Scientifically, it is called 'cloud seeding'. I was taught this in our geography class. It can be done with the use of silver iodide. The Silver iodide is a condensation nuclei and what it does is to condense water vapour in the cloud and dat causes rain

I kindda dislike animals esp dogs n lizzards. There was a day, a woman asked me to help call her twins from their friend's house. As i got to the compound, these local dogs came to welcome me. I had been given the theory that i can scare the dogs away by mere bending down to pick stones so i decided to praticalise it. As i bent to pick the stones,d dogs didnt stop from coming toward me, then i was damned scared so i ran d dog pursued. At a time as i ran, i could feel d hairs on d dog's mouth on my leg. My long jump instinct came to play. I began to run toward a lonely bushy path, then i remembered Ralia the sugar girl. So many tinz started runing through my great mind. finally, i tipped and fell. I just laid flat for d dog to bite me since d opportunity had come. I was like dat for some minutes only to look back to see the yeye dog staring at me. Since then, my hatred for dogs doubled sad

Good day! Molecular biologist on this forum, pls, I've got some questions that i need answers to concerning DNA extraction/isolation.
1. Are there other dna extraction protocols aside CTAB n extraction kit because they are the common ones on google search? If yes, what are they?
2. Why does DNA not degrade during washing/purification with alcohol even when left for long @ room temp. but begins to degrade after elution with water or alcohol?
I would appeciate links to journal or reviews with answers.

Hmmmmm. Hilarious experiences. Lemme share mine.
It was d day I and my roommates in d hostel decided to attend an induction ceremony for food so we planned that one of us, who would be there earlier should call when d food was being served. After some hrs, na so she call say make we dey come, food plenty (omo see groove). Na so I n my bunkmate carry plenty nylon put inside bag dey go ceremony venue. Wen we got there, as our roommate who was in d midst of guyz(her dept mates) saw us, she just shouted 'hope u brought enough nylons for food'. I was so embarrased ehn and one of them was almost laffin........ It was as if d ground should open. Since then, i av decided nt to attend any ceremony in school.

Biologically, it takes a genus and a species to have a scientifice name(not names) just like surnmame n first name. The scientific name of man is Homo sapien and not the 'scientific names of man are homo sapien'. So 'my name is' is correct.

if you have the money to study outside the country why not. you still have two options gunning at you, sit down and check which of the 2- MPH or medicine fits your personality. No one can answer this question perfectly except you. if I have the chance would have consider st. kitts medical school in the carribeans. those schools are quite easy to enter & between 3.5-5 yrs you are through but here.....Uhmmm its jamb to avoid frustration of DE or DE to avoid 100level admission bbut it all leads you towards your goal.

Although my case is quite different as i am still a 3rd yr student of biological sciences(option in zoology). I'm confused either to go for M.sc in public health(neglected tropical diseases) or go for a 4 yr PG study in medicine outside d country n den come back to serve as a Dr. Is dat really possible? Age is still on my side tho. Advice needed pls

The last time i remember seeing clearly with my eyes was in Pry 4. Using glasses aint easy i must confess. Mine is short sightedness with astigmatism. I wear glasses almost all d time (even while sleeping) to the extent dat i sometimes forget dat i have it on and will start looking for it. Even with dat, i atimes find it difficult to see clearly. Pratical classes nko? Viewing things under microscope aint easy.

sore loser. Fayose don't need federal police for protection. Common people like okada riders and teachers are the one defending him. The same people that chased away fayemi are defending fayose. Fayose is the only governor that scored 100percent in every election in nigeria in the last election and you are saying he shouldn't be a role model to youth. My cousin @ home had to stay delay her travelling just to celebrate Fayose's victory in court recently.
