IdeyFindWife: Oga way dey find wife, do you even get the point being made? The person who started this topic probably makes more money than you. It's not about the economy being bad or no money or job. It's about our our economy, politics, social living etc all being a lie. We cannot trust or believe anything. The system is shutdown that nothing will work. Caught kidnappers, to what end? How are they prosecuted? Any jail or execution verdict? Looters nko? People that promised electricity in 6 months but zip till today. What's going on? None payment of N18K minimum wage for, and so on. It's a free for all wifefinda. It's just a couple of things away from having an anarchy in this country. Chill please. 1 Like |
Food / Coca-cola Changes Coke Zero To A New Drink by executioner27: 7:16pm On Jul 26, 2017 |
If you like your Coke Zero exactly the way it is now, it might be time to start stockpiling cans of sodas. On Wednesday, Coca-Cola announced that it would stop selling Coke Zero in the US in August, replacing it with a beverage with a different recipe, design, and name: Coke Zero Sugar. "It is a reinvention of Coke Zero," CEO James Quincey said in a call with investors. According to Coca-Cola, Coke Zero Sugar is closer to the taste of Coca-Cola Original. However, with zero sugar and zero calories, the drink also appeals to customers who are seeking lower-sugar options. Coke Zero is already a major hit outside of America, with growth figures reaching the teens. In the US, Coke Zero sales grew 3.5% in 2016, compared to Diet Coke's drop of 1.9% in the same time period.

Crime / Re: Teenager Leads Gang To Rob Oyinbo Man At Gunpoint In Traffic In Ghana (Pics) by executioner27: 1:54pm On Jul 17, 2017 |
When can Nigeria get back to this heroic act? It's everyman for himself now. I remember the old days, you can't try this sort of daylight daring dastardly act. This is the second Okara rider robbery stoppage I have read about Ghana. Kudos to them citizens. |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: The Almighty 'can We Meet You?' Question. by executioner27: 11:25am On Jul 09, 2017 |
What is the meaning of 'can we meet you'? Nigerians can be funny. The person asking this question is probably a boss and would be livid if your response is sarcastic. And the ignorant boss does not want to take corrections. What is wrong with asking 'can you tell me about yourself'? Or simply 'tell us/me about yourself'? |
Romance / Re: Lady From UK Is Looking For A Husband On Twitter by executioner27: 1:11pm On Jul 08, 2017 |
MrBrownJay1: The question to your answer is.....or is it he answer to your question.....well..no man is good enough for her. When she was building her business men would have been a distraction. Now she is built, none would be good enough. None would even come close because she would have high demands and expectations. There are only two kinds of men that can have her or she can have....1) Gold diggers would would pretend and even take all kind of shit thrown at them and 2) Men who would not mind to be the kitchen men. What I mean is the background existing men. |

Education / Re: Photos Of The Scorpion I Killed In My School Hostel by executioner27: 3:53pm On Jun 20, 2017 |
The truth is, the bigger the scorpion, the less poisonous it. Unlike snakes. Surely, the sting will be painful but less poisonous. The tiniest of the scorpion, is the deadliest. |

