Gene plays a major role, whatever you feed your dog, just make sure its sufficient, maybe she would have looked better if fed on those imported food. Butit really doesnt matter if ur dog doesnt have a good gene

Bro but even google will tell you that you cant just tell the difference by looks. Different caucasians have different looks and builds. You cannot call the op dog a sarplaniniac or a yugoslavian shepherd just by viewing the pic. If the ears of d sarpie u uploaded was cropped and he had a black mask like the cauc u uploaded and same camera position, you wont be able to tell a difference. The caucasian breed goes deep. I feel you may just end up confusing this op

Is very hard to sell dogs these days, too many broke and greedy people around, it's either they are broke and want to get the dog for free or they have the money but they are just too greedy. If you notice, nobody even buys dogs on nairaland anymore. They all want a pic pure bred pedigree imported from abroad but they can't afford it. So if you post a dog for sell, their excuses are usually the dog is too expensive or it's quality is too low.

Nigerians never know what they want, they are just a bunch of confused fake people.

To sell a dog if quality is not so hard, sometimes it just takes time, but when its impromptu, thats wen people try take advantage of the situation.

Nobody here assisted tho. But thanks to God, Drake is now in lagos, it cost more than expected cos I wasnt there, but he is now with me.
I had some very stupid offers to buy him, some wanted me to dash dem, and the worse of all was wen I was offered 6k so they will buy him and eat. All those motivated me to find somone that would help pick Drake Nd take him to the park, special thanks to that bro, he had never done it b4, I also had to make arrangement here in lagos to get a vehicle ready in ph to have him sent here. It cost more but am thankful that he is now where he is loved

I can think of some possible breed in the mix, Gsd, boerboel or one impure bull mastif mix

It all depends on thier lineage, if u have a dog from the lineage of aggresive dogs, there is always the possibility of producing aggresive pups, but if one or two parents isnt or even far back as grand parent, there is a possibility of producing pups with lower drive.
Which is why we encourage people to buy pedigree dogs, that way you knw what you are buying. If you cant afford pedigree, try atleast check the parents.

Most straight backs in Nigeria which most of yall call working line Gsds are already tainted, and stray far away from what a working Gsd should be like. Which is why you see out of every 10 gsds, there are 6 weaker drive ones

On two occasions I tried selling mine but I just couldn't, the sentimental attachment is just toomuch plus the people that wanted to buy the dogs were looking for freebies anyway because what they were offering me were peanuts so in the end we did not come to any agreement.

I don't think I can really sell them off, unless if they reproduce puppies then I can definitely sell off the pups.

u just mentioned wat the malinios has over the Caucasians and kangals.Yes,wen its a "chase and hold down" situation,the Mali has more advantage but when its a "face head on"situation, the Caucasians and kangals has more advantage. For example,A girl is in her yard alone with a very huge kangal by her side,if a heavily bodied man decide to come and attack her ,the kangal would simply do more damage to the man than a malinios would do.

U talked about effectiveness. U can't say a malinios is more effective than a caucasian. They were both bred for diff purposes.
U said wat a dog trainer looks for is effectiveness and efficiency. Efficiency in what exactly? A trainer might decide to train dogs that are effectively used in guarding livestock, are u trying to say a Mali is more efficient than a co in that field.A trainer might also decide to train dogs used in d military and other task forces which the malinios is obviously better.
What started this argument is when the op said that all those big dogs like Caucasians, kangal ,rott would run away under serious pressure from an intruder and i simply told him its not true.

Like u said more damage, but a malinois would do damage, murder is a crime punishable by law, if ur dog kills, u re d one to be charged after the dog has been put down. In ur scenario of the heavily bodied man, if a kangal and malinois were there, the malinois will be d first to apprehend the intruder. Effectiveness in carrying out all guarding functions in a home. kangal and cauc are restricted to bark nd attack. But they wont be effective in certain scenerios like d one I gave earlier
