio-economic or infrastructural defficiency,it is more of an ideological malady. |
MduZA:laughing?,aigoo....at least our navy doesnt mistake innocent civilian fishing boats for enemy battleships. |
Msauza:lol.you have problem,we have repeatedly reinstated on this forum that there are no mercenaries in the FRN,only technicians and instructors.when will you wake up and smell the pap?! as for GEJ,while i'm a buhari fan,i sincerely doubt that GEJ will lose this election. |
@lezz,agaugust,naijapikingidi,overhypedsteve..has anyone noticed the recent escalation of japanese interests in Nigerian affairs? They seem particularly too friendly in the past couple of months what could have brought up such an interesting development? |
It is really painful the way the Nigerian armed forces can only compare itself to other african military forces. At this point,we should already be rubbing shoulders with militaries like South Korea,Isreal,Venezuela,Canada etc....not comparing ourselves with weak african countries. South Korea alone has the military might to lay Egypt to waste in the span of a few weeks. With the level of threats we have surrounding us,i wonder why we are still stalling in developing military technology that would far outclass even the western junks that we so love to purchase. #ArmNigeriaToTheTeeth |
iamord:@iamord,you have greatly disappointed me by making this misguided statement.frankly,i thought you were above such petty immature theatrics. if not,why applaud the ramblings of a man with a mentally constipated mode of reasoning?.what makes you believe that @jpphilips is "knowledgeable of african affairs"?,all the points he stated were impotent fallacies: Contrary to what jpphilips claims; Ghadaffi was ruthless dictator with an unholy vision of PAN-african expansionism, the man proposed a single currency system that would have tied the whole african economy to the libyan crude oil oligarchy. Nigeria was the single african country who contributed the highest during the heat of the west african ebola outbreak,as well as during the Namibian draught crisis of 2013-2014. Nigeria makes the 4th largest contributions to the UN peace keeping force. If we want to criticize, let us do so without manipulating facts. |
@jpphilips,your lack of self-worth threw me into a state of chronic disarray.you do not understand how international politics works, neither do you comprehend the subtle intricasies of national interests It is particularly funny how you labelled FRN a puppet country, and then later made a U-turn by faulting our decision of resisting the establishment of the US controlled AFRICOM on Nigerian soil.what should i call that?hypocrisy?,you think the US wanted to set up a military command centre on Nigerian soil simply because they felt the need to held us protect our territorial integrity out of the goodness of their heart? your attempts to subvert our Nigeria's symbolism are regrettably mischievious,as are your subtle jabs against lezz. In one of your posts, you supported each region of Africa having a regional police, but here you are, flippantantly slapping away any modicum of integrity you had left by clearly supporting SA's diplomatic blunder of interfering in west african affairs.i will take your points one by one |

gbam!,Chad has been a suspicious element in this boko haram saga, infact,i'm tempted to conclude that they directly equipped or deliberately allowed the weaponization and training of the jihadi group through indigenous channels. Idris deby expected our military to take orders from him, lol, even world superpowers couldnt bend our military to their whims. Many times we have been called to hold territories supposedly liberated by chad, only to arrive to meet a different reality on ground, for example,a month ago when chad claimed to have liberated dikwa, our troops were called to hold the fort, only to enter directly into a boko haram ambush that saw us losing a few of our gallant troops. This also has the effect of distracting our troops and allowing terrorists to cause unnecessary disturbances in place where we formally liberated. What are we paying them for if they cant hold a few small towns in strategic border regions?. |
MduZA:and my answer was no,we didnt use torches. moreover, what kind of senseless question was that? |
MduZA: |
