Churches That Collects Tithes, Seeds From Widows, Student, Unemployed Are Wicked & Heartless - Daddy Freeze

First of all, how can one who is unemployed or a student pay tithe to the church? From were are these set of people expected to get the money to pay their tithes and seeds from, owning to the fact that they are being provided for and the other, unemployed.

How can a conscientious church ask these people for tithes and seeds? OAP Daddy Freeze has condemned this kind of practices in the church and termed those who dabble in these kinds of manipulation as wicked and heartless and calls for an end to it.

I'm not surprised to hear that some churches do really asked widows, students and unemployed youths for tithes and seeds.

Now this is how all Nigeria youths should be behaving. Those politicians that were given chance to rule, if they ever mess up and come again to campaign for re-lection, they should be disgraced no matter who they are. This is how a country that wants to move forward should behave.

A lawmaker who was campaigning for re-election in Kano State was beaten and disgrace by angry youths.

According to reports, the lawmaker was making a speech about 2019 elections when he was attacked angrily by the youths who were booing him during his speech. A source said that the Lawmaker is under the APC political party.

He added that the youths are angry about the hardship inflicted on them during this APC reign. The Lawmaker was taken to the hospital for medical treatment because he sustained some injuries with his cloth stained with blood.

Investigation is still ongoing to ascertain the identity of the lawmaker in question.

Most of the heavy machinery has been moved off campus, and there's only a little bit of landscaping left to do, according to a new video by drone videographer Duncan Sinfield.

Nigeria has been ranked as the second worst nation in power supply in 2017 as power drops to 3,851 megawatts, MW. The Spectator Index of the world’s worst electricity supply in 2017, stated this in a report released by @spectatorindex twitter handle, yesterday.

Of the 137 countries examined in the report, Yemen ranked as worst electricity supply nations in 2017, followed by Nigeria, Haiti, Lebanon, and Malawi. Imagine the countries a whole Nigeria is associated with in terms of power supply.

Ethiopia occupied the 37 position, while South Africa and Algeria occupied the 41, 45 positions respectively.

Meanwhile, the Advisory Power Team report showed that the national grid capacity stood at 4, 000 Megawatts, MW. The report noted that the average power sent out by the Electricity Generating Companies, GENCOs, on the 14th of January, stood at 3, 851.06mw, down by 168.58mw, recorded the previous day, adding that the peak generation averaged 4, 425mw, down by 5.5 percent.

According to the report;

“On January 14 2018, average power sent out was 3,851MWh/hour (down by 169MWh/h from the previous day). 1437.9MW was not generated due to unavailability of gas.

“0MW was not generated due to unavailability of line infrastructure, while 680.5MW was not generated due to high frequency resulting from the unavailability of distribution infrastructure. 290MW was not generated due to unavailability of water.

“The power sector lost an estimated N1,121,000,000 on January 14, 2018, due to insufficient gas supply, distribution infrastructure, transmission infrastructure and water reserves.”

Consequently, a total of 63.1mw of energy was sent out from Omoku thermal power plant with a constraint of 16mw. Alaoji National Independent Power Plant, NIPP, had a constraint of 240mw which affected the ability of the plant to generate commercial energy.

Energy sent out from Delta power plant on the same day was 340.76mw with a high-frequency constraint of 100 Hertz.

Jebba plant sent out 302.88mw of energy, while Shiroro had a water constraint of 290mw, along with high-frequency constraint of 95 Hz, limiting the sent out energy to 160.31mw, while Kainji dam sent out 359.49mw of power to the transmission company of Nigeria, TCN.

Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode (SAN), has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari once again for not controlling ‘his lust for blood.’

FFK said Buhari was not worthy of any respect. He was apparently referring to the ongoing killings of innocent persons by Fulani herdsmen across the country. In a post on Facebook, the controversial lawyer also took a swipe at the Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai for inflicting pains on the people.

