Suspending Twitter is a good move.
This is the Buhari we voted for. No nonsense.
Social media must be regulated if we want to keep our sanity and country intact. People must be accountable fir every rubbish they post online.
Twitter is obviously supporting the anarchists minority that want to destroy our country and put everybody, including themselves, in trouble.
They did not see anything wrong in what the anarchists una chief is posting on their platform.
My people say if the bear-bear of your neighbour catch fire you should rub water on your own.
Other websites and social media platforms need to clean their house.
Even our dear Nairaland has been infested with separatist and anarchist elements.
Seun and his team need to wake up and cleanse the site to restore its dwindling integrity and glory. All you see is hate and hate and more hate.
This was not the Nairaland we were enjoying before these brainwashed and hateful youths infested it.
Hateful generation that can't make a point or rebutt points logically but to insults and abuses on dissenting views.

Any suggestionshuh
Looking for scammers to dupe you abi?
Your choice of phone should be determined by what you like most in a phone.
Big RAM- at least 4gig up
Good camera- at least 14 mega pixel up
Strong battery
Good sound
Portability
Good screen resolution
Good video quality.
A good phone should combine all these.
Look for phone reviews on jiji, jumia etc etc and chose a phone with the feature you like most. Then check its price on various sales platforms. Then go and buy it physically to avoid being duped.

Niger Delta Republic that nobody is agitating for? Niger Delta Republic not one single group is spearheading?

Do you know how many groups that are championing Oduduwa Republic? There is YOV, YOLICOM and YYF

Do you know how many groups are championing Niger Delta Republic? zero! I laugh when people talk about Niger Delta Republic, a country nobody is agitating for
The whole idea of Biafra is founded on greed for south south oil.
Ojukwu and his cohorts would have gotten Biafra if they based their agitation on the 44,000 square kilometers that make up the five south east states.
The south also have a choice to have their own nation devoid of their selfish, greedy, domineering, arrogant, invasive and evil loving eastern neighbours.

Sincerely, I am losing my sanity. The sad news I read daily are just too much - killings, kidnappings, raping, tribalistic & religious tantrums. I wish I could stay away from social medias for a very long time, but then I need some other updates. Is there any site or blog or platform or forum where heartbreaking news are less reported? Please suggest one if there's any.

It's more worrisome knowing some groups of people have hijacked almost all platforms.
Read critically, ignore the haters, let their hatred torment them eternally. They love everything evil.

eloquently:
Nnamdi Kanu should allow peace to reign, while upholding the need for security.. The situation on ground needs re-strategy for peace.... If everything is done in anger, it could lead to certain mistakes that are acute.

The igbos are aggrieved, and the insensitivity or low response to certain issues by the government in the past has led to this situation. The government should call for peace and negotiation now.

You cannot bring the igbos down. If you try to do that, they will ressurect again and overtake you in progress..... The igbos were almost brought down to nothing after the civil war, today they are solid.

You that enjoys seeing evil in igbo land, if your tribe own had used the opportunity they had after the civil war, they would have gone far by now without even looking at the igbos. But because they wasted opportunities, they are busy looking for the down fall of igbos.
What negotiations?
In what ways were the Igbos wronged and what do you mean by insensitivities by past governments?
There was a political contest and the Igbo's foolishly put all their eggs in one basket for PDP.
PDP lost and yet APC gave them and is still giving them even more than they deserve. But they want more and always complaining about everything.
The average Igbo is not looking for good governance or development for Igboland. They prefer to thrive in illegalities and illegal businesses that hurt our economy and nation.
That's why they hate Buhari who has shown them much love by picking an Igbo man as his running mate three good times.
But because Buhari is after illegalities and hurtful business practices including indiscriminate importations to rev up local production the Igbo's feel that he hates them.
There's nothing Buhari will do to these people that will satisfy these guys.
If anybody wants the downfall of the Igbos its the Igbos themselves. After all any success they feel they have in business defends on the rest of us as we are patronize their business willingly and not by force.
If the rest of us that they hate stop patronizing their businesses would they sell?
PoliticsRe: Olusegun Osoba: How Fake News From Foreign Media Triggered 1967 Civil War by Everfrank(m): 12:41am On May 31, 2021
NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Point of correction Mr Osoba, do not try to rewrite history.

Fake news did not trigger the 1967 civil war because the pogroms were already ongoing in the North before the war.
The civil war was triggered by the Hausa-Fulani leaders' decision to jettison a perfect resolution to the volatility that was agreed upon at Aburi, Ghana.

Sadly, this breach of agreement was encouraged by the Yoruba elites like Awolowo, Mobolaji Johnson and Adebayo who never considered that the accord was to their favour as well.
Today Sanwo-Olu is fighting for a special state status for Lagos State. Would he have to do that if his kinsmen didn't sabotage the struggle for a federated nation of sovereign areas?

The civil war could have been prevented if only Yakubu Gowon kept to his side of the bargain.

Just like as in January 4th of 1967, the escalations going on right now can only be defused by regionalizing the nation and abolishing the 1999 Constitution to create one that won't encourage the impoverishment of him who should be rich to enrich him that should be poor.

It is not fair that it is okay for someone from Kebbi who scored 110 in JAMB gets admitted on merit for Medicine in a prestigious university while another from Anambra who scores 360 can't get into the same school for the same course.

It is also not fair that it is okay to see a Fulani man clutching daggers and machete while a Yoruba man who holds a pen-knife is arrested for being in possession of dangerous weapons.

Is it fair that the proceeds of Crude oil gotten from the Niger Delta region are spent in the North while the proceeds of Gold mining only belong to Zamfara?

Is it fair that Kano State should benefit from proceeds of alcohol sale through the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) despite sabotaging the profitability of Alcoholic Breweries and threatening their existence by destroying alcoholic drinks?

To think it is okay for Bagudu to get some of Sani Abacha's recovered loot but the Federal Government has the exclusive right of that of James Ibori and not even Delta State whose funds it is in the first instance.

If different laws apply for different people, then it is only fair to split the country so as not to make anyone feel disenfranchised.

This is common sense but my suggestions can't be taken seriously since my only forte is in masturbationn.
You are trying to rewrite history as well.
The cause of the events that led to the civil war was the 1966 bloody coup whence Igbo military officers massacred, in cold blood, all the key political leaders from the north and west. While at it they ensured no single Igbo was touched.
The coup failed because it was a tribal and regional coup executed with ruthless animosity and hatred. Chukwuma Nzeogu the leader of the bloody coup was so intoxicated by blood that he lost his senses and could not coordinate and take over power. He personally butchered the much revered Premier of the northern region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, in cold blood.
When Aguiyi Ironsi an Igbo man took over government as the most senior military officer he not only failed to fish out and punish the murderers but also failed to make any attempt at reconciliation and appeasement. Chukwuma Nzeogu and his fellow murderers were retained in the army. Ironsi carried on arrogantly as if nothing happened.
It was Ironsi that abolished regionalism and unified the civil service and not the 1999 constitution.
Contrary to Osoba's claims there were killings of northerners in the south east after Aguiyi Ironsi was killed in a counter coup.
His figure of Igbos killed in the north is fantastic and a figment of his imagination.

The Aburi Accord was an aftermath of of these events.
A good historian spill it all out.

IPOB noticed a crack caused by the issue of herdsmen and are bent on exploiting it by all means possible. Their plan is to confuse and convince them to gang up against the north which proved, over and over, a hard nut to crack.
They believe they can control Yoruba and middle belt like a walk over.
