I really do not know why the northerners are shaken by the establishment of these group. It should be clear why the core North, especially Fulani will be against the Amotekun initiative. Buhari is on a Fulanization mission, to have the Fulanis take over Nigeria. If regional security initiatives like Amotekun become successful, then that would be the end of the Fulanization agenda. That is why Buhari ensured that the security architecture of the country is under the tight control of the Fulani.

I hope that this security issue would help unite the SE, SW, MB and SS to jointly demand for holistic restructuring of the country or jointly insist on organizing a referendum to allow Nigerians the opportunity to choose whether to remain one or go their separate ways.

Right now the focus is on asserting the right of Nigerians to protect themselves. Once that is settled, the Governors should demand for an increase in the States' share of the national revenue to help fund the regional security outfits.