Fani-Fayode wrote;

“A Governor that is incapable of controlling his obsessive desire to inflict pain is not worthy of honor.

“A President that is incapable of controlling his insatiable lust for blood is not worthy of respect. “Many were slaughtered under your collective watch: we shall not forget!”

CHRISTIANS observing their Cross Over were brutally massacred in their numbers just four days ago in Rivers state. It made news headlines everywhere. FFK, we know, appears to have appointed himself the spokesman for Christians and Southerners : WHY HASN'T HE COMMENTED ON THE MASSACRE OF THOSE INNOCENT CHRISTIANS IN RIVERS STATE?

What happened in Rivers is pure tragic and everybody understand that and even the governor of the state have issued N200m bounty on their heads already.

What is happening in Benue State is systematic cleansing of an entire tribe and since these Fulani animals started this, government has turned a blind eye on it.

So you prefer FFK to keep quiet on Benue Massacre that has been going on unchallenged for God knows how many years now and start talking about radical and unknown gunmen who attacked people on new year's eve which rivers government is ready out for?

Reports that a newly formed Igbo socio-political group, the Igbo Ekunie Initiative, has emerged. They have advised President Muhammadu Buhari to engage self determination groups in Nigeria in a fruitful dialogue that would ultimately address their grievances and permanently end agitations in the country.

The group, which had existed for about two years in the Diaspora, apparently came out in the open to fill the gap created by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

President of the group, Mazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, who spoke with reporters in Awka, however observed that violence and marching on the streets would not achieve any objective, insisting that dialogue remained the best approach.

In his words;

We, the Igbo Ekunie Initiative, submit that time has come for a fundamental restructuring of the Nigerian state to a structure and system that provides optimal governance that meets the needs of the populace and allows each region develop at their pace.

“We note that the fundamentals of restructuring suffer no conflict as all proponents virtually agree that more control/autonomy in all facets should be given to the states and regions as the case may be.”

“Government systems should also be modified and streamlined for more effective governance such that there should be rotation of power for purposes of nation building. “Efforts should also be made to eliminate corruption and security enhanced so that development and welfare of the citizenry should be the clear and unambiguous goal of government at all levels.”

He described as an irony the federal government’s proscription of IPOB, while, according to him, the same government was treating the killer Fulani herdsmen with kids glove, despite the pains they were inflicting on the people.

He said further: “2019 general election is around the corner and it is time for government to take decision. Herdsmen cannot be killing our people and somebody would be looking the other way, but had to proscribe IPOB that is innocuous. It is unacceptable.

“We call for immediate withdrawal of all charges against IPOB members and the unconditional release of all their detained members. “In a democratic and heterogeneous state, dialogue should be championed above repression as that is the only way to achieve lasting peace.

“It is unfortunate that President Buhari’s government is returning Nigeria to full blown marginalization and vexed politics of exclusion. Ezeoke said it was obvious that the status quo was unsustainable; adding that attempting to retain it was at best, suicidal.

Former aviation minister and ardent critic of Buhari-led administration, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the Benue All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman Comrade Abba Yaro’s statement that recent killings in the State is a case of ethnic cleansing.

Mr. Yaro had described the massive killing of over 50 Benue people by the Fulani herdsmen as an invitation for civil war. Click here to read full statement. He described the recent killings as an attempt to spark second civil war in Nigeria, insisting that, it was a clear case of ethnic cleansing around the Benue Valley which must be stopped immediately.

Ghastly motor accident destroys lives in Kenya'a Capital, Nairobi. According to reports, at least 36 people have been confirmed dead after a Nairobi-bound bus collided with a truck at Migaa along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Among the dead include the driver of the truck and his loader while 28 bodies were retrieved from the ill-fated bus. 17 other people were seriously injured in the crash which occurred at around 3.30am.

Confirming the incident, Rift Valley Traffic Enforcement Officer Zero Arome said the speeding bus which was travelling from Busia was being driven on the wrong lane when it collided with the truck head on.

