If I were you, I will definitely bring it up with her but in a polite manner. It will be difficult to get it off your mind if you don't confront her. And that will be the last time I will offer her anything. Personally, I don't like being offered food by neighbors but I will not accept it and turn around to dump it. Instead I will politely decline. If the giver insists, I will collect and give it out. |

rusher14: So did Myanmar.
We must stop getting hot under the collar and understand our situation and also democracy.
Sowore has been released but whoever gave him this idea didnt think it through.
Sowore is a good guy with a bad strategy.
I'm even inclined to believe Sowore is an American agent but for now, that's not the point.
His strategy was to tell millions of Nigerians who participated in an election, who picked their leader from various parties that contested, that gave millions of votes to the winner, that their opinion does not matter.
He had 40 thousand votes all together, far less than that.
But he wants to upturn one who garnered was it 13 million votes?
Where is this ever done? But your bigot Buhari did not win the election. The result was cooked up by the non-independent INEC. |

I think he was said to have attended Oxford. I expect an Oxford graduate to be smart. The name that surprised me though, is that of Malami. Since his appointment as Attorney General, he has been inept at his job. He has come across as a quota system Lawyer. He would probably rank as the worst Attorney General in Nigeria so far. |

EgunMogaji2: I’ve refused to pay it and stopped patronizing businesses that tried to charge it.
The CBN policy was very clear but thieving Nigerian businesses try to take advantage of any opportunity. Thieving Nigerian businesses? So you expect a business owner to be paying your irresponsible Government #50 on every transaction of #1000 and above, in addition to the various taxes and levies? How do you expect such a business to make profit? It is the Government that is the thief, not the business owner. |

Debaiz: So you believe a whole lawmaker, Not ordinary lawmaker but one who is paying millions in tax and levies to lagos state will be locked up just because he accused the police of demanding bribe?
Akin Alabis excuse is smelling. Smelling of putrid lies. Even if Nigerian police are mad, we know they don’t do such with politicians let alone a federal lawmaker.
Yes I’m sure they will demand bribe but to arrest him on top of it is a boa rant lie. If Shina hadn’t attempted anything stupid like threaten of ordered his boys to go and carry the vehicles, they won’t arrest him.
If he was arrested because he went to bail people. Why were the people that went with him also arrested? From the posted story, the Police asked the owners of the vehicles to pay #100,000 bribe each in order to retrieve their vehicles. It's not the Lawmaker they asked to pay #100,000 bribe. |

This is Lagos, this is not lawless Abia Somalia where you do anyhow because you are a House of Rep member, your father is the Governor or your kinsman is a Local Government Chairman.
Guys, just for a minute imagine that Shina Peller was an Igbo man or Akin Alabi was an Igbo man. Our Wawa Somalia brothers would have written a petition to Benjamin Iwuayanwu their brother who is the Prime Minister of Israel as well as Donachukwu Trump. Another miscreant and tribalist. |
