goodgate:I want a place around that axis, not over priced, 'cos I'm gonna use mortgage and I work, which do you suggest, do u have any idea?, that one beside it, Carlton gate or so, is so expensive. Thanks |
Bookmarked. Pls for those saying Chevy view is not good, what are your reasons. Me thinks it's ok considering it's not over priced. Your views please. |

opal4real:Where is the product kwanu, most stations are locked in Lagos here, Give us the product @ N87 we don't mind. The available black mkt is N200 so price reduction doesn't make sense if the product is not available. |
Ochinex:Thanks for this info. Good move. NL mods, you can ban me now as much as u can. ![]() |
Rexphobia:Mr, and how many days are in the holiday? You can't call your bank to stop an "approved" transaction. You can only write for a refund which will take a process and not during the holiday. I have handled POS refunds hands on not copied from cbn site. Lolzz Admit it when u goof. Your first statement which I replied read "2. So your friend could not contact his bank to have his card blocked and account frozen immediately the robbers left?" Blocking his card and freezing his account which money left from is irrelevant in recovering the lost money. It can only protect money left in the account. So my point is the OP's incidence can happen, the only thing it's not sustainable esp when there are no long hols like we just had. |
Rexphobia:Guy I'm a banker and I can tell u this is 2,000% possible. Let's say they came with just one Pos linked to one of their accounts. And they transferred N200k each from 10 flats, that's N2M. The other members of the gang also has random accounts loosely opened with porous kyc (rem Naija doesn't have a proper ID system and database, you take whatever the customer presents especially when it's seen as a casual savings account). Now op said this happened during this long hols, let's assume on Wed 23rd nite. Now they have, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 and even 29th early morning (5, 6 or 7 solid days to conclude their criminal acts) The 2M gets shared into 3, that's 2 more accs of their gang members, 700k, 700k and 600k. Next action, withdraw 100k daily from the different accs, some banks allow more. They can do POS purchases as well of goods they can easily sell off. On the bolded, they have already robbed them of their funds, monies have left their accs to the robbers accounts, is she gonna call her bank to block an empty account? Unless to protect the monies left if any. They don't have the robbers' acc details remember? So this can happen live. I have seen where ATM cards are cloned and used to make airline Bleep purchases, esp those days of magnetic strip cards. Nobody can hold the recipient of such Pos transfers liable especially if they actually sell what funds were transferred for. Nobody comes to buy from you and you go asking them for source of funds or if they are criminals. |
VickyRotex:Yea but unique and lovely that I wondered why he wasn't singing all this while. Most of them good singers have cracked voices, Davido etc |
NgeneUkwenu:My office is in Amuwo, yes light has improved tremendously to close to 22hrs daily on the average. But it's a lie to say this started 1st week in Dec; this started this Christmas week. It's also worthy to note that that's what always happens during this season when people travel and load goes down drastically. Let's wait till February when the loads will be fully back, then we can judge. |
Henovy:Lolzz, e pain am,,, |
EternalTruths:He was lobbying to be Petroleum Minister, but as he was dumped totally, if na u nko? ![]() |
Please leave Ben Bruce out of this, he has been speaking out against this government when they err. No govt is totally bad or totally good. He will begin to sound like a broken if all he does is criticize whatever the govt does. PDP guys are more mature in their approach to opposition, not like Mr Lie. ![]() |

A friend sent in this: ATTENTION :ATTENTION :ATTENTION ------------ THIRD MAINLAND BRIDE DEATH TRAP . True life story by IFEYINWA Okafor-Mbah NO MATTER HOW HECTIC THE TRAFFIC MAYBE ................ PLEASE DON'T ALLOW THE DRIVERS TAKE ANY "SHORTCUT" I have always noticed a portion of land at the right hand side of the road with two big gates immediately you descend the THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE going towards Adekunle but I have never really thought it could be a hide out for the MEN of the UNDERWORLD but last week Friday I came in direct contact with them. On my way home from work I took a bus from Obalende to Yaba which is my normal route to and fro work every day. Immediately the bus descended the third mainland bridge the conductor jumped down and two men opened the big gates while beckoning on the driver to drive in. This was at 7:00pm. As soon as I noticed it, I started shouting and telling him that it's not possible because there is no road there connecting Yaba (at least not any that I know of) the men and the conductor insisted and I continued shouting and holding the driver maintaining that he continued on the proper route or I get down from the bus ( while this was going on between I and the driver nobody in the bus talked . I also noticed a man in white regalia in front of me who I think was working with them because he kept stirring at me and never said anything rather he will look and face down as if he was pressing something ). While struggling with the driver, one man at the back of the seat stood up and said he wanted to get down and if they have a bad plan it has failed starting with him(I was at the middle seat). So we became two that were continuous of the environment aside from the people I guess were in conjunction with the driver and others who didn't know what was going on. Seeing that I was drawing attention because some other vehicles were slowing down, the driver made a U-turn back to third mainland bridge while making signs to those that opened the gate for him to join him and I kept shouting that he was a killer and that they want to either rob or kill us so he turned back to Adekunle.( I want to say here that the driver never defended himself or countered what I was saying) After we entered Adekunle road, some of the passengers were startled because I continued talking about it as we drove along Herbert Macaulay road. According to them, they didn't even know what I was talking about (I concluded they were under a spell) . I took it as one of those things after telling some members of my family the story that night. But the story took a new turn this morning when a friend I boarded a bus with on my way to work told me that a guy left Ikorodu for UNILAG yesterday to defend his project and up til now his friends and family have not seen him and he has been declared missing. While thinking of the danger so many people might be in right now, I decided to tell her my story and hoped she would also spread it to others but while narrating my story to my friend, the driver of the bus heard us and he confirmed that some mysterious things are happening there truly. He said that some people were rubbed under the same bridge two day ago after a bus drove into the same place and a man from his neighborhood was among the victims ( I believe it was a planned job between the robbers and the driver of the vehicle). PLEASE pass this story to all your friends and family until it gets to the RIGHT SECURITY PERSONNEL. That PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FAST because there might be some victims under the bridge right now. Cc: lalasticlala mynd44 obinoscopy |
