The military told them to forget about Amotekun.

Now police boss says it is illegal in sight of the law ie unconstitutional.

Soon they will gazette it and send Amotekun to Oblivion.

Amotekun remains an Illegal outfit.
Dream on. I hope you guys are getting ready for the break up of the shithole.

Well, it should rather be the other way round, their intention is bad ( with the recent registration of members in church and their body language towards Muslims) but it's actually constitutional.....

Well my take is, if they want amotekun, every religions should be carry along otherwise scrap the nonsense ....
Who will scrap "the nonsense"? I guess you are ok with the fact that Nigeria is being invaded by Fulani militants from neighboring countries armed with AK 47 and sponsored by Buhari?

I really do not know why the northerners are shaken by the establishment of these group. Their continual outcry is only establishing a fact that there is something sinister going on and are scared that the south-west are already gearing up to defend themselves through Amotekun. With all these going on, it is advisable for other regions to emulate this let them don't me caught unawares.
It's all about what Obasanjo alleged: Fulanization and Islamization. An effective regional security system will prevent them from carrying out their evil agenda.

They can't try it. Fulani people already know that an average Igbo man is Biafra-inclined, while will dey make such mistake. ...let truth be told, all the Igbo people that I had met are all clamouring for secession. Including okorohausa.... buhari can't try it.
What they plan to do is to bring up somebody from the north while his vice will come from the Southeast. Struggle continue approach.
For your information, Buhari does not have the power to appoint a President. Candidates will be picked from party primaries. And of course, there are more than one party.

PoliticsRe: Amotekun Will Affect Nigeria's Unity - Arewa Consultative Forum by executive12: 11:42pm On Jan 18, 2020
This is a more responsible response by the ACF, unlike the insult from the Miyetti Allah. It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about the constitutionality of Hisbah Police and the Civilian JTF.
They should also comment on the appropriateness of Buhari putting the control of the security services of Nigeria in the hands of only the North. Are they comfortable with such an arrangement?
The SW should stand firm on Amotekun.

Regardless of party, tribe, religion and differences, Nigeria will remain one and united.
Nigeria is one (for now) but definitely not united. And we cannot remain one by force. If injustice and inequity continue to be the order of the day, then those that feel marginalized would obviously want out of the fragile union.

That is what I don't understand
Is there something they are not telling us?
It should be clear why the core North, especially Fulani will be against the Amotekun initiative. Buhari is on a Fulanization mission, to have the Fulanis take over Nigeria. If regional security initiatives like Amotekun become successful, then that would be the end of the Fulanization agenda. That is why Buhari ensured that the security architecture of the country is under the tight control of the Fulani.

I think we should be past blaming Lord Lugard at this point. Nigerians, collectively, have the destiny of the country in their hands.

Time for all Nigerians to unite and teach these terrorist from Futajalon a lesson. Time to unite and put a stop to Fulanization of Nigeria.

NOTE;
Anyone notice that any time Miyeti allah terrorist group or MURIC speaks against certain issues in the country buhari's regime listens to them? Who were the first to voice their objection to Amotekun, even threaning violence to defend themselves? Miyeti allah.
Basically Miyeti allah rules this country indirectly. They give directives to buhari regime and he obeys.
I agree with you about Miyetti Allah running the country.

I hope that this security issue would help unite the SE, SW, MB and SS to jointly demand for holistic restructuring of the country or jointly insist on organizing a referendum to allow Nigerians the opportunity to choose whether to remain one or go their separate ways.
The Fulani should not be allowed to continue to have their way at the expense of the other ethnic groups.

Goes to show that this government is disjointed and don't exchange information. How on earth is Malami not in the know, and yet instead of asking still came out publicly to exhibit his ignorance and foolishness?
Malami was very much aware of the Amotekun initiative. I believe that he started speaking against it because the Miyetti Allah went to them to complain. What we have is a Fulani Federal government.

If Nigeria split who will pay? Biafra or arewa ? undecided
When (not if) Nigeria splits, the debt would be shared among the regions, of course. It should be clear to any discerning mind that Nigeria is headed for disintegration. An American organization predicted it and it would happen. Nigeria is not working.
PoliticsRe: Meet Chioma Uzodinma, Imo First Lady (Photos) by executive12: 12:57am On Jan 18, 2020
Imo State has always been unlucky with getting good men or women as Governors. Udenwa and Ohakim were incompetents. Okorocha was a 419ner. And now the compromised Supreme Court decided to impose Uzodinma, another 419ner, on them.

loooool

see threat , if na that one , Miyetti monkey , forget , the solution is simple , we will force Buhari to do another population census , it's long overdue , this time we will do it diligently and prove once and for all that Hausa / Fulani may have land mass , but they are not twice the population of other tribes in Nigeria , and the next vote ? we will monitor with passion

wuruwuru no dey , If Yoruba wants it , Yoruba gets it , it's a matter of diplomacy and pulling a few strings

To be honest however , i have posted the questions on nairaland and twitter several times, where will governors find funds to maintain the outfit ? they are still struggling to pay minimum wage , adding that means adding more work force / additional load to the budget of the state , we haven't even talked about equipments at all , then depending on the focus , the operatives are they going to be analogue or digital ??
Right now the focus is on asserting the right of Nigerians to protect themselves. Once that is settled, the Governors should demand for an increase in the States' share of the national revenue to help fund the regional security outfits.
PoliticsRe: Miyetti Allah: Amotekun May Deprive Southwest Of 2023 Presidency by executive12: 7:45pm On Jan 16, 2020
What arrogance. Why would the Miyetti Allah guys be against a region forming an organization to provide security for all the residents. It's obvious that Buhari has an evil agenda. The South West should stand firm and go on with Amotekun. We all have the right to protect ourselves. They should not allow these criminals to deceive them with SW Presidency.

Why are people disappointed?

Sincerely, when is the last time you heard ###billion dollars missing or CBN couldn't find ##million dollars?

While Nigera may still be far from what we dream of, I believe things have improved.
Reallyhuh? Let's wait for Transparency International to release their list. Then we can tell if things have improved in the area of corruption. Massive corruption is still going on. The reason you don't hear about it is because Buhari's government is less transparent than past civilian administrations. Buhari's administration is more like a military regime.