Scrooge: That wasn't necessary. Him that even asked would have just continued with a solution than asking. Or you would have laid it out simply. Me too thought you meant antivenin until you schooled me. Not sure I would want to be in your class as one of your students. 1 Like |
Car Talk / Re: Lagos Traffic Laws And Penalties by executioner27: 7:13pm On Apr 04, 2017 |
AceRoyal: Truly,it's not about the fine. The stress you will go thru to pay that fine. In between those line of x Naira fine, your vehicle would have been impounded. Then you have opened ways for them to check your car and particulars. I bet you, what started as a N30K fine......You do end up paying up to N150K. It could be less if you know someone somewhere. Best bet....Settle your case there. Give that gift. I didn't say offer. GIVE. Remember that Bible verse that says settle your quarrel before you are taken to the court. |
Politics / Re: Gov Okorocha Commissions Shoprite In Owerri (pix) by executioner27: 6:10pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
plendil: OK. Maybe i have exaggerated a little. But they have up to 80% but far more than 60%. Boss, give your country some credit. I know we are an import dependent country. One of the condition given to shoprite to operate in Nigeria is to stock at least 80% Nigerian products. And that they have kept to. Your argument may be looking at those dairy products we dont know how to produce here but look beyond that...its Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: Gov Okorocha Commissions Shoprite In Owerri (pix) by executioner27: 7:43pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
Sibrah: This is soooo not true. Go and do your home work proper. Shoprite sells at least 90% Nigerian items. Households to toiletries to provisions. Even the furniture is Nigeria. Carpenters with finesse make them furniture. One the Nigerian being the owner of a chain store...like someone mentioned...we never loot oil and politics money finish. However, we have the likes of Ebeano and De Prince both in Lagos (Igbo Brothers), we also have Addide (my brother too. but may not be Igbo)...but sadly these Nigerian retail stores stock foreign products. Look at their products u will see the container itself having prices in pounds. you will also notice UAE made items clearly. These r where we have the 95% foreign. Not in Shoprite. Then...y is this Owerri shoprite feat being given to Okorocha? is he d one that told them to come. This ppl made their bizness survey. The best the governor may have done is to sell or lease the land to them. if the land isnt privately owned. its not Rochas that brought them...dont even bring him in. Just leave him at that cutting of tape to open the shoprite. 2 Likes |
Science/Technology / Re: Python Killed In An Oil Company In Delta State Today by executioner27: 7:26pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
Very vigilant workers ke? This is a Python nah...its harmless. Where I come from we don't kill them. We simply push them away and let them be and it lets us be as well. It brought its head up because it was disturbed by the work noise. Besides this village or where I come from BS...do we have to kill and eat or just kill every? These are endangered species and their survival means a lot to mother nature. There is always one rare animal or reptile being killed and show cased on NL. Let's preserve nature. |

Romance / Re: Just Few Hours To Her Weeding She Had Sex With Her Husband's Driver by executioner27: 9:23am On Feb 19, 2016 |
igwegeorgiano: I think this is fabricated….one of those Dear Bunmi stories. But for NL brother and sister hood….here are my comments. 1. Why did they have to meet only in eateries? They are both adults and have agreed to not do until marriage. Can’t they control themselves? Why not have home visits and occasional sleep overs even if na one night? 2. Yes they agreed not to do but I think they should have tried to test boundaries. Know each other’s touch. I am an avid advocate of abstinence but some things are necessary. The harm has been done already, in case of next time. 3. The obvious thing to do is move on. Devil or evil spirit probably entered the girl. ‘your friend’ should pick up and find love again. It’s not easy but he should do it. Mid-year, not now. |

Romance / Re: How Much Should A Man Earn Before Getting Married? by executioner27: 4:42pm On Feb 17, 2016 |
tripplephi: I kind of disagree with u. When a man is ready he should go ahead, as long as he has a job that brings in steady money. He just has to avoid elaborate wedding. That is what usually kills the couple even some big bois and gals.Simple wedding, low key, pack ur things and go home.Rather than spend 3-5m on a 4 hrs event.Hogwash!!! Save half the money and still keep some ppl happy. |

ChappyChase: You and umehj are correct. Its the system. Abroad and here have different motivating factors. Our parents sef...r they ready to let go? For one to go hustle, he will get his hands into illicit things. If still in school or yet to go in...the hustling fit change am for you. no more school. If you are in school, strive to liv off-camp and make there your home. That way you have indirectly left your parents home. i did that when i was in school. i only went home during Xmas. Easter i form we have exams immediately, so no need to come home. holidays or strike period, i form another thing. in fact by the time they see u r cutting them off, they wont bother u as such esp if u r not always going to ask for money. though not asking could make them wonder how u survive. if you school in d same town they liv in...try and get an accommodation near the school.bottom line...its true what she said but its not that easy. our system does not support it. its not that the guys r lazy nor broke. its just the system. 2 Likes |