The injured people have been rushed to Molo Sub-County Hospital and the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.

Thirty people were confirmed dead at the scene while another four succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment at Nakuru Level Five Hospital.

Among the four who died in hospital were three children aged two months, two years and 10 years and one adult aged 35 years.

Lagos Police Command Dismiss 9 Police Officer & Demotes 25 Over Corrupted Practices

Lagos State Police Command in its quest to ensure sound policing in the state, on Tuesday said it has dismissed nine policemen found culpable of various offences and demoted 25 others for offences bordering on gross insubordination, incivility and drunkenness, among others.

According to a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, 60 rank and files also faced disciplinary action for misconduct. The statement read;

“In keeping with the promise he made to the good people of Lagos State on assumption of office that there will be no room for corrupt and indisciplined police officers under his watch, the Lagos State Police Command hereby releases to the general public the breakdown in figures, of police personnel punished for various disciplinary offences between the months of September and December 2017 as follows:

“Nine officers were dismissed for offences ranging from discreditable conduct, corrupt practices, disobedience to lawful order and falsehood.

Why Nigerians Want President Buhari Re-elected In 2019 - APC National Chairman Oyegun

The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, yesterday, gave reasons why President Muhammadu Buhari would run for a second term in 2019, claiming majority of Nigerians were happy with his leadership and wanted him to return in 2019.

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun spoke in Benin City, Edo State, when he received the Prestigious Benin National Congress, BNC, Award. The well attended event attracted leaders of the APC across the nation, who came to witness the honour bestowed on Chief Oyegun by the Benin socio-cultural organization.

According to Vanguard, some of the dignitaries at the occasion included representative of Governor Godwin Obaseki, Chief Osaro Idah, the Obazulu of Benin Kingdom, Chief Osaro Idah, Minister of Communications, Chief Adebayo Shittu, former Deputy Governors of the state, Dr Pius Odubu, Rev. Peter Obadan, and Chief Lucky Imasuen.

Others were representatives of the Senate President, Senator Francis Alimekhena, Senator Matthew Urhoghide, state chairman of the APC, Anselm Ojezua and secretary, Lawrence Okah. Also in attendance were former Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG, Parry Osayande, former Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Emmanuel Emovon, Justice Samson Uwaifo, who was chairman of the occasion, Chief Clement Alile and many others.

Chief Oyegun, who was given a giant plaque symbolizing a hunter who killed an elephant, by the President of the BNC, Aiyemenkhue Edokpolo, said the honour could not have come at a better time, particular after he survived what he described as a ploy to remove him from office as chairman. Saying that he grew up from a family where disgrace to the family was intolerable, Oyegun disclosed that several allegations were made against him, but God vindicated him at the end of investigations.

The APC national chairman insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari was God-sent to Nigeria. In his words;

“President Buhari was not elected by the elites but by the ordinary people of this country. They look up to him as a symbol. He has that attribute which the ordinary Nigerians are saying that is what they need. I accept that it may not be rosy now but I can tell you that what Buhari inherited was worse than what people thought. At the time he took over, there was no kobo anywhere in the treasury. The price of crude oil collapsed and that is why we are experiencing hardship today. But the good news is that for the first time, this country is building an economic base that is based on the sweat of Nigerians.

“We will never again suffer from the collapse of crude oil. Today agriculture is booming, today we are self- sufficient in the production of agro- products. President Buhari has concluded plans to deliver 3,500 megawatts of electricity to us. We took over a totally collapsed country. But today, things have started to solidify.

Our economy is growing and Nigeria will never experience that type of recession we witnessed. Let me emphasise that the change mantra is not electricity, it is not water, but changing our morals, doing what is right, changing our attitude, a system that rewards competence and productivity. So, we must change those bad aspects of our lives so that we will enjoy the Nigeria that we all crave for. That is the Nigeria that President Buhari intends to put in place for all,” he stated.
